It's soooo purty, and perfect for one of my Self-Sims Cheesy

Thanks for the link Smiley

SimFlowerchile with a Ford?

Tis a sad day indeed.

 Cheesy
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A RUMOUR about the next expansion pack on: 2006 April 10, 16:30:54
Maxis won't miss a trick.

EP will contain dogs, pigs and parrots.

To get cats, snakes and goldfish you will need to buy another add-on pack.

You wait and see!
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims 2 Open for business Movie on: 2005 December 06, 16:42:32
My worry is they will take the ideas from the modders, and introduce their own bugged versions - at the same time breaking the existing community-made content. My faith in Maxis is not too great...
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: who or what is MATY? on: 2005 December 01, 15:59:47
FUBAR fits quite nicely with another military acronym (on this side of the pond, anyway).

SNAFU
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: still-life gone poof? on: 2005 November 29, 20:00:15
What I do now, is when I take the snapshot for a photo or painting, I drop Sims to the taskbar and open MSPaint. I can then retouch the background to make it all one colour, or whatever. Then I save. Then I "save as" something else - Beau_school.bmp or whatever. That way, I should have a copy that can be repainted or rephotographed should the original go missing.
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please help the wuss (re installation of Uni and NL) on: 2005 November 28, 21:52:23
If you really want to play a few days before putting a patch in, you should add JM's critical Uni fixes beforehand - otherwise you will risk creating serious problems - including some that won't appear until later, by which time it's too late.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Corrupted Stuff Stuck in Invetory on: 2005 November 24, 14:46:10
So the whole point of me using an inventory was to move sim-painted portraits and stuff to a new house, and that's one of the things that gets FUBARed when you do? Where's that bloody MaxoidTom? I have a boot/buttock interface solution for him.   Angry
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Food Menus on: 2005 November 19, 22:18:41
I downloaded a fridge (probably from MTS2) that had pizza and chinese available by slice or box. So no doubt it'll be updated to contain options for all the new NL grub.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: MATY on the cellphone on: 2005 November 19, 21:25:47
My point is, it doesn't matter if you have a hand-free or not (they are legal here BTW) - if you are talking you are not giving your driving full attention. So if they want to make things safer, ban 'em all!

* Baddmark speaks as someone who no longer owns a car or mobile phone, heh!
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: MATY on the cellphone on: 2005 November 18, 15:34:07
Everything is against the law in this poxy country.  Angry
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Fit for a King on: 2005 November 14, 15:40:16
Yeah, me and someone else used to tease him saying set up a webcam to prove you really live like that, and then we laughed thinking of him calling to his wife saying "Darling, I'm just going to move my computer desk into the wine cellar for today" so as to preserve the idea of living underground Cheesy

Heh! More likely: "Darling, can I move my computer desk into the wine cellar..."

She calls him "Pescado" and he calls her "Yes Dear".   Grin
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Moving problems on: 2005 November 13, 15:25:38
And if they'd only waited a few more weeks before releasing the NL patch, this problem would almost certainly have been reported to them, and they could have fixed it!

Yeah, but they wouldn't have. There would be two months of denying the problem exists, two months of saying they are working on it and these things take time and two months of lecturing us about not asking for patches since they have already released one and it's not their policy to release patches every few days for tiny problems that only a minority of people are having. Or am I being a little too cynical?
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Fit for a King on: 2005 November 12, 03:54:02
I needed somewhere for my freshly downloaded Pescado to live, so I got out the shovel and started digging.

As we can see, approaching by helicopter, this energy efficient dwelling has thick brick foundations, concrete roof, a two storey moat and a year's subscription to SkyNet. Low maintenance landscaping and an attractive yet secure wall feature complete the lot.

The attractive South aspect says "Welcome" to any visitor.

Partly finished upper floor has useful sniper holes and hiding places, lacking only the sharpened steel "guillotineate" doors still on order from Inge's Doors for Discerning Dictators range.

Lower floor has a spacious yet comfortable command and control centre fit for any head of a NationState.

15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: is there a doctor in the house? on: 2005 November 11, 12:25:49
Pescado has a non-invasive treatment for head bumps, you should ask him to sort you out.
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does this make sense? on: 2005 November 10, 16:32:20
Hee hee! "Retchead", that's quite fitting.  Grin

* Baddmark opens Rennie in SimPE and finds corrupted memories and all relationships at -100/-100. Should I repair or delete?
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 10, 16:00:46
Bah. Why can't you sort it all out on this site? I want to read all your waffle here, not have to chase about looking for Yahoo! groups.  Cry
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hacks may be causing weird side-effects on: 2005 November 09, 21:39:37
Have you patched your game? It sounds very "jump buggish".
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Twojeffs PC Meltdown on: 2005 November 09, 00:09:22
Civfanatics.com has always been a good site for the lowdown on Civ. Plenty of good mods and tutorials too.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does this make sense? on: 2005 November 07, 00:04:08
Looks pretty obvious Rennie was looking up Rainbow's posts to see if there was any ammunition to "not-ban" her, and decided to post that out of context reply without looking at the date, her own previous post or bothering to actually read what Rainbow wrote.

It was in his Soapbox forum, but it was moved.  It's under Sims 2™ Community Links, Site Updates and Announcements  > Site Links.

So it got moved to "Site Links" but any linking to the site is "Blocked by Linked Site"? This gets better and better.  Grin
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Has anyone been able to help poor Jane? on: 2005 November 04, 02:44:57
Ah, you see, I didn't get academic probation, the meter was full. Just no chance of getting top GPA.

I've pretty much decided to get those two together when he graduates, but she's chatting to any single guys that she meets "just in case".  Wink

The two Greek houses I've not bothered with much. The constant wandering off to get yet another pizza when I want them to skill up or do something else wound me up!  Grin
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Has anyone been able to help poor Jane? on: 2005 November 04, 01:42:44
They are fine in my game, apart from the fact they don't have a 4.0 GPA when you start playing them. Jane graduated and now has a job as a Technical Sales Rep. in a custom career (sharing an apartment with Dr. Ivy Copur). Just got to fnd her a decent mate for her LTW.

OMG!!! This new furious state Is SO KEWL!!!! I have this simmy called Jeff and he moved out of the house he was sharing and like the simmy who still lived there totally spazzed with him and had like 3 crossed-out lightning bolts and he had like -100/-100 with her (I think she is an unpopularity sim or something) and when he tried to go back to her lot to bitch-slap her he couldn't because she had accidently deleted the portal or something and the evil nanny was cheering him on and throwing bags of poo or putting hate mail in her mail box or something and then this other simmy who still lives at the first lot came over and started shoving everyone!!!!11
My Simmys are just like so cute!!!

I'm guessing Brynne's party had 30 guests and only 1 toilet. Am I right?  Grin
