TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Anyone using a Macbook pro here?
|
on: 2011 February 10, 05:00:35
|
Hi, I'm thinking of getting a 15" Macbook pro, I've never been a Mac user, this would be me crossing over to new territories. Before I go ahead, I was wondering how TS3 with all the EPs and SPs will perform, whether running the game will be slow or playing the game with all the graphics on high will effect the speed and overheat the graphic card?
This is the Macbook pro specifications: 15-inch 2.4ghz intel core i5 4gb memory 320gb hd intel hd graphics nvidia geforce gt330m with 256mb mac os x snow leopard
Can anyone help me?

I have the same freeze and crash to desktop roblem whenever the time is 1am. I don't have WA, and I've updated to 1.7 as well as AM. My question is, how do I switch to Awsome Story Driver? I just started using AM. It'd be great, if anyone can help me. Thanks.

I had the same problem. I had no problem with hair downloads from XMS. The game wouldn't start when I added the director's cut hack. I tried 5 times to start the game, only it just gave me a blank black screen, and I had to use task manager to cancel it. Then I deleted some of the least needed hacks, and tried starting the game again, and it did. I place my cc and hacks in sub-folders in the download file. Just thought of sharing, not much of a help though. Maybe you could try putting your cc in sub-folders?

Hi, I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask this, so if I got it wrong, sorry. I'm about to install the FFS hacks for Pets, and I came across this hack censustool.package. I've looked everywhere for the RTM, and didn't find one for it. So, can anyone tell me what this hack does to the game? And these too, noadhd.package privateschoolbillfix.package rpshack.package Thanks...

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Dognappers!

Instead of dognapper, mine is babynapper. My nanny suddenly had the baby floating in front of her, the baby got stuck in that position till the nanny left in the van, and the baby went along. After that, the baby's picture on the panel disappeared too. And the stupid sim parent didn't react to the missing baby. They had a child, toddler and a baby taken away by the social worker, and at that time, the parent were sad. But with the case of the nanny babynapping, nothing. I'm going through all my hacks, but I haven't installed anything recently, I have a feeling that a ball of fire is coming. Anyone had this happened before?

Thanks fro the advice ZiggyDoodle. I will convert back to firefox, I only started using explorer, cos the new version had multiple tabs feature like firefox, and also because explorer seemed to be faster at loading pages and less time out compared to firefox. Hm, the ZoneAlarm is only a 15 days free trial, . But I'm gonna give it a try. Hm, just a thought, will it slow down my computer? especially when playing the sims?

All is fine now. BUt I'd like to share how I did it, incase anyone has the same problem. My friend googled "isamonitor removal" and went into one of the forums that told how to remove it, turns out, we had to download this program named smitfraudfix, and that solved the problem. It deleted the undeletable videoActiveXobject. *relieved* Thank you all for being helpful, I really appreciate it.

Thank you all for being helpful. I've scanned with ad-aware se personal, but the problem is still there. I can't delete the video active control folder that has all the files with the virus, it keep saying to turn off related programs, and when i try to delete the files individually, it says acess denied. Right now, I've downloaded spybot, and lets see how it does.

Thank you both for the suggestions, I have downloaded spybot, but it refused to install, so I downloaded ad-aware se, and it's now scanning my comp. I've found the culprit, but it can't be uninstalled(thru control panel), and i can't end the process in the task manager. it definitely got to do with the activex control that i stupidly installed. If you read the thread on brittney spears, don't go to the link, it was my curiosity to see whether brittney spears was really doing porn flicks that got me into this mess in the first place.

I started getting this message after downloading and installing an active video something, I know very little about computers, after gettin the messages, I assumed it was the active video thing that's causing this, so I uninstalled it, and rebooted, and now I'm still getting the message, and my internet explorer has a new homepage, and is prompting me to download and install a spyware program. Right now I'm scanning my computer using bitdefender. Should I download the spyware program, that the internet explorere prompted me to? Please help! I tried attaching the picture of the internet explorer and the notification on trojan that I got, but JPEG etc are not accepted. I don't know how to get the picture to appear in the message.
