I installed the new version of AM and I still get a lot of CTD's. I've reinstalled my game and try again but it produces the same results. Every time I delete the scriptcache.package it reappears again. I realize this happens when the game crashes after about a minute or two of gameplay. I think I installed AM into the right path- I did it manually first and then I used the Sims3FrameWorkAM1.5. I also changed my DEP and forced the LAA. I also think my resource file is written correctly but there's so much that could be wrong that I honestly don't know where my problem is coming from. I'm truly sorry that I don't know what I'm doing- I try to figure it out but I fail every time. I just need help with this.

Yes, I tried the Create a Pattern tool and although I'm not a creator I was very disappointed with it as well. I thought I could short cut stuff so I had an immediate idea for a custom design. I went into photoshop and cut one of my images into several layers, leaving the background blank for transparency. Then I realized that the Create-A-Pattern tool doesn't allow any images to be used other than .jpeg or .bmp which meant that I couldn't use the transparency features that .gif or .png allows which meant that the tool wasn't as nice as I thought it'd be. Maybe I expected too much, I don't know.

I still decided to give it a chance but as I started playing with the shapes that the tool gave me, it wasn't really helping me with moving layers around, changing colors and allowing for modifications- so I gave up and uninstalled it unsatisfied.

What did I expect from this tool? Maybe to be more like any rudimentary photo modifying editor that would allow for custom images to be quickly made into patterns so that it would be able to transfer to the game. I expected a selection tool, paint bucket, paintbrush, copy and paste- simple things like that. But again, maybe I expected too much.

Claeric- I have noticed that too. The amount of time it takes for my CC to actualy show up in the game is VERY LITTLE to none and  gameplay is fast and wonderful. Its very quick and looks beautiful in game- but shoud I be waiting 7 minutes to play my neighborhood? I think that is just a ridiculous amount of time.

After noticing everything went all haywire, such as the romantic socials everyone was mentioning, I just removed AM and tried several different solutions. So now I just reinstalled my game, along with Ambitions. It works beautifully during gameplay (the bright green color is back! yay!)but..

Does anyone have the problem where if they put all of their CC in the documents path the load for the neighborhood takes considerably LONG (takes 7 minutes to load my family)?? Did anyone come across that? And if anyone knows if something is wrong can they help me (and no, AM isn't in my CC batch yet).

Hi- I'm new here (but I've been following a lot of these posts since the Sims3 came out)...

Um, I just reinstalled the game after having a fatal crash after installing the 1.7 patch. So I just want to know the consensus...which patch is OK to install??? (I think my 1.3 & 1.4 was working with it but I forgot because it was so long ago).

And I'm about to go get the World Adventures EP so I was wondering - should I hold off on installing that until some miracle mod shows up for that as well or what?

I just need some advice.
