The AL set of director's cut does have a "hugginghack". It prevents such hugging from stomping out your queued actions. Kids will only hug their parents if both parties are free and idling around, or the action drops out of queue in time.

Because I am a greedy bustard who wants my cake and eat it too Tongue

The cake mix unfortunately includes the notorious kitten killer and I am still too curious to see what interesting plot lines can pop up with it despite of the unintended side effects.

I am planning to tiptoe around the issue by moving the problematic kid out of the apartment. Yet could this error escalate into the neighborhood turning into a big fiery ball in the long run, even when I have been wiping corrupt memories religiously using the Debugger? Do hack conflicts that seem minor now mass up the indexes of object (including character + relationship) data over time?

I had issues with toddler not moving in correctly.
Alternative method that I tried: Visit Vivian in her apartment and propose marriage there. Her apartment would black out and force everyone out, and then you can bring the toddler with you.

The behavior of the creature seems to be that of University Cow Mascot.

I am completely clueless in how to read the error log and hope that someone in the forum can drop some hints on where to go in dealing with object errors.

I have four families in one apartment building. The kids can get on the school bus fine. Errors occur when kids get off the school bus. I have narrowed the error down to one particular kid Tommy Ottomas. When he missed the school bus, every other kids get off the bus okey with their homeworks. If he went to school and was the first to get off the school bus, error message appear, and every other kids after him get "reset" as well. Instead of getting of the school bus, they spawn in the first floor apartment.

Attached is the error log. Is there a way I can fix this problem with SimPE?

Even though this tread may be very dead, just want to share this piece of information for people who are still playing sims 2...

I was bugged with the exact same problem for a long long time at many apartment lots and finally found a way to fix it using the awesome, most up-to-date lot debugger.

Before 7 am, I force error off-world to reset objects (which I assume also include portals and controllers) and nuke everything there is to nuke, sim scheduler etc etc. At 7 am, the notifications for school bus finally pop up along with those for adult carpools. While force errors may also affect other tenants of the apartment, one may also have to fix the side effects under the fix menu....

Not only is the kid able to going to walk to school now, the school bus ACTUALLY shows up!! Wa ha ha ha

Sorry to whip up a dead-horse. I have noticed a very very minor issue with Macrostatics-eat. I was playing Don Lothario's house and the "eat" option was not on the menu. After fiddling with it a bit, I finally found out why... there is no stove, only a toaster, at Don Lothario's lot. After adding the stove, it works like a charm again.

You will see the SDSC (always), SDNA (often), and SCOR (occasionally). Delete the SDSC and SCOR on sight. Never touch the SDNA unless you are deleting EVERYONE, ala DAC.

Hail to the Awesomeness,

What does DAC stand for? Does it mean it is safe to delete DNA for those who have not reproduced?

I wish I had seen the posts about empty university template and issues with population explosion earlier before I stupidly add three university campuses to the Mega Hood. Arrhhh... now the drill begins to take those damn excess dormies out.

new peasant in town,
