1  TS2: Burnination / Taster's Choice / Re: REPOST - No Empty & No Mid-stream Stop Hacks on: 2005 December 20, 23:20:30
Are you using both the no-empty and no-stop hacks?
2  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Blue Border UI Modification on: 2005 December 20, 23:19:33
VERY tiny.  Look closely in the VERY upper left hand corner of the want/need.
3  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: REPOST - Biotech Station Child Fix v1.1 on: 2005 December 20, 23:18:11
Ah thank you. Could this be enabled so that it will work like it was planned?

Are you referring to the missing animations?  If so the answer is no, or at least not right now.  I would have to create all new animations as some of the child animations are completely missing and as of right now I have no experience in doing that.  I seem to remember a utility from the Sims 1 that allowed you to make animation files but I don't know of any for the Sims 2.  Right now I have little free time and the time I do have will be going to getting an "un-messy" version of Date Doctor up and running, which is coming along nicely I might add.

Hi Phedge I have been using this mod but every time I use cleanintsall it says it is an empty package. I was just wondering why it tells me that.

I imagine it is flagged as being empty because there is no OBJD file, but I can't say for sure as I am not familiar with cleaninstall.

Not sure. I will have to look into that.

Here is my old noovereating hack.  It will stop you from overeating regardless of activity.

OK. I have some sims with low Active points. They dance all the time. But they still get fat really easily.

Try installing Pescado's noeatcrap mod.  From what I read it will prevent your sims from overeating which is why they lose fitness points.

I was wondering when someone would come across that.  Grin

I kinda got tired of typing the boring crap for messages.
10  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: NEW - Hedge: The Date Doctor on: 2005 December 12, 13:15:49
DD works by dropping an interaction out of your que if it will fail.  A notification dialog is also displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen letting you know not to use that interaction right now.
11  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: NEW - Hedge: The Date Doctor on: 2005 December 09, 13:27:31
I admit I am not very happy with the way I have implemented the hack, but from all my testing everything works ok.  I am planning not using overrides in the next version.

Date Doctor v1.1 -- Brought to you by Phedge34
NL Only!

Extract file into your Downloads folder and enjoy.

Basic Principles,
No sim wakes up saying, "God, I hope I don't get swept off my feet today."  Now, a sim
might say, "This is a really bad time for me," or something like, "I just need some space,"
or my personal favorite, "I'm really into my career right now."  Do you believe that?  I do.
When a sim tells you no they really do mean no.  Trust me, they use simple equations to
determine responses based on a given relationship score.  This is where I come in.  My job is
open your eyes.

Basic Principles,
No matter what, no matter when, no matter who, any sim has a chance to sweep any other sim
off their feet.  They just need the right broom.

Hedge - The Date Doctor
------------------
This mod will prevent any SELECTABLE sim from botching up any hug, flirt, or kiss.  If you try
to do something that will end in certain failure Hedge will gladly step in and stop you.
You will also be protected from messing up an Ask on Date -and-  Come back to my place/Need a
ride home interaction.

Thanks Phedge and might i say it's nice to see you at MATY.

Edit: Your NoEmptyHack.zip seems to lack the readme and instead contain NoWelcomeHome.zip i don't think this was intended was it?

Whatever could you mean?

*quickly reloads corrected zip file*

Everything looks on the up and up to me.

BioStationChildFix v1.1 -- Brought to you by Phedge34

Extract file into your Downloads folder and enjoy.

This hack allows your children to sell and dispose of medicine and viruses.
Maxis found it necessary to deny child this action, probably to avoid becoming
ill.  Your children will now be able to level up their skills with forcing someone
to take precious time out of their day to babysit.  There is currently no button
pushing animation for children like there is for adults.  This may be corrected in
a future release.  Also planning on a "Continuous BiotechStation" hack as well.

16  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Phedge's No Welcome Home on: 2005 December 05, 23:25:02
I do to gail, but I found for some reason it didnt always work, so in conjunction with this Nowelcomehome mod, I was able to stay in complete control of the kiddies without having to turn freewill off just to get through that magic hour when the rents get home.

Interesting observation.  Pescado seems to have created his a couple weeks ahead of mine and they both modify different BHAVs.  This could explain why using both is more effective.  This hack stops the interaction at the"Get Out" behaviour while Pescado's edits the "Parent Greet" bahaviour.

After a long break I plan on working on some new hacks.  I just got my copy of NL and have already run into some things I don't like.  Hope to turn out something useful here before too long. Grin
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Attraction Scores? on: 2005 December 01, 15:04:47
After taking a look at a disassembled version of the AttractionScores.ObjLua I am left wondering, has Pescado waded through this mess and can he give a clear picture of how attraction scores are calculated?  I see that zodiac signs, aspirations, and personality traits (Nice, Neat, Playful, Outgoing, and Active) are all pulled into the calculation but I am unsure as to how they affect it.  Do zodiac signs use the standard attract/repel guidelines?  What aspirations attract/repel?  How much do personal traits play a role?  If someone can point me in the right direction that would be most appreciated.

Looking for a mod/hack that gives mu uneducated sims the extra want boxes and the extra want lock.

Thanks in advance!
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / I was scared there for a moment... on: 2005 August 19, 00:22:40
Having not visited VS in a while I popped by to see what was cooking, mainly to see what creations of terror Pescado had unleash upon innocent civilians.  Man has that site changed and gotten flippin huge.  It reminds me of MTS2 only harder to navigate.  I was shocked to see Pescado was NOWHERE to be found on the forum.  I quickly hot into java chat and asked what had happened and Retched pointed me to this site, I love the homepage by the way it has a Monty Python feel to it.  Anyway I am sad to here you have been kicked from yet another site, but the good news is experts are working on a new server that WILL be able to hold you ego. I kid, I kid, I make joke with you.  Congratulations on your new site and good luck.

Oh, I was also wondering why I can't have a username with numbers in it.
