TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I tripped over my cutlass

Occasionally (especially with early releases, as it seems), you may have to install the game using the standard installer, and then copy over Game/GameData/Thumbnails folders into the install directory manually. If you notice you have both an Installer folder and a couple folders that look familiar from other EP install directories, that's probably the case.

I'm trying to avoid making a new thread, and my request is related to this particular patch, so is anyone willing to share their copy of Sims3Launcher.exe from World Adventures (version 2.12.8.009002)? It seems to have gone entirely missing, and I'm unable to patch without it.

If it *WERE* more threatening, I suspect that since every sim in the neighborhood is active at once, all of the vampires in the game would kill themselves instantly.
Ah, true, I hadn't thought of that.

I think the main point was that it takes a severely unrealistic time for anything to actually happen as a result of sun exposure. I've never heard of any vampire that took over four damn hours to burn up in the sun. Uh...what? Did you actually use "realistic" and "vampires" in the same statement? Yes, a severely bad choice of words on my part, I know. I just meant to say that it seemed to take an oddly lengthy amount of time for vampires to react to the sun, and even longer to really cripple them at all.

Also, if you are outside for more than an hour you should get the "heating up" moodlet and if you stay outside for another 3 hours you should get the "too much sun" moodlet. It sounds like that isn't happening for your vampire so either he is glitched or you have some cc that is conflicting.

-Simbots either recharging at a charge station instead of beds or absorbing energy from sunlight. Possibly both.
-Getting rid of waste is reasonable, but doing it in a terlet is retarded. They should just randomly leave a scrap pile on the floor when their bladder hits 0.
Both of these could, in theory, be achieved through a custom object though. That may be the only option, it's not like EA will improve it.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / TS3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack
|

Hopefully this question hasn't already been asked, I searched and couldn't find anything on it.
I removed the Mods folder and framework from my WA folder, and then updated my install to version 2.3.33. Now whenever I attempt to run WA, I get the following error message - "Unable to start game; Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please update your game via the game launcher." However, when I open the launcher, it says that I am updated to the latest version (I tried both the Base Game launcher, and the WA one).
I have a legit copy of TS3, with an arr'd copy of WA, but I've never had issues with updating before this. I don't use an .exe crack to get around the CD requirement, I had the NRaas No-CD mod installed previously (currently I have AwesomeMod set up, including the proper framework - trying it without anything yielded the same result). I cleared out the cache files, and have installed CAW, but have not yet run it. I also checked in the registry, the SKU and locale codes and such all match.
Any help would be appreciated, and if a full reinstall is needed, it's not a big deal.

Toss down a floor switch (for example), hold down Control and Shift, and then click the switch. Tada, you have a bunch of new options to fiddle with the programming and setting up of interesting puzzles. Thanks for the info, I spent a good hour today (unsuccessfully) trying to figure out how to actually set up all the pieces.

No, what I was saying was that the one hair that moves at all is basically an edit of a Maxis hair and nothing really very customized about it so of course it moves, she didn't have to do anything. Her other offerings are impaling hair plastic wigs.
I agree that the hair looks too stiff. Also (and I'm not sure if this is because the mesh plugins are in their infancy - if that's why, please excuse the error) while EAxis hair adjusts itself based on the Sim's weight, Peggy's hair just sits there and doesn't compensate whatsoever for the body shape. For example, EAxis hair: Versus Peggy's sh!t:
