The only acceptable plural form for virus is viruses. The word does come from Latin, but does not have a recorded plural form. If it had one, it would be *vira, as virus is a neuter word. It would never be viri, that's the plural second declension of the masc. noun 'vir', man.
And *virii is complete nonsense.
Awwww. You gotta love a man who knows his Latin.

In my game I have had females with the following names;
Christopher Parker
and males named;
Carol Tracy Angel Lynne
I guess there is probably somewhere someone named with these gender neutral names, but they are very much uncommon and in my opinion quite odd.
Carol, Tracy, Angel, and Lynne can definitely be boys names! They are somewhat common, especially Angel for a boy in the highly Spanish speaking population where I come from. Parker can totally be female. But Christopher on a girl? No.

You don't think something that's going to be giving up it's life so that you can fill your belly deserves to be treated with respect? I'm not saying don't eat em I'm saying they deserve respect. Unlike apples they do feel pain.
I'm in a Social and Moral Ethics class and we just read a bunch of essays about the morality of eating meat. One interesting opinion in one of the essays is that with rights comes responsibilities. Since we cannot hold animals accountable for their actions (aka jail and other punishments), then they do not have rights. I'm not saying I agree with this, just interesting food for thought. I think that's a ridiculous idea. We can't hold infants accountable for their actions either, but they have a right to be treated with respect and not be tortured.

I really don't see the entire problem with animal-eating, really. Protesting the inhumane practices of factory farming doesn't mean you give up meat. It just means you kill it yourself.
This is part of my reason for vegetarianism to begin with. Somewhere over time I realized that if I could never, ever bring myself to kill a cow or chicken or pig, I had no business at all eating them. It made me feel hypocritical and guilty, so I stopped. If I'm ever lost in the wilderness and faced with the choice between hunting and starvation, I guess I'll learn if I really have what it takes. I came up with the same hypocrisy in myself, but instead of becoming vegetarian I took up hunting. True story.

This is why you quit being one of those ethical ones. I can eat all the marshmallows I want.
Marshmallows are one of those things I won't eat because of the texture. I don't care that they're made of gelatin, I just think they're nasty. Marshmallows are THE most evil "food" in existence. I would rather eat anything the Bizarre Foods guy does than marshmallows. Even typing the word makes my stomach turn...

All the children on this forum are now traumatized...
What children? There aren't supposed to be any children here. If anyone is young enough to still be shocked that their parents must have had sex at least once, then they're too young for MATY. I know, but there is clearly one child on this thread at least. I can see it now... "OMG MOM! Do you guys have sex while I'm home?!" lmao
