EA's just patching us up the wazoo all of a sudden. I'm sticking with 1.29 until the dust settles.

I am not letting this crap anywhere near my game until AM and my NRaas mods are updated. I refuse to have the borkination of crappy vanilla EA.

Twallan's already updating his mods. Here's the status on his site:  http://nraas.wikispaces.com/State+of+the+Mod
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 October 11, 07:13:37
Hey guys I need help.  I don't post a lot so sorry if I'm offending anyone with stupid questions and all that.

Got the latest and greatest store items, ran them thru the decrapifier and s3rc.  I install them as sims3pack and my launcher says they're installed.  They show up in the installed content.  I fire up the game and nothing shows up.  I quit the game and check installed content and it's not installed so I install it agian and go thru the whole schlamiel and same results.  I've converted them to .package file and still won't show up in my game.  So... what more can I do.

And before you ask... yes my game is patched to the latest and greatest.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks and again apologies for asking newb/stupid questions.

Here try this, the same decrap that is out there, put in a folder put unmodified sim3pack into it then click on batch, it willd do automatic and then place in download. this has worked for me.

Perfect!!  Thanks so much for the help.  BTW, it didn't put the sims3packs for me in my Downloads folder but hey... it worked.  Thanks so much Wink

5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Where to find GOOD custom worlds? on: 2010 September 17, 17:41:56
Any custom worlds out there with a suburban feel? Sunset Valley isn't too suburban feeling (road layout kinda messes with that feel), riverview feels like a little town, and most custom worlds I've tried are pretty sprawling. I'm hoping there's something out there with at least one tight little area with a few blocks of homes, maybe a cul de sac. Just lots of lots really close together.

I'm looking for the same thing in a small - medium world and so far, I'm not finding anything I like.  Anyone have something like this they know about?  I'd appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.  I've seen the ones on the BBS and nothing's perked my interest.  I'm not running hacks of any kind just CC.  Thanks Smiley

Does the creepy doll only show up when you download lots or is it anything you download from TSR?
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Asherton, a neighborhood you can play with: The unpopulated version on: 2010 February 21, 20:23:31
Looks like my type of hood.  I haven't had a go a CAW yet.  I just did a 3rd clean install of my game with patches and got it going without the lag and all the problems it had before.  I've finally got all the CC I need in it and Riverview too and it's running well.  One day I'll be brave enough to try CAW but for now, this new hood looks fabulous.  Thanks so much for sharing.  I'm downloading it now!!
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Nude Replacement Skin for Sims 3 (Now Downloadable) on: 2009 December 05, 19:35:35
Quick question please - is this compatible with the 1.7 patch and with World Adventures?  I don't have WA yet but I do have the 1.7 patch.  I need new skins and I hate the EA skins.  Can I safely use this?   Also, will these turn up nude in my game?  I don't have the depixilator or whatever the thing is called.

Fabulous!!  Thanks so much for fixing this.  Will this overwrite the original or should I take out the original and replace it with this version?
