I would like the CAS demo files. Don't need to get it working, just want to sneak peek into the files with an editor.
Wait til its released to everyone in 22 days.
Don't reply if you don't have anything to say. I ask here to try to avoid waiting 3 weeks.

Does anyone have the 'Study In Fractures' mirror? It was a free item in the store but has been removed recently. Here's a picture:

To my knowledge, only Genius sims can 'contemplating their surroundings'.

Carl's guide did a good job on the connection of LTW and traits: http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/lifetimewishes/

As said, page 3 is still in progress.

Ok. Thanks. I'm actually working on a huge Traits list and am using a lot of info from here. But also from guides and my own gameplay experiences. Will give credit to this site once it's finished.

Page 1 and 2 is done. Page 3 is in progress.

Hey does anyone know which trait can't be killed by freak accidents? Was it Unlucky or Loser? Or both?

Check here for more info about the non-used traits: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15465.0.html

The prima guide is full of errors. The possible reason is that the guide was already finished and then EA delayed the game. Prima then just slapped another cover on it and let the original contents intact.

As for traits. Good and Friendly, Evil and Mean, Loser and Unlucky, Brave and Daredevil are also way too similar.

You are right. You have to set it to the item of preference.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Complete Painting Guide on: 2009 July 03, 15:45:23
Very nice guide. One thing I'm wondering, is there a way to make REAL custom paintings? Like put a picture of a porche in some folder and the sim will paint it?
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hidden Items on: 2009 July 01, 15:05:28
I had my sim get to the top of the symphonic career track, but my stereo never arrived.
Yeah it seems some top level perks just don't work. For example the "show your date the spaceship" is not there when I became an astronaut.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Object upgrades - the real list on: 2009 June 30, 08:56:24
You won't get inapropriate behaviour from Sims you visit if you tinker something there. For example, as a joke, I changed the doorbell on my neighbor into a very silly sound and they didn't react to my banging on their door with a hammer.

If you use the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and shift-click the mailbox, you can change your career and any joblevel. You can get all the special items this way.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Object upgrades - the real list on: 2009 June 12, 22:01:42
For my site, I had to check all the upgrade options. Still don't have all of them but at least I can confirm the following:
better food quality at stove is indeed 7
Auto light fireplace is indeed 7
Boost channels for tv is 7 but I suspect it's different with each tv. Expensive tv's may already have more channels.
Improve graphics for PC is indeed 8
Wire house with speakers is indeed 8
Faster cooking microwave is 7 (I really didn't see a speed increase though).
Trashcompactor is indeed 6

As for unbreakable (6) and self cleaning (3); It's for all objects the same.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Object upgrades - the real list on: 2009 June 10, 09:33:57
After checking, I found that I could Tinker almost every object in that list with just level 1. And my Sim didn't even have the Handy trait. With level 1, I started tinkering the shower and it got Unbreakable.
Not sure what's going on there.
