Oh thank you!!!

Sorry, I didn't see this before... Celebrating my holiday atm .. will have a good look at this when I'm back home on my Sims computer.

I'd like a pony too. One that can clean out its own stable, preferably.

Mhh.. double post because it won't let me edit my last...

Anyway.. reinstalled Spore. Now everything works normal again. Probably some weird glitch caused by me poking around too much in gamefiles. Sorry for bothering you.

Well that's the weird thing. There is nothing running. Freshly started up my computer (Acer Aspire 5920 windows xp)

Going to the taskmanager doesn't show anything EA running in the background.

Coincedence?

I get an alert saying: "another instance of the game is already running [1000]"

Anyone here less clueless than I am? (I assume there is, otherwise I would not be posting this..lol)

Both games are arrrred. Splotch with a No-CD crack, running the Sims3 with the "NS-SIMS3_DC-poseden.mds" version.

Thanks in advance.

I suppose you would have done that indeed. Messing with the lights must have had its appeal on loads of (dark)simmers.

But as I understand now, this cannot be done.... damn, that is dissapointing.

Since I am not Awesome, keep in mind these are only assumptions of a person who does know how to make objects and recolours for Sims2, but doesn't dare to fiddle with other kind of game-files. I am willing to learn, though.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a mod or hack that will change the hours of the sunrise and sunset. This is because it annoys me to no end that no matter which season it its the sun always comes up at 7am and goes down at 7pm. Which I think is completely unrealistic.

I know there are lightning mods around that make how the light appears more realistic, but I have till now seen none that also change the hours of set and rise.

I dare to think it can not be one of the hardest things to change the overall hours to something different. But I would like to see different times for different seasons. With daylight set to say: Spring 7am-8am, Summer 6am-9pm, Fall 7am-7pm, Winter 8am-6pm. Or something among those lines.

I don't know if this will be possible at all, however, I would really like to know if someone ever thought about this before and if anybody thinksit would be a doable project.

Ah, Secret of Monkey Island. The manual was beautiful and the install would required you to enter the first word on page 10.

The wii remake just won't be the same.  Undecided
There's going to be a Wii remake of Monkey Island? Really?! I think I'm having a game-gasm.

I think my most memorable manual would be the bookwork that came with Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist.
