Sorry for reviving the thread but what's up with the Booty? Are those randos posting to phorum really taking it over or are they just talking shit? Huh
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Booty on: 2018 March 25, 19:38:00
Sorry to resurrect this but booty appears to be down again.

All(?) Sims 2 patches are posted here at MTS.

Is there any update on this? Booty seems to be still down or at least I can't reach it through any of my bookmarks.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Paysites Must Be Destroyed destroyed? on: 2016 June 18, 06:33:28
Seems to work now, thanks for looking into it. Out of curiosity, what was the matter with it? Is the same thing affecting wickednouk and graveyard sites too as they're also down and I think they are also both hosted by Pescado?

Forgive me for the necromancy but since Booty seems to be down again is it again just server maintenance or something else this time?

I sadly can't donate at the moment but would like to know how things are coming around? How much more is still needed?
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: did Paysites must be destroyed have to close down due to funding? on: 2013 May 28, 23:38:43
Sorry to butt in but I'd like to know too if anybody knows anything about either site? I did search around and apparently the mustbedestroyed.org domain expired 26th day but it also was renewed the same day so I think the domain should be usable again by now. (though that said I have never owned a domain so it's not like I actually know how those things work) However no booty, simscave or even Coco's blog works and phorum is down too. Should I start worrying?
9  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 November 04, 02:06:24
With the 1.42 patch and no other content except for the test Awesome mod (which I download just before opening the game) and its config file game immediately crashes in CAS when you click the change traits button when creating a sim. I tried both creating a new sim in existing and new world just to check that it wasn't just a neighborhood gone bad but in both the second you touch the change traits button the game simply crashes to desktop. Without awesome mod you can choose traits just fine, though there is a short pause before the panel pops up. Randomizing the traits worked just fine also. I still have to test if it happens without the config file too, but I'll edit that info here then.

does spawnnewoverlords still work with the new version, i cant find/get it working
How about typing "help" into cheat console to see how it's written there OR using the search for word "overlords" on this very board.  Roll Eyes And yes it does work if you just type it correctly.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: "Log" and Region issues. on: 2010 July 09, 21:46:07
Shouldn't they be 2, 2, 1 and 1? I don't know your region, but I have base game region 2, World Adventures was 2 also, for HELS there was only patches for region 1 and 17 (it auto with 1 for me) and 'cause my Sims 3 is installed on my other computer I can't check, but I kinda guess Ambitions only comes with region 1 patch too, as when I tried those direct links posted in other topic and replaced the region number 1 with 2 it just gave me file not found error. So my guess is that they got lazy about doing different patches for different regions and just made one version for all or something.
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Deleting the Awesome Mod?! on: 2010 June 01, 21:19:03
Try to decide now, do you wanna keep it or delete it?

If you want to keep it then you either 1. don't install new EP and patches till there is new compatible awesome mod available or 2. Install patches/EP and wait till there is compatible Awesome mod. It doesn't "ruin" your saved games but since the mod allows things you normally couldn't do in your game the save data is different than if you had played it without Awesome mod. I'm pretty sure somewhere here it said "once you use awesome mod there is no turning back without exploding your game" or something.

You know what? I suck at explaining. Somebody who knows what they're talking about please do explain :/

I'm not an expert but if you want to use awesome mod, then just wait couple of days till it gets updated. You can manage without playing that long right?

If you really wanna get rid of it you can try deleting ScriptCache file from (my) documents-> Electronic arts-> Sims 3 folder and see if that clears it. Also make sure you don't have any copy of Awesome mod hiding somewhere, do a good search in Program Files->Electronic arts-> Sims 3 folder and if you have other expansion/stuff packs check their folders too to be sure. You probably will have to start new save file though. :\

Erm, hi I'm new, lurked for years and finally registered, please don't throw rocks at me, those hurt. *hides*
