1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Really Long Save Tiime on: 2009 August 26, 15:19:06
I'm also having this issue. Last night I saved the game, went off to cook and eat dinner, and when I came back the game was still saving. I do have a lot of CC, though.  Undecided

Once in a while the meshes start working again after I restart the game a few times, clear the caches, etc. But it's extremely annoying to have to go through that every time I want to play the game.
And Pescado, 1.4? Is that the new patch? I think I'm missing something here.

Well, the title obviously says it all. I'm having issues with .packages that have custom meshes. I'm not sure if furniture is doing this too(I don't have any custom furniture), but it's happening with outfits and hair. For the outfits, it just shows an invisible space between the feet and head. For hair, it shows part of the texture, but the mesh doesn't show at all. It just looks like a texture was glued to the sim's head.
I'm running the game on a Mac Leopard and I have sims patched up to 1.3.
I've tried deleting caches, removing my mods folder and putting it back in, deleting my neighborhood and starting a new one, but the meshes just won't show up.

Those are both custom hairs.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Deadly Ghosts on: 2009 August 19, 15:18:56
I've had a lot of experience with ghosts (but I've never looked at any game files about them, I'm going to wait a while until I try modding TS3) and they've scared my sims a lot, but it's never really done any harm. It's pretty much just the "scare" interaction that sims with the mean trait will autonomously do. I haven't tried anything with sims that have the coward trait, but so far...No deaths, no peeing of the pants, no fainting. I think it's safe to assume that the evil ghosts from TS2 are gone.
