1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: TS2 Toddler Separates - Can It Be Done? on: 2010 November 20, 04:47:16
I think using pet bed for daytime napping at least. Some toddler outfits appear both everyday- and pj-categories. So not changing would be just same outfit in both I guess.

As for Toddler Outerwear and Formal... Well, there are some things toddlers can do outside (like ride that little horsie that came with AL), maybe play with snow/leafs/butterflies... And at least a plantbaby ought to be outside as much as possible to get the sunlightneed. So outerwear is nice to be there... Granted, if my normal tods are going out, it's aging off usually.

As far as the Toddler formal outfit... There's only one that comes with the games and it's the one the New-Year-baby wears. It was obviously made for that event.

I've come across several steam traps in a tomb, already throwing out the steam. I had my sim meditate and then zen-transport on the other side of the traps... so Martial Arts skill helps too...

Basic idea is to raise toddlers up into teens and raise them well. No nannies, it is your duty to raise the little ones... in effect, social worker means instant failure.
The family in Cas:
Make one or two adults; +50 if you only have one.
Make the Toddlers, as many as you think you can raise well; +50 for each.

Toddlers should learn their skills: -100 for every unlearned Toddler Skill. (if you have FT, nursery rhyme is included)
+10 for every platinum growth to child.
-100 for every grow up badly

Children have school -- -100 for each child not learning how to study.
+ 10 for each child having a membership in his/her predestined hobby.
And again, + 10 for every platinum growth, - 100 for every grew up badly.

Challenge ends after all little one are teens.

Theoretical Maximum is when you add up all possible points you can gain with no penalties. It depends on EPset. (like no owning 5 top businesses without OFB ..). That's what it's there for anyway... So that your Maximum result is 1. Just to compare different sets.

The Challenge ends at the point where your sim ages up to adult.

Hello. Been reading here and I thought to present you a little contest in getting the maximum out of uni. The challenge lasts as long as your time in Uni does...
First some basic rules:
No hacks or cheats except where specified.
You start it with a single YA, created in CAS.
You must pass each of the 8 semesters with the top grade.
You must get into Secret Society. You may not steal money or objects from the Secret Society. You may use the items on SS lot though.
You must found a Greek House.

Scoring:
+1 point if the Greek House is at top level at the end of the challenge
+1 point for having a Roof Raiser Graduation Party.
- 500 if you get caught hacking your grades or forging money
- 10 for each use of Energizer

Additional points depending on other EPs:
Each Life Time Want is worth 1 point. You may use a hack to choose one. (Or just keep changing aspirations with the Orb)
Each golden badge is worth 1 point.
For those with AL: Crafting one of the magical thrones is worth one point, but no extra for making both or more.
BonVoyage: Getting all 45 Vacation Memories: +1 point
Free Time: Each maxed Enthusiasm in a hobby: +1 point
Seasons: Getting each type of fish (and a boot) planted on the wall of the Greek House +1 point.

Your final result is the amount of points divided by the theoretical maximum. (LTWs requiring topping a career, children, pets or marriage do not count as those are impossible to reach at uni. Running 5 top-level businesses does, though...) That's just so it's at least somehow comparable with different sets of EPs.
