Yes, the display adapter is the graphics card.

And yes, you would be able to find all your info, as far as I know. It's always had enough info for me  

I find it alot easier to find all your pc info via your control panel.

To find it go to:
"my computer", find "control panel", and then find "system".

You'll find everything there.
