Framework files are all in place Sad This happened after i put in the test AM... could it be something else?

ALL my CC is not working. Thats over 300 files of clothes, hairstyles, hacks etc

I recently reinstalled Sims, WA and loft stuff. I played for a while without AM cos i couldnt be stuffed getting it to work, CC was working fine.

I installed AM today with all the framework files. When i played using the AM i got from the main page http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15185.0.html that warning came up with non-critical core mismatch. I ignored it and went ahead to 'editsim', although in the CAS i couldnt save, exit, go to main menu etc.

So i searched around a few threads and got that test AM (updated 23/3/10). No warning, loaded fine. However, when i unpaused my game - 2 sims were already at work when i saved - the 2 sims immediately stopped working, one appeared at home, having been teleported from the science centre, with a default EA hairdo.

Since installing AM my non-ea CC has stopped working. How do i get my CC and 'editsim' to work properly?

I dont even have world adventures.

I went through my mods and found one which was screwing up my interactions. Interactions between sims now work.

And wow i find that surprising World adventures and WA never clicked >_>

Although i dont really see how not knowing what WA stood for deemed me too stupid to use mods.

I have 1.7 with AM and just deleted indiestone. I have no camera mods. I have some game mods like 'no party max guest list', do i have to get rid of them?

What is WA? And how do i fix up the framework?

Ok I kind of figured that my saves were screwed but how do i fix up all the lighting and interaction bugs?

What AddOn?

And yes, you wouldnt believe how much i searched around. The technical talk is abit hard to understand.

So before the new patch and new AM file my game was working perfectly.

Unknowingly, i dled the new sims patch and AM would not work with, sims kept CTD at start up loading. So i looked it up, yeah still in beta, ok. So i reinstalled my game and patched it up to 1.46 and dled AM again. Same problem. So i tried playing without AM. It was weird - shiny objects, sims couldnt interact, sims were missing and my family were alot younger. (much the same effects as what is happening now)

My problem now - I dled 1.79 & AM again and now my game is permanently stuffed up.

Main differences and problems;
1. Seems like my save got corrupted or something. The children had all been adults with the youngest as a teen for at least 5 saves. For some reason it was like i never saved at all, 3 weeks ago.
2. The lighting is really weird. In game its quite bright and some white/shiny objects glow and reflect light.
3. Sims cannot interact with neighbours at all.
4. Only 2 options appear when interacting with family members: dance and mean
5. Beginning save file photo is off centre.
6. Interacting with bed gives 2 more options: bedrelax and enterrelaxing
7. Neighbourhood tasks are bright yellow

I had just a minor issue that pops up back and forth. In CAS when creating a sim the new eyeliners from WA were not available but when I finished creating her and moved her into a new home and used Editsim they showed up. My AM is labeled 11/23/2009 17:39:01 and my Sims game is version 2.2.8.002001

My CAS settings are :      
Uses AwesomeMod CASRel Rules : Disabled

NoAdultCASRequirement :Disabled      

CASSliderScaleIncreased : Enabled      

Increases range of CAS facial sliders by :2

DisableTraitCaps : Enabled      

BetterGeneticSkinBlend : Enabled      

NoSmilingInCAS : Disabled   

CustomSimFilterIsDefault : Disabled      

NoDuplicateNames : Enabled      

RandomizeSpawnedVoices : Enabled   

DresserEditCareerOutfit: Disabled

When I used the AM file as is before configuring I did not have this problem so I'd assume one of the values I changed from default has something to do with this.

(Edit) I went back into Editsim to alter some facial features and the Liners were gone again it seems something randomly conflicts with those new liners, I did not ever have this problem without AM. I bought the game when it came out and started form scratch to test everything out and had created 8 sims without AM installed. I am just getting this problem now. I have a few custom Sims and the Ear Sliders but as I said there was never a problem with the liners disappearing from CAS before. I did have a sim lose her liner in game once so it could be an EA issue. Another odd thing I noticed but can live with is that it seems like my dishes Glow now:

I got that glow too, with everything that was white, shiny or reflective, except this was without AM and with the newest sims patch. o.O

I just reinstalled my game and updated patches to only 1.4.6. Seems new awesomemod file doesnt work with it either. wth i cant even play on 1.4.6 let alone 1.7 using the new awesomemod file.

EDIT: Hmm i just googled it. Doesnt awesomemod work with the newest patch?

My game has started to always crash at the loading screen, when the loading bar is 95%, after downloading the newest awesomemod file and the new sims 3 patch. Is the awesomemod or the new patch causing this problem?

I got rid of my CC and tested it out, it worked fine and i narrowed it down to awesomemod. My game doesnt crash and works without the awesomemod file.

This CTD at the loading screen, is it the "Old Car Syndrome" crash or something else?

And if so, will the next version of awesomemod work on my game or is it doomed permanently?

My game has always worked fine with awesomemod before this incident, just the few random crashes here and there, nothing too consistent. And i dont have the new expansion pack.

Oh yeah, when i played without awesomemod my game was pretty weird.
1. Lots of sims were missing from the relationship page of my sims.
2. Everything was pretty shiny and weirdly reflective.
3. Graphics were strange and not as detailed as before.... everything was really smooth and kinda blurry.
4. One of my sims was unable to interact with another, the only options were 'dance together' and be 'mean'
Although im sure lots of other stuff were abnormal i exited and didnt bother seeing what else was wrong.

Well everynow and then i see some purple car tags but theres usually some permanent ones parked at the gym or shops.

What is causing this and how could i get rid of the tags?

Ever since i got awesomemod/indie stone the vehicles in neighborhood view appear tagged.

Im thinking this may have been caused by awesomemod, at first i had the option of 'Track All Moving Cars' enabled but that was annoying so i disabled it. Ever since it was disabled now only the stationary cars are tagged.

Is there any way i can get rid of this?
