Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Options/Sims Toolbar is gone

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this happened to me. My game started being hella buggy before it. I was playing a legacy challenge and one of my sims would not die of old age. At 102, she wouldn't retire or die, so i killed her in a swimming pool (as you do).
The then remained in the house hold as a ghost, still playable etc. I had to use moveobjects to delete her. (The game also claimed that her tombstone was still in use by the Grim Reaper).
After that my other sims would randomly cancel actions and glitch across the room after about a second. Then i try to load my save today and it's like this: No tool bars, none of the hotkeys work.
Since this is a legacy challenge save, i'd really like to be able to get it back is possible. Has anyone found anything to work against this?
Thanks!

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Merging/Keeping sets separate question

I'm extremely sorry if this is something that's been covered, but I read the whole "Merging mods to increase performance" thread and I haven't found an answer to this problem. When I merge normal stuff, like clothing or game objects, everything works fine, the game runs at an acceptable speed. If I put all of my sets into the mods folder, it runs painfully slow. As in, if I want to play the game, I have to put the game on, then wait for two hours to get to actual game play. But if I merge the sets into a couple of packages they don't show up in game.
This could be something simple that I'm being an idiot about, so if I'm missing something it would be nice to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks.
