Well could you please suggest a program that I can download to my mac in order to decrapify .Sims3Pack files and/or turn them into .package files? I understand that having a mac is no excuse not to do this myself, but have been having a hard time finding a good program. I have PackExtractor.jar, but I am looking for something that can can do a better job at specifying what I am extracting from the .Sims3Pack file, as Pack Extractor does not do this and all I want from the Adventurous Life set is the rock wall. Also, if anyone knows of a program that can consolidate multiple .package files, I would love to know where I can get that, as having so many package files is slowing down my game considerably. I was honestly just placing a request in the forum that I was instructed to do so in. If no one wants to help me, that's fine. I just thought I would take the chance and ask.
well trust me there are very few people on here who will actually help you out I know I did same with asking and getting all the negative feedback from people here who think they are better than anyone. So I am sure someone will help you here...do not take all the negative on here and ignore it. Thank you for replying so respectfully. I have faith that someone here will eventually try to help me in some way, I'm just trying to see if I can ask in the right way.

Im having the same problem. Iv got the .world file in the installedWorlds folder and the other .package files in the WorldCaches folder.
Have decrapified it and still no luck? Games all up to date and iv downloaded things from here and never had any issues before? And this is with 2 different downloads of Hidden Springs.
I know im probably opening myself up to be rediculed for being dim but I fail to see what Iv done wrong?
I did exactly what you did, and mine didn't work either. I tried messaging the person who had posted the files to ask if I had done something wrong as well, but no reply yet and it's been a couple of days.

haha. i'm not angry. I really appreciate you trying to help me. putting the .world file in that worlds folder causes my game to crash as soon as the loading screen loads. I don't get to the screen where you can select a family or to create a new game.

I put the Hidden Springs.world file where my other .world files are (Installed Worlds folder) and have tried putting the Hidden Springs (objects).package file in both my mods folder and in my world cashe folder, and the neighborhood still won't show up in my game. I also tried changing the hidden Springs (objects).package file name to Hidden Springs_objects.package, which is how the object files for my other downloaded worlds are formatted. This also had no effect.

My bad, I didn't see the Mac reference. If you do a search in your Mac for the Sunset Valley.world, where is it?
I don't have a sunset valley.world. I do have Barnacle Bay.world and Riverview.world, which are both located in the Installed Worlds folder.

I am using a mac, So I installed the game in my documents folder. Sunset Valley is a world that came with the game, so I'm not exactly sure where that is. I searched it and found a few .nhd files and a Sunset Valley.sims3.backup folder in my saves folder. Could you specify what folder to put the .world file in, or are there any Mac users out there who could help me out?
Thanks!

I used the .rar file from the downloads thread, it installed fine.
are you using a mac? If so, how did you install it? did you just download and put it right into the downloads folder, or did you have to put it through another program first? One has already been posted, look in the correct place to find it. If you are talking about a .package file already being posted, I am aware of that. I downloaded the .package and .world files, put the .package in the World Cashe folder and put the .world file in the Installed worlds folder. I loaded my game and nothing for Hidden springs shows up when I go to start a new game. I messaged the poster of the files to ask if I was doing anything wrong, but if you have any suggestions, i would love to hear them!

can anyone please post Hidden Springs as a .package file. I am using a mac, and for some reason that means that when I download .sim3pack files form the forums, they don't install through the launcher. Thanks!
