1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 Patch 1.33 on: 2012 April 10, 07:06:20
Not sure if this is a typo or is official, but Simprograms offers a patch from 1.32 to 1.33 here

The updated page lists the following with links:
Update to version 1.33.2.015001 from version 1.32.3.015001
Update to version 1.33.2.015002 from version 1.32.3.015002
Update to version 1.33.2.015003 from version 1.32.3.015003
Update to version 1.33.2.015005 from version 1.32.3.015005
Update to version 1.33.2.015017 from version 1.32.3.015017
Update to version 1.33.2 (BIG 1GB UPDATE)

I patched from 1.31 to 1.33, therefore I do not know if the above patches work. Comment back if it worked for you.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2012 March 01, 02:21:42
I really rate MySimRealty's worlds, especially Redwood Harbor, though that is an older one, not updated for Pets. I did manage to find space for the riding school whatsit and a horse park, though space is a bit tight, and obviously it does not really fit Late Night style clubbing (fine by me as there are never any blooming sims in my clubs in the first place).

There aren't that many worlds out there that incorporate ALL the EPs, as creators often try and make their worlds available for as many users as possible, but it shouldn't be too difficult to plonk a couple of pets lots down in somewhere like Glendalough for example.

What are you after? A big sprawling world or a small, easier on the RAMZ, island world?

Adding on to this, I absolutely love Dragon Falls by My Sim Realty. The entire world is gorgeous and you really have to look at it instead of relying on the pics they show you. It has WA, AMB, LN, Pets, and GEN.

You can try using the crash log analyzer from modthesims. I had a similar problem and it turned out that all of my saves were corrupted and sims 3 kept saving corrupted files. I solved my problem by saving in a separate name, saving twice under that name, and then restoring the back-up of my latest save. If corrupt saves are not your problem, the analyzer might tell you what is the problem.

The CLA is here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=416883

If you want to try the method I described it is found in a detailed version here: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Restoring_Backup_Saves
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: EA/ORIGIN - Now borking the exchange and your games. on: 2012 March 01, 01:31:16
That sucks. I do not know if you are aware of this, but there is a trick to downloading from the exchange without needing an account.

Just go to the page where you would usually add the content to your game and right-click the page. Then select "View Page Source" and in the little window press "Ctrl" and "F" so the Find box appears. Simply type in "sims3pack" without the quotes which should bring you to a url that starts with "llnw.thesims3.com." Select the url, copy it, and paste it into your browser. The download should pop up and now you can use content from the exchange. This is assuming you have Firefox, but I'm pretty sure it works on any browser.

I hope you find workarounds to the other features.

I'm not trying to hold anyone accountable for my "failure" as a pirate. I was just wondering if anyone had back-ups I could use. I wasn't stupid; I backed everything up on my hard drive which crashed. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I apologize if I seem this way. Since I'm going to have to reinstall anyway, I'm going to test if installing Master Suite will fix my dilemma. I appreciate your responses and I am sorry for offending you.

EDIT 2: I see now, I am being an idiot. Please ignore me. Despite installing MS without problems, the crack remained untouched. Reinstalling now.

I have done terrible things...

I would reinstall but I don't have any of my backups since my external hard drive crashed. I was thinking someone would understand but I guess I was wrong (at least I wasn't insulted  Smiley). Would installing another EP or SP such as Master Suite fix the problem by overwriting the crack? My game is playable, it just bugs me that I'm using a crack. It will take a day to reinstall everything and I don't see the point of it since I can just replace the .exe and .dll easily. Thanks for the feedback.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Uncracking Sims 3 on: 2012 February 28, 07:56:23
Hello, I have just spent an hour trying to register. I hate bran muffins now.

Moving on, I made a horrendous n00b mistake. I cracked my game because game4theworld told me to use their ultimate fix. My game is acting up and base game content is messing up as if it were custom content. Bottom line, I want to uncrack it without having to reinstall everything. I have pets with the 1.29 patch so can someone upload their uncracked .exe and .dll so I can use a no-cd mod or  tell me how to go about uncracking? I read something about repatching to get the original exe but I'm pretty sure if I try to run the patcher again my game will become borked.

Any help?
