I reset a sim to young adult when she was going to age to elder in two days after my sim married her.  They were supposed to have tons of kids, so I risked an editsim age change.  It worked fine and so far no issues.

Faded, do you have any idea of their history?  Don't assume this is the only questionable thing that have ever happened.  Don't assume there is no history that leads people to question them now.

Perhaps hazel was an asspull just like what happens with hair.  I had a kid with grey eyes whose mother had lilac eyes and father had bright green eyes.  He also had brown hair even though mom had blonde and dad had red.  Perhaps mom was inappropriate with the mailman when I wasn't looking.

I am glad you can't change face lengths.  There were some truly hideous spawn in TS2 due to parental face length differences with facial parts far too close to each other.  *shudder*

Carol, Tracy, Angel, and Lynne can definitely be boys names!  They are somewhat common, especially Angel for a boy in the highly Spanish speaking population where I come from.  Parker can totally be female.  But Christopher on a girl?  No.
