I just want them to stop carrying their plates all over the fucking house so they can chat with Uncle Bob while they eat. Is it too much to ask for them to just eat at the fucking table!?
As a part of multitasking, queuing them to sit at a particular place while holding a plate will make them eat there. Though you'd think after 14 years they'd programme sims smart enough to sit at one damn table.

I've noticed in my game some new objects don't work. As in, when I direct my sim to use them the action is either ignored, or they randomly teleport away from the object. The main suspects are the trampoline, inventing workbench and the sculpturing station.
Anyone else have/had this problem? It's a real bitch when I want to do something new in my game.

Torrenting sucks balls. Which is why some amazing bastard has supplied everyone with a direct download. No parts, no file hosts, just a straight link. Works in any download accelerator, though I managed to only get ~300kb/s, but it's better than 0.3 kb/s. It's the Vitality .iso as well, and I can confirm that it works perfectly. Only catch is you have to unrar a few times. You can also replace the one you're torrenting with the finished file and seed it.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / HELS Original TSLhost.dll (3.1.7)?
|

Hey guys, Does anyone have a copy of the original TSlHost.dll file from High End Loft Stuff version 3.1.7? Very much needed as mine has become " corrupted" and my back-up has vanished off my hard drive. Scoured all over the net and can't find it anywhere. Would be very much appreciated!

I'm really annoyed that JM is forcing us to patch up to use AM. For the love of heavy machinery, please leave a link somewhere with the old versions of AM. You could throw them on your MTS account or something.
Are they cupping your balls, Pescado? Why are you sleeping with the enemy?
There is a good reason that JM is only supplying one version and it has nothing to do with "sleeping with the enemy". It's almost impossible for one person to support multiple versions of a core mod like AwesomeMod. If he gives people access to older versions, he'll get lots more outdated bug reports and requests for new features that have already been implemented in the newest version and demands for removal of the expiry date. Why would he want that kind of hassle? If I could think of a good solution to these problems, I'd be willing to upload (unsupported) older versions for every patch level. He could do what I've seen on other sites: Have an "Unsupported Obsolete Versions" subsection underneath the Awesomemod board, with the last version of AM for each patch level. In addition, on loading an obsolete version, instead of the Flagrant System Error that tells you you can't use AwesomeMod there could be a, just as big box saying, "You are running an obsolete version of Awesomemod. DO NOT ASK for support at the site or we will just laugh at you!" Note that just placing versions in an obsolete section usually is enough in itself to keep people from asking for support; it prevents it, for example, at NRaas. But add in a very obnoxious pop-up when they begin and the meanness with which people asking for help with obsolete versions would meet with here, and I really think there would be at worst minimal disruption from people expecting support. Meh, his creation, his decision.

Again, the ARR'd copy is just the disk image of a DVD, always going to be 4.7 gb in size. EA just used a DVD when they probably could've used a CD. Of course, they're more flimsy and kind of out of date. The disk could also be bloated with old patches, as well.
A copy I found was about 1GB to download, and the directory for the stuffpack itself only takes up 266mb. Not sure if my .package files load or not, I gave up after 1 minute of loading, new patch/stuffpack has really screwed me over.

I mean, you don't seriously think I'm dumb enough to pay Apple premium prices for a machine that is physically the same as a PC, do you? Actually, all current Macs (except for the currently non-shipping $3000 27" model) all use laptop grade processors and the low end GPUs. But hey, at least you get the "joy" of OSX.

P.S. I'd like the next EP to be based on SUPERSTAR!
I honestly do miss Superstar. Just being better than everyone else in the Sim world made me feel good in the real world. I wouldn't mind that being remade. I just hope that if they do an animals expansion pack they 1. Give it a decent title and 2. Don't make it a waste of a good concept.

Is this something that everyone is experiencing, and if so is there a way to get the plumbob icon to appear?
No, I've been converting store stuff to packages since a while back. The icons disappear when you do this for some reason. I've noticed non-store items installed via the Launcher have the icon. Maybe the icon is supposed to mean custom content rather than store items?
