1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lucky Palms fails to recognize the existence of arred EPs? on: 2012 July 04, 02:54:46
But those are lots that came with the EPs, no? The Store worlds come with prebuilt lots for EPs, such as those placed by the game for Ambitions. I've had the same problem with Lunar Lakes, but I was under the impression that it was because I torrented the town.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Lucky Palms fails to recognize the existence of arred EPs? on: 2012 July 04, 02:32:04
I downloaded and decrapped Lucky Palms from here. Although Store worlds are supposed to recognize which EPs you have and plop down the respective lots, it only did that with one EP- Ambitions, the only one I bought.
Is this normal? Am I being stupid?
I'm guessing that either I installed the EP's wrong (I don't use cracks, just Awesomemod's NoCD) or it somehow checks. I can, of course, download the lots I'm missing separately, but I'd really like to know what went wrong and fix it.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Family funds on: 2012 March 29, 14:15:30
You could use the 'freerealestate' cheat. I don't think familyfunds works when you're not directly playing.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 February 04, 06:06:33
Er... WCIF a mod to stop the baby crying animation? (the little in-crib dance it does when a motive is low, stopping the parents from doing anything about it.)
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Pets- Whats borked thread on: 2012 January 08, 22:32:32
I fail again. Insults accepted. Sorry 'bout that.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 28, 05:35:26
No, I just followed a link, so I really didn't get in through the boards. I didn't know of the existence of the FAQ. Sorry to ruffle your feathers and so on, and I promise to stalk every board to the beginnings of this site before posting anything else, no matter how fluffy, pointless, or whatever else the board may be. Okay? Okay. Now, since I fixed something that wasn't broken, I'll leave.

Toodles. See you all again when I have another stroke of stupidity. I find you guys fun and supportive, even though you do enjoy tard-bashing.

That wasn't sarcasm. I really do.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 28, 03:32:17
I originally asked this somewhere else. Where the FAQ is not. However, thanks.

Alright.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 28, 00:26:37
Madame Mim:
-nice to know.
-I'm too stupid/I forgot. I did mention that I was trying to get the previous version because I deleted my previous version while updating, so there's that.
-A large percent of the Sims-playing community on other sites have complained about it excessively, even more so than 1.26. So I expect/expected the worst.

Skadi:
It's not AM's fault. I have said that I turned on AM because I'm to lazy to look for other reasons, one of which is my stupidity. I don't really think I want to sod off, if that's all the same to you. It's not like I troll excessively or typeh lyk tis, so chill. I'm not the worst. You can stand my stupidity. I believe in you.

Incongnito:
See previous answer(s).

At any rate, I hope the patch is the problem. (Yes, it probably is.) If not, I may end up coming back, and floaty-superhero in the sky knows that's the last thing you want.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 27, 19:40:27
I prefer a facepillow, myself. Softer. Mutes out us idiots if used correctly.

What/how many things am I doing wrong? Or has my stupidity already been addressed?
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 27, 19:26:27
Yeah. But I am:

a) patching it, right now, even though I've heard 1.29 is terrible
b) pretty sure that it has been stated that the game ignores the parts of the mod that are out of its level/doesn't apply to it.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 27, 18:02:21
Hmm.

I completely cleaned the caches each time I tested mods for problems.
Sigh. Well, if it's not awesomemod, I'm going to actually have to do some work for once. I'll need to go through all the files. What fun.
____
Went through them. Still shows that it's /mods.
Went through the mods- not the problem. The EXISTENCE of mods in my game is the problem. Both the game and awesomemod error my mods. 'My mods' meaning the CCMagic 'Modbuild0' package.
I'm going to try to run the mods outside of CCMagic.
____
Now it just lists mods. Genius.

I'm going to stop editing this thing, because it's of no use to you. Sorry for attacking awesomemod. As usual, I was wrong.
__
Actually, I still think it may have something to do with awesomemod, since the game is saying I have an outdated (or overdated, if that's a word) mod. I don't have patch 1.29. But then, you have said that the game ignores what it doesn't understand...

