I apologize if this is stupid or tight pants or whatever, but Twallan's ErrorTrap caught the attached script errors (2 are enclosed in the file) and he told me to send them over here for your review.

Hopefully there are ways to play the features of SHT without all the social features invading. Because from what I've heard, the EP is really a nice release without the social features. As long as I have a mod to unlock reward objects, it's all good.

The person above me mentioned something about pets and community lots, which reminds me of this very retarded thing sims do. Ergo: 1. I send a sim to walk somewhere with her dog. 2. I realize that it's really late/sim is about to starve, pass out, or piss themselves/something's on fire/whatever 3. I click the Go Home button, and a taxi materializes. 4. The sim gets in the taxi and leaves her poor dog to spend half the night walking home. Is there any way to configure the taxi so that when the sim gets in there, they take their pets with them? Because this is really, really, annoying.

To elaborate on jeromycraig's post above, not patching=bad. Generally, patching helps you more than it hurts. Why? Patching fixes some limited issues, and you get better tech support, not only from EA but mod creators. If you go and bitch about something to EA or a creator, and you mention that you're not updated, the first thing they'll tell you to do is patch, and you get nowhere.

With Awesomeware (particularly AwesomeMod) TS3 fails way less, and I've had less of those WTF moments. I don't really care what Awesome Story decides to do to my Sims while I'm away, since my main objective is to get everyone having babies. As long as I have pudding spawn running around my world, I don't care. Then again, I also like playing heartbreakers. Particularly male heartbreakers, since I can use them as sperm donors and leave the spawn with the women. As for aesthetics, I just got a new graphics card, and with the fair amount of CC I have installed, my sims are gorgeous.

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Drop old romantic interests?
|

I recall reading somewhere that there is a functionality within AM to drop old romantic interests, but I might be misremembering. Are there ways to end romantic interests? My sim has a romantic interest from the old days that I haven't made 'official' yet, and I have no plans to do so.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Any way to salvage Sims from a corrupted town?
|

My save has spontaneously corrupted, shown by the Crash Log Analyzer after a CTD. Is there any way to salvage the Sims from that town and move them to a fresh, corruption-free neighborhood without dooming it as well? Because I created all of the Sim families in my town one by one, and it'd suck to have to abandon them all. Is there any way to single out corrupted Sims? I was thinking that ErrorTrap might be a good indicator of corruption (i.e. if a sim keeps throwing errors, I should just nuke the household before moving my famblies) but I am probably wrong.

Downloaded and am using the most recent AM now (dated Jan 5) and now I can no longer manipulate the attributes of my Sims (ie. hunger, energy, etc). Works fine for me. Check that you've enabled testing cheats. I downloaded Twallan's Overwatch and ErrorTrap (and I obviously have AwesomeMod), and the towderelicts command isn't working for me. I saw a tag in Map View that I think was triggered by Overwatch, telling me that the Pudding family's car was parked at the police station in SV and was therefore a derelict vehicle. That isn't actually a derelict vehicle, since it's parked at an actual spot. It disappeared on its own because they finally decided to drive it off. The tag is there for "Dude, Where's My Car?" purposes. Oh, is that an AM feature then? I assumed it was Twallanian, but I was wrong.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Pets- Whats borked thread

I'm not only having the common "zombie pets" problem (i.e. my pets, especially cats, look like Gwill's picture), my game is CTD'ing. I only have AwesomeMod, Twallan's ErrorTrap and Overwatch, and the two mods that came with the framework, as well as hair, clothes, and default eyes and skins. Everything is up-to-date, my graphics card is fine, everything in my game should be running smooth as glass. The only other time I've had a CTD is when I first installed AwesomeMod, and that was a while ago. I'm not even having noticeable lag. I just installed Pets today, so I don't know . Edit: Aha, my graphics card was apparently not fine. My graphics card, which is clearly substandard, could handle the base game without major problems, but Pets was too much for it apparently. The graphics card is replaced, and my pets are no longer mangled and my game is running much smoother. I tried playing a premade fambly in Riverview to see if my old Sunset Valley hood; which had acquired many lots and Sims over the ages; was causing the problem, but no difference. In fact it was worse; my game was freezing even more frequently, especially when I introduced a mangled horse into the household. I had a CTD about 2 Sim days into playing them, erasing the successful Try for Baby my Sims had completed the previous day (save often, people, best advice I can give you). Now, with a nice graphics card and moar memory, my game is running beautifully, with all my pets appearing the way they should. It appears Pets wasn't a total waste of my money.

I tried the towderelicts command but the tag was still there, which obviously means the car was still there. The problem persisted for several days, until the tag was gone. I tried towderelicts again during those several days, until the tag randomly disappeared. I'm wondering if the car wasn't actually there, but the tag for some reason didn't go away when I entered the command. I'm assuming Overwatch finally realized the car was there and removed it, but it took several days, when problem fixing is supposed to happen nightly. I'm going to report the problem over at the NRaas wiki, and I'll edit when I get an answer (assuming I don't get one here first).
