1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Neighborhood Shifting-The Horror-or not! on: 2009 June 10, 16:27:49
Interesting - thanks.

I may Bin (move out) a couple of families and see what happens - but leave the rest of them. There are a couple of houses I would like to tinker with.

Thanks Jordi - I finally found it.

I guess there is no way to make a small convience store - it is just pre-made buildings or parks? Very few community items available.

What happens if I "bin" pre-made families - will they randomly move back in or will they always go back to the house they had before (as long as it is still there and not occupied)?

If I Bin all of the neighborhood so there are no Sims - how does this game react?

I just looked at the icons by the bulldoze and can't find any that allows me to create a community lot (or change it from residential).

Are there specific Community Items somewhere? Can you create a shop/store that sells food items (example)?

So How do you build a community lot - be it shop or park etc?

Well that is good news!

I didn't think to try that - just took everthing out and transfered it to inventory - like we had to do in Sims2. One too many times I sold a fridge only to remember too late that it was stocked with items.

More Awesome news. Thanks for the confirmation.

I have read that you can only have 5 saved games (neighborhoods) and I have read that there is no limit.

Does anyone know which is correct?

Is there a way to empty the fridge so you can upgrade - without taking items one-by-one?

Also - putting items into the "box" so a Sim can move to another lot/house? Or (again) do you have to take each item you want to take one-by-one?

Has anyone found a food that will help in having multiples. A "cheesecake" type item?

Childrenchannel for multi's - anything else noted? Is the cheesecake still in Sims 3?

Melon is indeed a slang for boobs = "Look at the melons on her". But in MHO cherries would have been more fitting for Boys.

Thank you both so much for the replies!

She finally did stop watering - ohhh that poor plant  Roll Eyes

As long as this in "normal" I can deal with it (and now expect it may happen again). I will try the Farmer route the next time.

I added gardening to my sim and she will NOT stop watering.

I have even done "moveobjects on" and moved her to the front of the house and she just goes right back. I do have sprinklers on the garden plots but it seems to make no difference. Clicking the icon to stop does nothing - just re-adds it again.

Is this broken - did I do something wrong - is it normal  Wink ??

What can I do to get her to stop watering? THANKS!

I "sillinatored" my sim (gardening) and she will not stop watering the plant. I can click on the icon to have her stop and she just keeps watering. I did "moveobjects on" and moved her to the front of the house - just went back to watering....

Is there a way to stop this?

Thanks!
