I believe it's Awesome Mod that stops the 'tidy non active houses every night' routine - would it be possible to turn it on again? At least for laundry? Whenever I visit anyone else in town, there's always piles of dirty laundry everywhere making all the sims unhappy and it would be really nice if it could all get deleted every evening...

It's creepy in the same way as first cousins marrying is.

I agree with you there: it's creepy if they've grown up together and have been siblings or pseudo-siblings, but just a bit unusual if they've met for the first time as adults or nearly adults. But I appreciate that AM is Pescado's mod and he doesn't want to do it.

Would it be possible, not interested, or too difficult to have an option to turn off aging in the vacation worlds while maintaining normal aging in the home world?

Isn't aging already turned off in vacation worlds by default?

When you are visiting the vacation world, it is. When you are back in the home world, it isn't. Even if TS2 Aging is enabled. Even if all sims in the vacation world have aging disabled when you look at their status and their age bar thing says 'Days to Age Up: Never'. THEY STILL AGE EVERY DAY AGING IS ON FOR ANYONE. It's really annoying and I'd really like to get rid of it.

Please Please Please! I've been trying all sorts of aging mods to see if they do this, and nothing will, even TS2 Aging option with AM lets sims in Vacation worlds age. Even adding them to the TS2 Aging would be easier, but I'd love this.

Is it possible for you to add an option to keep inactive (or only chosen inactive) sims from earning or spending money? Like the option for job performance?

Thanks very much.

I found a long list of instructions on the mts mac help forum for avoiding the bald hair, one of which (delete caches, start game, exit at main menu and restart without deleting caches again) seems to be working so far for me after 18 months of lovely no-baldness running without having to do anything. It was a bit frustrating when it turned up.

Thank you very much - I didn't know that area of MTS existed.

I have a feeling this is possible somehow and seem to remember reading about it - but I can't find any instructions about how it might be done. Could anyone please help me? I don't have the time or the ability to make a new world from scratch for my sims, but I want to make a 'forbidden city' in one of the worlds I've already got.

I had a similar issue to this, but going into buy/build mode as well as out of it, and it did eventually unfreeze. I discovered that the problem seemed to be the lot I'd downloaded had too many dandelions in the garden - once I deleted them all, it stopped happening.

First, thanks for making this. It's been really helpful.

I think there might be a bug in the 'suspend/resume aging of current household' command. The sims in that house showed up on the mirror as aging, but they didn't actually age. When I reset aging and tried again but clicking on 'resume my aging' for each member of the household, it worked as it should. Maybe it was something to do with my game, but I didn't change anything apart from on the mirror to get it to work correctly again.

Thanks again, and sorry if it was just me being stupid somehow.
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Permanently deleting unwanted sims on: 2010 April 18, 15:01:29
I am very sorry if this has already been discussed, but I haven't managed to find it.

I want to delete some of the local sims in Egypt. Permanently and completely so they don't count as sims in my neighbourhood and increase the number of sims there because I'm fairly sure there's a limit and anyway my computer runs the game better if there are fewer sims around.

What's the best way to do this? How can I make sure they're completely gone and don't still appear in relationship panels and things? If I Nuke them that just seems to remove them from the lot they're on then, and certainly doesn't completely remove them from existence. Will 'Remove from world (IRREVERSIBLE)' under the debuginteractions menu do it, or will there still be bits left behind? What about deleting them in edit town?

Many thanks for any help

(Sorry if this is the wrong section to put this in: I wasn't sure. I think some of the commands are part of AwesomeMod, but if this should have been in Facts and Strategy I'm very sorry)
