1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Various Mods aka Random Crap (was: Event Notifiers) on: 2010 November 15, 13:01:54
Will the event notifiers (births, deaths, etc) work will LN? It doesn't say so elsewhere in the post or its threads.

Thanks, in any case.

I had something like that when I used Twallan's Story Progression (it aged the Grim Reaper into a weird outfit like that). That's when I decided my game is happier with AM only, even If I had to go around the hood adding cribs to every house.

The only bug I have notice so far regards the acting career: my level 8 actor sim could not go to work (the action kept dropping from his queue) even though he could enter the building to quit his job.
Having similar problems with certain opportunities. Some opportunities work, while some don't.
I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause, but I'm suspecting it's something related to the multiple businesses in the same rabbithole.

I'm playing a custom hood with Sunset Valley's rabbit holes, so I don't think it applies to multiple-businesses-in-one-hole... I noticed, however, that the Movie Set rabbit hole sometimes changes "scenery" - might it be related to what I'm experiencing?

I have just donated 50 USD (I already had donated other 25 back in February); I'd rather spend the money here than give it to EA.

Could someone tell me the awesome console command to access the special merchant's wares from every vacation world? I know I read it here, but I cannot find it anymore, and the search button isn't being helpful.

ETA: Nevermind. After searching the threads for half the afternoon, I found it on the RTFM: it's "adventureshop", if anyone else is interested.

Everything works like a charm just as long as you follow the instructions.

At first I was being dumb and skipped Witch's instructions on the .txt file, saying that these files needed two copies, one in My Documents and another one in Program Files, then wondered why the files weren't working...

So, if you're having problems, check, double check and triple check the instructions, as they're quite clear and easy to follow.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, you're truly awesome!

You use the [ and ] to raise and lower paintings, not Ctrl A. I don't think Ctrl A is used for anything. Use [ when you want to raise it up, and ] when you want to lower the object.

Hmmm... I'll have to check it when I get home tonight. I really hope it works, not so much because of the paintings but mostly for the lights and shelves.

Just to clarify - what country's keyboard are you using? I'm Portuguese living in Italy, so I had to buy an Italian computer and it came with an Italian keyboard, and those parenthesis do not feature there... On the other hand, and since I more often than not need to write in Portuguese, I set the computer to "think" it's getting its input from a Portuguese keyboard, in which those parenthesis are placed under keys 8 and 9 (and I need AltGr to access them).

I just got a new computer, and installed all expansions/stuff packs except for Happy Holiday or whatever it was that gave us Christmas stuff.

After installing each of the expansions, I patched the game with the corresponding latest official patch released.

Now, I have to admit that in order to avoid securom issues I installed the games all in a row, never stopping to check if everything was ok, and after installing Mansion and Garden installed the latest no-cd patch from gamecopyword.

The only hacks / mods I put so far are Lord Darcy's bed and tub comfort fixes, CEP, the director's cut, and Gunmod's camera mod.

Shiftable paintings were a feature in AL, but my game seems to have forgotten about them - I simply do not get to have them! On buy mode, when I acquire a painting, next to the description I don't have any instructions on how to change the position of a painting up a wall, and [ctrl][A] or whatever it was just changes the camera's position.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I patch AL on top of M&G?

Help!
