Deleting relationships doesn't serve any clear functional purpose to do casually, and may actually negatively affect aspects of the game, such as disrupting scoring counters of how many sims your sim has encountered for achievement purposes. The game already performs its own cleanup when a sim is deleted, anyway. I may consider it as a debug functionality. Just what kind of problem are you attempting to resolve this way?

I found that my relationship panel inflates itself pretty quickly with "acquaintance" relationships and tends to get pretty crowded/overstuffed with these. I found that simply ctrl-clicking the desired sims that I would never come in contact again with seemed pretty convenient and kept my relationship panel from getting over-bloated.

I understand some people may find this irrelevant and risky, but I'm sure lots of other people may find this handy like me!

Thanks for your consideration Pescado!

I would like to see some functionality that allows users to delete relationships from the relationship panel like with Twallan's RelationshipPanel mod: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/RelationshipPanel+Phase+Five

I would use AM and this together, but they both use the ctrl-click keystroke. Since the RelationshipPanel mod overrides AM's ctrl-click functionality in the relationship panel, they are incompatible. Would like to see some way to delete relationships from the relationship panel in AM regardless!

Thanks.

Hey Pescado and crew, just wondering what your thoughts are on considering this as a mod to the relationship panel in AM and/or if there's any other way to do this currently via AM or another scripting mod that isn't documented.

Did it ever occur to you that trying to install over 2,800 sim3packs at once might not be a good idea?
Quote
My best guess is that the launcher can't install all these files in one go so it fills up the first DCCache file to its max (which is about 2GB?)
So you give yourself an answer and before even trying it out you start a new useless thread? And people wonder why they can't find anything here.

That's what I figured. Testing the limits of how many files the launcher can install at once is tedious  Tongue

I was just thowing it out there for experienced users who might know a ballpark estimate of how many files the launcher can handle at once  Huh

I've made sure the arr'd content was decrapified using Pescado's method.

Would it work if I put all 2,800 items through the decrapper and then try to install everything through the launcher again? Not all items are arr'd like the CC from others sites that I've downloaded from.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Weird DCCache issues when installing Store/CC on: 2012 July 18, 08:44:18
I have about 2,790 CC/Store items I install into the Sims 3 so I use the handy Sims 3 Launcher. All this adds up to roughly 6.06GB total. I put all these .sims3pack files into the "downloads" folder in my root sims 3 folder in "documents" and install every single item through the launcher at once with success. I notice that the DCCache is only 2.02GB instead of the full 6.06GB size the DCBackup and Downloads folders are. I find it strange.

I then proceed to start the Sims 3 but notice that when I start up the game, THERE IS NO CC/STORE CONTENT AVAILABLE IN-GAME! I quit out of the game immediately to find the DCCache folder is empty! Same scenario each time after installing all of my content through the launcher like this.

What is causing this? I have AM installed while installing my CC through the launcher FYI.

My best guess is that the launcher can't install all these files in one go so it fills up the first DCCache file to its max (which is about 2GB?)

The deep fryer reset bug is still there with the latest 2 patch files (StoreFixes/UnAwesome Store Fixes)The Sim goes to use the deep fryer and the sim uses it but right before whatever is in the deep fryer is about to finish cooking, the sim cancels the the action of cooking and resets by doing the same action again in an endless loop.

My store content is all installed via the launcher and I have my own ccmerged file in my DCBackup folder.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / TS3PC: Not-so-Routine Machine Bug(s) on: 2012 April 25, 23:53:05
I've installed the "When Worlds Collide" Premium Content including the "Not-so-Routine Machine" and every time I try to use the "Get read and go to work" option and some venue/community lot functions, the machine get's me ready just fine but then proceeds to teleport me back to my starting position on the machine (aka. resets my sim).

Has anyone else experienced this bug using this machine and, if so, is there a fix? I am using this machine in Bridgeport at the moment.

I am running v. 1.33.1 of my base sims 3 install and have all expansions installed.
