So yeah, I did what everyone else was doing and deleted the school then placed it again. It worked, but now I don't get a marker for it in neighborhood view. At least it can be used now.
3  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 12, 15:22:42
Even without AM, the school in Twinbrook doesn't work for me. It's recognized as a school by Neighborhood View, which it isn't in AM, but sims still refuse to enter.
4  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 07, 21:40:32
I'm pretty sure I got the sudden motive drain while my sim used the workbench. Unfortunately, I can't confirm it because he died before I could check. :/

Why did he have to die?!

CURSE YOU AWESOMEMOD!

CUUUUUURSE YOU!

I CTD'd while saving just now. I'm using the most recent AM. (Or, at least, the one downloadable from the OP currently.)

Oh yes, and the school is community lot thing.

Started a new family and played normally. No problems over the hour and a half I played.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 04, 21:10:27
The game doesn't seem noticably faster to me, but that may be because it was already pretty fast.

However, loading 'hoods is like three times slower.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 04, 20:50:48
The Sim descriptions. Major borkage. I guess they fired the writers:

"Cherish grew up dreaming to be a a [sic] good wife and mother, but nothing more. During a hard time in her husband's career she took up teaching to pay the mortgage, and she ended up loving it. Will she be able to balance her new love of teaching, and be able to be the mother she's always dreamt of?"

Despite what you may think, developers are still human.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions and SURPRISE! - CTDs on: 2010 June 04, 16:40:00
I never had an issues with crashing. Alls I did was patch, install Ambitions, remove AM, change other mods to new structure, then play. I can even load up old AwesomeMod saves without hassle.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Product Registration Mod on: 2010 June 03, 20:25:16
To sum it up;

A package came out that adds a few extra inventions and sculptures (along with hairdos) to your Ambitions game. It's one of those packs that's free once you register your EP.

Obviously for us, getting the package without registering the game is easy-fuckin'-peasy.

HOWEVER, there is code stopping the inventions and sculptures from actually being made by your sims, unless Ambitions is registered in your online account. This mod simply overrides that and allows the added stuff to work.

Man, this is like the only community lot I can remember from Sims 1. Sweet.

Will you be making more?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 02, 14:07:29
After it was finished downloading, I unzipped it with 7-zip. When the unzipping was done, an error message popped up telling me the file was broken. I still got a full sized ISO,  and it still seemed to work normally. However halfway through installation I got some cryptic error message and it stopped.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 02, 13:53:22
The download worked for me, but when I tried to unzip the file, it was "broken." I couldn't install the ISO from it.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Those looking for the 1.12.70 Patch on: 2010 June 01, 17:27:40
Does this mean AwesomeMod will have to be installed in that folder instead of where it normally is?
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 01, 16:24:49
Speaking of which, would pirated expansions still work with the launcher and online features?

I have legit base and WA.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 01, 16:09:08
Huh? I have WA and the Base Game on two different regions too, but I just changed the WA region to the same as the base game (USA I think) and never changed it back. USA patches work on both of them. I've never had to change the region to install a patch.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 01, 16:05:21
Editing the game region is super easy.

Did anyone know that Ambitions adds the ability to edit, add and remove lots or town items to your neighborhoods from the edit town menu? (Finally.)
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions Torrent on: 2010 June 01, 15:44:02
Ugh, this is terrible. ETA: 2 years.

I'm almost tempted to spend money on this. Almost. I'm too cheap to ever actually do it though.

Give it time to get more seeders and stuff. It's been out for less than a day.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent on: 2010 January 31, 00:50:00
Really? I thought it was explained well enough from here downwards.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: New World: Milton on: 2010 January 24, 18:49:28
The neighborhood looks pretty good, but the lot layout looks very unnatural. You could try spreading it out in smaller clusters, not making groups of lots with the same sizes, and make more standalone houses.
How does the layout look "unnatural"? It looks DENSE, maybe. Of course, lot layouts themselves are unnatural, being that buildings are a creation of man, and not nature...

Haha, I knew someone would point this out. I meant unnatural as in it wouldn't occur in a real-life small town.

What I don't get is why people can't just do everything they think might make it work and then use the process of elimination. >_>
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Create-A-World Tips, Tricks, and Annoyances on: 2010 January 22, 19:36:20
I don't know, I haven't used it.

I don't plan to either, Riverview does fine with just a mile of no camera routing on all sides.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Create-A-World Tips, Tricks, and Annoyances on: 2010 January 22, 16:41:34
Ugh. That's what I was afraid of.

I already started remaking the neighborhood on a bigger terrain, and after sculpting the coastlines I found out the whole thing was facing the wrong direction. D:
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Create-A-World Tips, Tricks, and Annoyances on: 2010 January 22, 15:49:15
Another problem. I wanted to create a small mainland town surrounded by mountains with some islands in the bay. Unfortunately, no matter how mush I use the No-Camera-Routing tool and raise the mountains, I can't seem to make it impossible to see over the mountains to the infinite see behind it.
