TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances

The only bug I've experienced thus far is the horrible jerkyness of it all. It's taking ages for my sims to do anything. It's just taken one of my sims from 1pm till 7pm to make some pancakes. This is really quite rediculous. The time skips along but they seem to just stand around staring into space for long periods of time. I'm not very good at describing but it's extremely annoying.
It's nothing wrong with my computer as I've just given it an amazingly good upgrade and it played it reasonably well before. I'm not sure what's causing it or if I'm the only one having this happen to them.

If you're only going to be playing games like Sims then the set up you've chosen looks waaay too advanced when you can get something lesser for a lot less money. There's no point having a super computer you're not going to use to it's full advantage when you can get something else.
I run Sims very well off a computer of half that spec. In fact I play a lot of games and run them all very well off something lower spec.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Patching Error, Ambitions.

I've searched, probably not very well but I haven't been able to find a fix for it that doesn't involve re-installing. The expansion is arr'd and I no longer have the installation files due to some borking so I cannot re-install. I'm getting the age-old Invalid File error when patching however the file that is invalid is Sims3EP02GDF.dll.
Is there someone who can provide me a clean copy of this file, or another sort of fix that doesn't involve re-downloading the entire expansion pack?
Sorry if this is a repeat thread but I would really like to get this fixed.

Sorry if this question has already been asked but I've scanned the thread a couple of times now and I cant really find an answer.
I wondered if those people who have downloaded the RLD to Razor patch have been successful and if the Razor version fixes the dump-to-desktop bug I (and from what I've read, many others) have been experiencing? I'm downloading the patch now, but my extremely slow internet connection is making it take longer then I really want to wait, so unless it fixes any of the really frustraiting problems I've been having, I dont really want to clog my computer up with something that is effectively a waste of bandwidth for me.
