I'd been dreading patching my game, but this thread gave me the courage to finally give it a try this morning.  My razor copy patched just fine and is playing okay so far.  Even have a resurgence of wants on a couple of sims.  (Just running awesomemod/indi combo with a few CC items.)

With debugging menus enabled (ctrl+shift+click IIRC) go to Object - Reset or Object - Delete.

No interactions available. And cannot select it even with MoveObjects on. As if there was nothing, but road...

I've got the same problem with a stuck police car (after they responded to the burglar alarm).  I've tried everything I knew to get rid of it, even moved that family out and bulldozed the lot.  I'll have to try the debugging mode trick.

I wonder if it's similar to the skilling-by-TV bug that I spotted once.  If a Sim was watching, say, the cooking channel, and another Sim sat down to play video games, the skilling Sim would keep skilling.  Even as they went around doing other things, they'd be gaining skill.  Perhaps there is the same sort of bug at play here, where the action doesn't get closed cleanly, and so keeps on going, blocking all other social progress.

Well, that might explain why I had one particular sim gaining cooking skill points completely randomly, like when he was asleep.  He got up to cooking 9 without setting foot inside the kitchen.

My sims just would not flirt with one another when on high free will.  I have a house with six adults, three male and three female, all good friends and/or old friends now, but nothing more.  Two of them are even hopeless romantics.  I had to eventually cave and use the hand of god to get a little flirtation going.  I was beginning to wonder if they actually could autonomously take that next step in their relationships.
