I actually wonder why this thread warrant such snide remarks from people who seem to only have a vendetta against the world. I installed it myself, thank you very much.

Having looked through both of your backgrounds, I understand you probably have a thing against everyone here. So why don't you keep your opinions to yourself and instead do some good to the world by being either silent or, if it wouldn't be too much to ask from what little exists within your bodies, a little bit of help.

Awesomemod told me it expired so like anyone else I went to the website and downloaded the new file. Except that it isn't new. After replacing the file, the computer again told me it was old.

I looked at the last modified date of awesomemod.package from the zips that downloaded from this site and it is May 9th. I tried all three mirrors and they are the same.

Please update the zips to the latest Awesomemod?

Please move to 64bit OS, 32bit can cause corrupt saves and CTD due to 2GB memory limit per process. Sims 3 uses alot of memory.
Would making the appropriate Sims 3 executable (TS3W.exe?) Large Address Aware suffice as a workaround?

tried that too and it didn't work

when the game CTD it's only using 600MB, and my total memory usage of the entire computer was only at 1.6GB, not even close to 3GB. CPU was running at 50%, distributed between core 0 and core 1...
I have a feeling it's something to do with the new display driver update. Don't know why though :/
Despite what game developers tend to advise, the newest display drivers aren't always best.  Some graphics cards are more suited to certain driver versions, and some programs work better with certain driver versions...and sometimes, there is no overlap between what your card wants and what the program in question wants.

damn... anyone else have any suggestions? ~especially regarding the character traits and skills?

I'm SERIOUSLY so damn pissed!! I don't GET it, it seems like playing sims 3 require a sort of finesse that can be compared to running a damn nuclear reactor!

I've updated all my sims 3 games to the most updated version and updated awesomemod as well, with all EPs and SPs installed.

I've have been encountering the Error 12, the "no traits" displayed and the lost of skills in some of my characters.

Then i've updated my display card driver to the most updated one (275.33). Afterwards my loading screen became a mess and some of the options can't even be displayed. Ok, screw that so I went ahead and started a saved game and now in the middle of loading it, it CTDed.

Can any god here help me? Please??

Win 7 32 bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 at 2.9GHz
nVidia GTS 250
3GB RAM
A LOT of free HD space
Sims 3 base with ALL SPs and EPs.

Yes I do have CCs and ONLY CC (like furniture only, no mods, no hacks...etc). I've tried removing those temporarily and "downloaded" store contents, cleared the cache, used the decrapify, used the dashboard (the most updated version too), and no luck.

I've JUST finished building darn lot!  Cry

Yup I did, I found some packages that were broken and fixed that, but I'm not sure if that did any good after I found out the lot was grey.... Undecided
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Grey Lot Problem on: 2010 December 27, 14:16:18
I have been building this home in the new neighbourhood from Late Night and didn't encounter a problem until my last save. After I restarted the game, the lot where I am building on is grey. When I go into build/buy mode, it transfers me to another lot. I've tried to use the .backup save but that didn't help. Is there a way for me to fix the saved game file?

I am using Windows 7, with all Sims 3 EP/SP, fully updated with awesomemod.
I have store contents and custom contents (objects & CAS only). No other hacks.

Nope, didn't add any new CC. Didn't touch anything except update Sims and Awesomemod.

Uh-oh.

It is taking forever to switch between Live Mode and Buy/Build Mode.
Moreover, I'm experiencing CTD when going to the "basement building" mode.
Anyone have this issue? I'm using Sims 3 with all EPs and Stuff Packs.
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 06, 08:20:12
I installed Awesome mod with no CC and the game is forever stuck at loading screen :/

I removed awesome mod and I can get to main menu before the game detects a faulty disc validation

I am able to use crack to play the game.

So..... in conclusion... something is wrong with the new awesome mod for me.

I'm using the Vitality version btw.
