The good news is that at least they don't sparkle. I think we may have been given the 'True Blood' version of vampires as opposed to the 'Twilight' version. yay.

Till the masses of lil girls demand that a mod be made to add the eye candy sparkle to vampires.
I fear for the sims. I really do.

Ran Delphy dashboard to clear the caches like you suggested to find it was still reading a DBC file in on the computer. It seems instead of deleting the DCCache folder i just renamed it thinking it wouldnt read it with a name change while not realising I changed the Resource.cfg to check inside of folders for the DBC files.
Thanks for your help Morriganrant.

Theres no way of removing some or all of the items installed from the DBC?

Out of curiousity how do we remove the items from the game after we add the DBC? I added another DBC and it had doubled some of the items. I empted both the DCCache's folders in Documents and the Packages folders aswell as the DCBackup folder. Yet it still shows the store items in the games buy menu when I start the game.
Is there something I still need to remove? Hopefully with out uninstalling the game. Suggestions?

Today i restarted to play the sims3 from a few months brake only to find that all the store stuff i had downloaded wasnt showing up in game.
Im kind of confused as to what steps i should take now.
Has this problem been fixed? Do i need a fresh download of the items or is there a new method of installing them?
Thanks in advance.

Im having the exact same problem.
Game was working fine earlier. I disided i'd try and see if the new patch fixes for story mode were any good so i removed AM and this is the problem i had. I just downloaded the new AM and it hasnt fixed it.
The date on the new AM is 14/08/2009 16:33. The time here is GMT. Downloaded half an hour ago.
Im not sure if its AM that causes it but it only happened after i removed the old one i have.