I'll just shut up now.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 27, 17:31:50
In theory. I got in anyway, so the theory is false; you may wish to revise it. The only reason I'm insisting on playing an outdated version is because it seems that awesomemod is no longer compatible with CCMagic, unlike the previous versions. It, as aforementioned, 'Non-Critical Core Mismatches' all mods I have when running CCMagic.
Now, I'm probably wrong (I usually am) but since it isn't any of my other mods (which I checked, by deactivating and reactivating and so on) I wouldn't mind having the previous version of awesomemod to see if it's the awesomemod version.
If it's not awesomemod, it may be a borked object, though why it would send out errors is beyond me.

Yeah.
You can flame me now, because I don't doubt I'm being very stupid in some mundane way.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Not an AwesomeMod Bug on: 2011 December 27, 06:03:06
Also, because I probably can't convince you to modify the whole mod for one player, (because that is extremely stupid) and I will not give up my CCMagic because the amazingly artistic pile of shit my game is without it is incomprehensible, is there any way to revert to the .26 mod? Or did you say NO somewhere in big, bold lettering and I missed it?
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 December 25, 02:31:40
It seems to me that the new Awesomemod version doesn't like CCMagic. It's 'nonfatal core mismatch'-ing the whole 'mods' folder. (I keep all script, core, and non-objects there.)
16  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Expiry notice. on: 2011 December 11, 01:30:17
Shiggy- ...damn good point.

Other guy- Thank you for that genius suggestion. I couldn't live without it, and thus am dying even now without more of your bites of wisdom.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Expiry notice. on: 2011 December 11, 00:56:22
Ah, lurkers...
18  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Expiry notice. on: 2011 December 11, 00:43:30
Yep- cry, cry, etc. Unnecessary tears, tantrums.

Anything else expected of me?

Perhaps I should tyipe leik tis?

19  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Expiry notice. on: 2011 December 11, 00:35:18
Awesomemod expired- closing my game to desktop. I'm fucking about here, since now my free-time sims playing has been interrupted.

Why? Fuck you, that's why.

Also, I do know that it's probably not that easy to make a new version, but if you're going to put a lock on an exact time...

Please, if I'm wrong, correct me.
20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2011 November 26, 05:22:01
A solution was found. It seems at least one of my game patches was fucked up masterfully.
Someone suggested using http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?p=3709904&posted=1#post3709904. (It's a patching tool.)

I don't know how this affected the core mod, since I'm not a modder, but hey, it works, and it's...it's.... awesome.

Anyway, I'm just posting this in case someone has the same problem.
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2011 November 25, 22:07:24
It loaded about 1/8th (each time) The it CTD'd, with a Windows-based error message (as in, "Sims 3 has stopped working..."). That's pretty much all, really. It did this only with the AM and NRaas master controller, though. It loaded my game with my other non-core mods as normal. (this happened with the latest version)
With the 1.24, I got this error all the time: "It seems you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the Sims 3."
As I said, this only happened with 1.24.
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2011 November 25, 21:13:03
Erm, hello.

As you -might- guess, I'm a person to stupid to be able to install Awesomemod correctly. It just keeps on crashing. And failing.  Let me fill you in:

-This is the stuff that I'm not sure about the importance of.
I have Win7.  As EP's go, I have WA, AMB, and GEN. 80% of my game is pirated. I have no other core mods. I do have other mods. I have game version 0.152 (if that's the part I'm supposed to cite.)

FAIL LOG:
I placed it into /Mods. At first, it -"looks like you have installed an unoffical mod... does not match your current game."
Googled, cleared cache, repeated.
Same error.
I stopped being a showoff and downloaded the main copy (first I tried 1.24). It crashed.
I realized I was being derpy and tried to run it WITHOUT also trying out (for the first time) the NRaas master controller.
It crashed.
Tried to run master controller only.
It crashed.
Tested my game by itself, without the mods.
Worked great.
Removed all of my mods, only placed the awesomemod & config.
Game crashed.
Tried only awesomemod without the config.
Crashed.

Obviously, I'm doing something really fucking wrong.
Probably something to do with my game version, right? No?
And yes, I did do searches. I've been trying to install AM for three hours or so now, I think. Most of that was searches, here and other places.

Please don't flame me too badly. I'm not a pro at this, or a modder, or anyone else that knows how to mess with their game properly.
