1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 18th September 2014 (1.67) on: 2014 September 26, 20:07:03
Mods updated! Been out of the loop for while. Decided to try Sims 4 and it was so terrible that it drove me to update my mods for Sims 3. I haven't tested these yet, and I'm unlikely to get a chance until next week, so please report any problems.

Ditto, I played Sims 4 for a week, returned it, and went back to playing Sims 3. It's good to see you back, Anach.  I'll make sure to edit this post if I have any issues.
Thanks.

It amazes me how you dingleberries can wake up and walk around in the morning, without mortally wounding yourselves. What the hell are you waiting for? Virtual Gift-wrapping? You can't move a mouse around, and click on those very old items for download on this site?

Not clueless, too busy to search. Could you fill in me on where else to search, because I have searched every site I know and google for .package format and the sites have them with .sims3pack. If there is a program which turns .sims3pack to .package tell me where to find it rather than offering bullsh*t as an answer.

Type what you're looking for, then Google it. That's not a bullshit answer, it's the truth. I did it. I found the exact program you're looking for. I've been using for almost a year now. You also need to 'Decrapify' the sim3packs before you can use them. That requires another program, made by the same creator.

The MATY moderators and contributers make tutorials with links on what to do in almost every modded/patched Sims 3 related scenario. All you need to do is search and follow instructions. What are you doing that makes you so busy that you can't type your issue and click on a search button? Why are there so many of you asking the same type of questions, and what justifies you to be a jerk about it?

(I apologize moderators, if this is the wrong place to post this.)

Skadi, I cannot express enough how thankful I am for this.  I was having such difficulty changing files with that file editor application, I decided to give up rather than screw up something on Sims 3 and have to do another un/reinstall.  Wink

Again, I thank you.

 Cheesy

Seriously, Miss witch, thank you so very much for this and the instructions.... ESPECIALLY the instructions.

You're a doll!

Anywhoo,  the files work just fine, there seems to be no change in loading/saving.  I do think the CAS works much better.  At first, when the Store items were in their original format everything loaded very slowly, but now they are already loaded in the inventory and things move around more fluidly.

I have a Vista 32-bit OS & I put the files in the <PCname>/Documents/EA/Sims 3/DCCache folder  and the Mods/Packages folder. That seems to work for me.

For some strange reason my Sims can't get pregnant.  I've chosen the option 'try for baby' numerous times; in the coffins, the camps beds, the house bed, the tents, there place of employment. The wife now has extra fertile and still, no success.

They normally always get pregnant when I chose 'Try for Baby'.  I didn't think much of it for the first few times after the most recent WA patches. But now... I think there is something wrong.

I un-installed and re-installed prior to WA. I have less than 50 mods in the Mod folder. I don't have anything besides the few stores items I got for registering, since the patches removed the other 'acquired' items.

I've used the 'search' bar and Google in hopes of finding other players who've experienced this recently, but I couldn't. Should I just keep playing and install that Reproduction Hack item I spotted on this forum? Or unistall/reinstall

Thank you for your time.

If you use AwesomeMod try the cheat falconpunch NameofYourSim  and see if that clears a borked pregnancy.  My Sims are getting pregnant since the patch/WA/update.  Maybe she is pregnant but it is stuck or something. What this will do is cancel her pregnancy so you can start a new one.

Alright, thank you very much.
