Was spawnmoreoverlords removed at some point? I'd like to populate this empty neighborhood without installing Twallan SP or spending ages in and out of CAS, but the game keeps insisting there's no such code. I've tried it with testingcheats on and with AwesomeDebug on, no dice.
Disregard this comment. Even after years I'm still the kind of noob who manages to enable the wrong freaking debug. Overlords successfully spawned, though roughly half of them had the same last name ("Peasant") which is strange.

I've noticed the "bloated Buy Mode" issue too, although CAS looks normal. (I use MasterController's compact mode for CAS, so maybe it's hiding the extras?) Swing sets show up as multiple parts in the catalog, though they appear to place normally no matter which piece you select.

Okay, search has failed me.
Can inactive (non-Chosen) famblies adopt pets on their own when Awesomestory is active? Does this require pet supplies on the lot, as per the crib/bed requirements for human spawning? After a couple in-game weeks or so in one of my saves, the only dog I ever saw around besides the strays was the one belonging to my active Sim.

If your Launcher is allowed to connect to the interwebs it will offer to generate one for you, too. Even without Origin, surprisingly. However, I'm having trouble with it. I have a mix of packages (most things) and sims3pack (neighborhoods, counters), all decrapped as CCMagic and the Launcher don't handle undecrapified Store shit. So I decrapped the content patch, but ended up with a lot of blank thumbnails in buy mode: Removing the patch made the buggy thumbnails go away. I'll try it in Overrides instead of ContentPatch as recommended in the store fixes thread, but it's kind of stupid that it's not working when it's in the place it's logically supposed to go.

CC Magic cuts packages off at a gigabyte, so I'm guessing the game can handle pretty big packages. (I don't actually use CC Magic since I'm used to MultiInstaller/S3PE, so this is guesswork on my part.) I'm guessing the "can't read over 200MB" figure comes from that being the point where the Launcher starts a new .dbc.

The majority of my content is installed as decrapped packages, but I installed Lunar Lakes and Hidden Springs (also decrapped) through the launcher. You said these fixes assume everything was installed the same way, so is there likely to be a problem with the tree of prosperity or fountain of youth?
Also, just to be a hundred percent clear, ccmerged_decrapped goes in Overrides if you use packages, not DCBackup?
edit: found the answer to one of the things I asked, so I took that out so as not to waste your time.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is Anyone Using Process Monitor Now?

I'm on Vista 32-bit (yes I know, but it's what the computer came with and once I got used to it I never bothered to upgrade.) I can't run Process Monitor either- the whole computer locks up tight. I haven't noticed any unusual slowdowns, and things come up clean on Delphy's Dashboard, but is there an alternative to check for bad files anyway?
