1  TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sims 4 Annoyance & Problem Thread. on: 2014 September 11, 15:42:19
The only problem I'm having so far is no family trees  Cry . And the fact that family relationships are restricted to "basics": mother, son, wife, grandfather... No step-family at all, and once someone is gone in the afterlife... He's gone forever, no reminder of him whether it be in a cemetery or a family tree.

Like decrapifying?

It's part of the Contemporary Comfort Living.

I thought I read somewhere that they're capable of running away. If nothing else perhaps you can get rid of them that way.
Maybe if you build a bad relationship with them... Though I haven't tried it.

I am enjoying the EP so far, but I do find the imaginary friends to be a bit annoying after a while, I played two of them and after that stopped letting my kids play with them. I wish they were deletable.
I always sent them to clean up the house... I found them useful this way.

Anyone got the original TSLHost.dll file? Forgot to back mine up (Embarrassed), so now I can't update my game, and the Reloaded version keeps crashing on me.
If you happen to find it, can you contact me? I need it too!!

When I try to patch it, it says that some files are missing...  Undecided

Can someone update the first two posts of the Downloads thread? The last update was in March.

You're not sorry and you couldn't have looked very hard. Where did you find these store items? Look there for your answer.

When I "install" the content, it always shows me a success message, but once I play the game, the items aren't there. I don't know if that helps my sorry case at all. And I am sorry for the n00b question, as you "elitists" are too busy for less intelligent people who need genuine help. I did state that I looked for an answer, and I have been looking for a while. But hey, if I appear too stupid for you to help, then that's fine by me. I don't get why everyone has to be so rude when there are stupid people in need of help. I apologise for wasting your time. I didn't realise I was such a mindless idiot for asking for help when I needed it. :\

You probably need to "decrapify" the .Sims3Pack files you download from here. I don't remember where exactly in this forum are the instructions to decrapify stuff, anyway I use the TS3 Recompressor (also downloadable here). Try to look up for this stuff with the Search button.

i tried to install the decrapifier and a black screen popped up for a split second.. then it went away...  why is that??

It means it just decrapified your .Sims3Pack file... So that you can install it normally through the Launcher.

Nothing new shows up on the stereo.
There is a radio in the shape of a rock... It can be put in tables and counters...

The Jazz Age stuff is really nice, but man, that's one ugly-ass kitchen.  It looks like something Parsimonious would come up with after taking a hit of acid.
I never thought I'd ever agree with you, but, alas, the moment has come.

does anyone know where I could get the Mr. klaus santa hat the was on the Sims 3 store??  I can't find it anywhere Sad

Have you tried this thread? http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15100.0.html

I found one in that thread..  tried to install it and it says it's installed  BUT  when i go to "installed content" it's just a picture of a cube and i don't think it will install properly. Sad
Don't worry, it is installed right.

Thanks, now it is clear to me. Another question: do you know if it's possible to find the thumbnails associated with each .Sims3Pack? Are there in some file that ends up in the My-name folder or Program Files folders when you install them? I'm referring to the thumbnails that appear in the Launcher.
15  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 January 23, 20:53:48
Mh, ok nevermind I found the other thread with some information... Still can't understand why before I only needed to delete stuff from the folder...  Huh
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 January 23, 20:52:00
1) Are those the "DCBackup" and "DCCache" folders, or just one of them?
2) Does doing so remove them from the launcher and the game, or just one?

DCBackup is a waste of space, delete it regardless. DCCache has all the items you've installed via the launcher in it in a few large DBC files.
So what is the effect of deleting DCBackup and why is it there?
17  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 January 23, 20:43:51
But it did before! That's what I did if I wanted to delete something... Delete it from the folder, and it would disappear from the game...
18  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 January 23, 19:08:02
Does anyone know why, after I deleted ALL the .Sims3Packs from the Downloads folder, it still shows me some custom content in-game? How can I delete ALL of it? I wanted to reinstall everything 'cause I'm sure I'm missing something, but cannot do that if there are random custom stuff appearing in the game.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 21, 19:04:34
Yeah, I know, it's pretty messy...
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 21, 18:47:04
That item is only for Need For Speed World, not for The Sims 3. If you check the correct boxes on the left it will disappear from the list.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 11, 11:04:44
Anyway you could always uninstall both files and re-download.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 04, 20:08:23
I can upload the Moroccan set in a few minutes once Mediafire responds to my requests to access it.
For some reason though its file name is KingdomFashionSet.  Huh
Well there are a lots of things like that with namefiles!  Undecided
Moyrie, may I ask why you crossed the Animal Abounds Outdoors set in the post you edited?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 04, 20:01:23
The lamp was free about an hour ago. I assumed it still would be. Whatever.
Lol, EA changed idea!

Are those "moroccan" sofas just ported over from the sims 2?

It's not just the sofas, a lot of that set is just Sims 2 conversions.
True, also the lamps, if I'm not wrong. EDIT: The wall-lamp, the coffee table, and the door are conversions for sure.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 November 04, 18:03:09
I don't think so, I remember the Menorah from last year.

This item is not free, it's worth 25 simpoints, and is also included in the Morocco Mystique set that you posted above.

Do the .Sims3Packs actually load faster?
In my game and with my computer, which is two or three years old, .Sims3Packs load normally as the game would load... That is, they don't need more time to load or perhaps only a few seconds more, since I never noticed a difference.
