TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Black screens of no-response and demands to access servers...

I was playing my sims3, everything up to generations and town life - non vanilla. When pets came out my game stopped working and when I searched the boards at games4theworld they said to download pets and it would fix itself. That didn't happen and they have been having problems with getting the 'right' game out there ever since. So I went out and bought pets (cloud download) and no matter What I did the game would launch (w/o the launcher ofc.) and then it wouldn't respond at all. Just the start up black screen. I haven't found anything anywhere about that, so I took off all my mods and everything in the DCBbackup and still nothing budged. Eventually I gave up and installed Win7 (from Vista) - now starting from scratch. I have Base, WA, NL, and Pets all vanilla, w/o gen. or any of the stuff packs installed as of yet (they are not vanilla) and I am still having the same problem. Now all my vanilla games are demanding to talk to their servers to make sure my game is legit. First off, how do I get it to stfu and leave me alone (my game is legit so far) if I am not plugged into the net the game wont even get me to the black screen. Second, how do I even get the game to play? I have tried the 3booter and it didn't help.
My beautiful plans of having less work and less hassle with all vanilla games was of course a inevitable failure with anything EAxis has touched.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.22/2.16/3.12/4.9/5.7/6.4/7.2/8.0

Problem:
I have the cracks on everything Up to Night Life and stuff packs. I do not have generations, but patched to 1.22. Now I get through the launcher and to the neighborhood chooser and it claims there is "no disc for outdoor living." Everything was just fine, nothing new, until I got the patch; now the game will not work. At first it was claiming "no disc" at the launcher and I reinstated the cracks again, thinking it had changed them or deleted them. This got me to the neighborhood chooser, now I can't get past it. I have removed all the caches to no avail; as well as my mods and other .packages, but it wont budge. (Of course I have not Deleted anything, just moved it to another folder on my desktop).
So where have I screwed up and how do I fix it?

I'm really sorry to be a bother, but I can't seem to get your beautiful world to work. This would be the first world I've downloaded and installed, other than the two by EA. I have the base game, and the patch up to 1.8 (the new patches say there is an error and refuse to install from EA). I have been transferring all other CC (hair, free store items etc.) items to .dbc format, which has been working pretty well so far for by passing the launcher (s3pe and the multi installer). But some how I can't get this thing to work. It shows up as an option in my game, and loads for bit when I try to start playing with it - then the game crashes. I have moved the .world file to C:/....Game Data/Shared/Non Packaged/ Worlds with riverview but it isn't working there either. Sorry again to be annoying - I've scanned every form I can think of, and google just keep spitting World Adventures at me - which I don't have.
Yes, I did just click on the file after getting it out of the .rar file - and went through the launcher to load it. If I need to convert it also to .dbc, just point me in the direction of how to do it.
