So, a "full patch" is actually NOT a full patch, b/c it only updates either BG or EPs/SPs. Why are we calling it full patch then?

Ok, presumption #1 - My BG and AMB are region 2, HELS and WA region 1.
Presumption #2 - a "full patch" (the one that`s about 500 MB in size) patches EVERYTHING (base game, EPs and SPs).

Conclusion - there could be some issues with patching, b/c there is a region 1 full patch to d/l, as there is region 2 full patch to d/l. Now you tell me - which one would you pick?

Getting mine from irfree.com, however #4 zip file downloads and then I get an error message, something about source file not being read properly. Anybody else encountered this problem? I really hope it`s just a system glitch on my behalf. :/

Me explaining to you why it is the way it is would be...ugh, too long. Short version -

- I don`t have a fixed phone line (using a cell phone for all my...affairs?)
- I live in a former commie country where you pay MORE and get LESS
- They can haz my interwebz

And in other news - Jonha`s slider hack is no longer supported by this patch version and will need an update (that`s why I was getting an "unsupported content" message), and it would seem I d/l a wrong version of beta AM, b/c my game is spitting it out too. Yes, I`m made of that much fail. And not a fuck was given that day.

Oh yea, and - vehicle enthusiast? Like, WTF?! XD Naming your car would be just as lame as guys naming their penises. And I for one know Mr. Pinky agrees.

And thanks to that patch downloader, it would seem I`m made of FAIL - it d/l and installed latest patches, and now I`m getting an error message each time I start the game, even though I do have an option to continue the game, and it seems to work. Why did it download and install a wrong version of a patch, if it`s able to detect the region number? All though, it would seem the right version was downloaded after all (by looking at previous patches I applied). Usual method applied (removed all mods and CC, cleared cache files, the whole thing).

Meh, whatever. I`ll do a reinstall later. I just don`t give a fuck right now.

This whole patching thing is  really starting to get ridiculous. 1 patch = approx. 35 MB. Times 4 (for EP`s, SP and base game) - approx 140 MB. I wonder what will happen when they cough out more EPs...easily 1 GB of your internet bandwidth spent on patches alone. God dammit, EA. God dammit!

Did you recently add some new CC? 9 times out of 10 that turns out to be the issue :/

I already installed it once with this particular .iso, now that I`m doing a reinstall, that file is missing. Like, WTF, right? I didn`t poke at it at all! And since I`m on a limited internet bandwidth (10GB/month), d/l a new 4.6 GB heavy .iso for just that one small missing file seems kinda redundant :/

I know, necromancy is not cute, tits or GTFO, I know. I just have one thing to ask. I will not even try to get into details about patching with this latest stupid patch, but trust me when I say - X.x Long story short - could somebody please be so kind to upload the TSHost.dll file from the Ambitions CD (not the one you have on your HD - that one is probably already patched, so I`d have no use for it). My .iso image of AMB somehow mysteriously lost it, and now I can`t install it, and b/c I can`t install it, I can`t patch and...well, you know. We all got the same mind fuck from EA...

So, if anyone is reading this and has 2 minutes of spare time...yea. I`d appreciate the shit out of that.

Consider yourselves happy, people. I can`t even patch. I`m getting an "invalid file found" crap every single fucking time. -_-

 Fun facts - I`m doing a manual installation, AMB, HELS and WA patched w/o any problems, and I`m not using cracked .exe or .dll files (AM is just fine, thankyouverymuch). Never had patching issues before (as in - never), so where the hell is this patch pulling that invalid file from? And it`s so fast, I can`t even SEE which file it`s referring to. I just might uninstall this game and leave it like that. More free space on my HDD, less nervous breakdowns.

Ditto. Also - it grays out when switching between households (sometimes), and deFinder reported the same issue. Mods aside - AMB borkage?

Note to self - test choppers. It would seem that families who have one get their funds reset to 0 after restarting the game. Must test it.
