As you can see I have the same problem. He also does not have a first name.
I have the AwesomeMod as well as a few other mods and my game is patched.

2  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Annoying BV Glitch on: 2007 September 16, 14:13:32
I've been having a really annoying BV glitch.  Angry
I sent my sim Josslyn on vacation. Everything was fine and dandy for a while. Then, I sent her to a community lot.
At the community lot she attended all three tours. A few sim hours later the game decided that there were no playable characters on the lot. This has happened on two occasions after going on all three tours while on a community lot.
The first time it happened she had invited a guest over, the second time around she was on vacation by herself. Is there a fix for this? What may be causing it?

Btw, the girl in the gray dress is my sim. Notice how the play option is grayed out?  Sad

Huh...and I was freaking out about having 194 Sims. Guess I don't have to worry much!

The actual sims show the old eyes.

You might also want to try Delphy's Download Organizer from MTS2

Thanks! I'll give it a try!

Edit: It worked! I used the organizer and found the files, which I promptly deleted. Then, I put in the new defaults and voila! Thanks so much!  Cheesy Yay!

Hmm. Try letting the game regenerate the "The Sims 2" folder.

By this you mean deleting that folder entirely and then running the game? Btw, thanks so much, any suggestion is major help.
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Regarding Custom Default Eyes on: 2007 July 24, 02:34:42
I have a set of Seomi default eyes that I use to replace the ugly Maxis eyes. I've been using them for a long time, so I decided it was time for a change. I surfed MTS2 and found some beautiful new default eyes made by Barcelonista.

My Problem:

I deleted the Seomi default eyes and replaced them with Barcelonista's. However, the sims in my game still have the Seomi default eyes. I assumed it was a problem with Barcelonista's defaults so I downloaded and tested other defaults but the same thing happens. My sims still have the old defaults!

I've read old topics here on MATY regarding default eyes and I've also searched on MTS2, but I can't seem to find out what's wrong!
I've had my sims go to the mirror and I've checked on CAS, but to no avail! It seems the old defaults will prevail!  Cry

I've emptied out my downloads folder numerous times, just in case the old defaults were still there.

What the frickety frack am I doing wrong? Am I making sense? Any suggestions, comments and/or poking with sticks will be much appreciated. I am at your mercy.  Smiley

What about if you have pets? I'm sure there will be a lot of bugs dealing with pets. For example: You take Fifi the poodle along for the trip. You come back home and Fifi is gone.

I'm pretty sure pets will get stuck on vacation lots. Poor Fifi.  Undecided

LoL, alrighty then.  Cheesy
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Screenshot Webentry on: 2006 December 29, 23:23:40
When I view the screenshots I've taken in the Sims 2, I've noticed that there are some files called webentry with some random numbers after it. For example: webentry_00000006. Can I delete these files or are they important? There used to be about 3 of these, but more of them are appearing after I move the screenshots to separate folders.  Huh
10  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Is this trying to tell me I have a bad graphics card? on: 2006 December 28, 01:59:51
The same thing happens to me randomly.

Operating System - Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
System Memory -  512.5
Processor Speed - 2127.8
Display Device - NVIDIA GeForce 6200
Display Memory - 512.0
Processor - AMD AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2600+ 2127.8 Mhz

Any idea what it can be? It hasn't happened for a while, but it'd be nice to know if it's my graphics card.
11  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: i wish i hadnt deleted a neighbourhood but i did... on: 2006 December 28, 01:37:18
Is it safe to delete a neighborhood? I've heard it's bad to delete sims, so I'm wondering if the same goes for neighborhoods.

It worked! I loaded the house and lo and behold there she was!  Grin Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all of your help!

Cool, thanks I'll try that!  Smiley

I don't have Insim...
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Accidental Burnination on: 2006 December 21, 14:57:56
Okay, I tried teleporting Alexis back to the house using the mailbox and it worked! However...http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y103/Strawberry_flavurd/snapshot_1114a7e1_7295d407.jpg
As you can see she came back, but she was stuck in a sitting position smack in front of the mailbox. Now I had a new problem, my sims could not pay the bills. So I, the "genius" that I am, used moveobjects to move her away from the mailbox. She was now stuck in a sitting poition somewhere else (she would occasionally move her head, btw). Then, I remembered I had a nifty tool called the Stuck Object Remover. Bing Bing Bing! I used it where she was thinking it would work. When I got back into play mode I got a message...

"Alexis has been burninated!"  Shocked

Yeah, she was gone. I unknowingly "burninated" Alexis.  Undecided
My new question:

Is there any way I can get her back from this "burninated" state? Or should I just forget about her and move on?

16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My Sim Won't Come Back on: 2006 December 16, 22:28:59
Hmm...

Well, in the phone book when I chose Transportation it had an option to go "Home" and it had a picture of a limo. I clicked on it and it said that the limo would arrive in a bit to pick up my sim. The limo came, Alexis got inside, and it took her to "Go Somewhere." I assumed it was like the "Take a Spin" option. The thing is that I left the lot and came back hoping my sim would be there. After a few sim seconds, the limo came to drop her off, but she never got out of the limo. The limo then left with Alexis still inside. I have tried the Lot Debugger and it didn't work. I really can't think of any hacks I might have downloaded that would cause this. I could have sworn the "Home" option was a new feature for Show Business career.  Undecided

I'll try the mail box thing once I restart my game. Thanks a bunch!  Smiley
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / My Sim Won't Come Back on: 2006 December 16, 20:51:52
The Problem:

My sim, Alexis, is in the Show Business Career, however the Limo refuses to pick her up and take her to work. So, in order to get her out of my hair I had her call the Limo to "Go Somewhere." Well, she went...and now she won't come back. She's been gone for 4 days and no matter what I do I can't get the Limo to bring her back! I exited the queue, but that didn't work. Is there anything I can do?
I am really against moving them out of the house and if that's the only way, well then I guess she'll just have to be gone...forever.

It worked! The bouncin' baby boy has green eyes and brown hair. Grin
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sim Genetics on: 2006 July 14, 23:02:37
That's precisely what I had been doing before to see if the eye color would change, but alas it didn't. Hehe.  Cheesy

Wow, that was quick!

Thanks, I appreciate it!   Grin

Smiley Hi, I've been lurking this site for a while, reading and enjoying most of the threads and I thought maybe you can help me out?

I have this Sim family.

Charles (the husband), has brown eyes and black hair.

Judith (the wife), has green eyes and brown hair.

They have two children. The eldest has brown hair and brown eyes and the middle child has black hair and brown eyes.

I know that brown is a dominant eye color, but I can't help but want Judith's new baby to have green eyes.

So, this is my question.

Is there any way that I can change Charles's genetics to enable him to give green eyes to his future children while keeping his brown eyes?

If so, how?

Thanks so much!
