P.S. This is not store related but I was wondering if you could add the KPST items to your norandom mod, KT? I may decide to arrr it after all if you would be so kind. Smiley

I made one; see here for a description.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 06.29.2012) on: 2012 June 30, 16:17:33
I don't have the slightest idea on how to do scripts and since zero informations/help/tute/anything were released since that tool exist I cannot use the s3sr method but it's okay since I'm so used to fixing the stuff with the CTU and S3PE that it only takes a couple of clicks to add the latest store set. Plus there's the problem that a bunch of third party CC also need the launcher (counters, worlds, some hairs, some patterns, and even some accessories and clothes!), otherwise they 'break' so It's better not to clog the launcher with all the store because you still need to stuff it with a ton of third party things.

So then use the Launcher strictly for Store items; keep custom content as merged packages. Any custom content that cannot be extracted into package and added to your overrides is probably shitty quality/shittily created anyway.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 06.29.2012) on: 2012 June 30, 11:42:18
It's not impossible. I just did exactly that about a week ago; game runs probably 10 times faster/smoother using this method. Launcher isn't as unstable as it used to be. Also, I have my own CASP fixes, not to mention stencil removers and unlocked mailboxes. Everything works fine.

Don't be lazy, just try it. Also, as for un-installing, you can do so in S3PE as well. I just fixed a bunch of corrupted patterns that made my Misc section empty.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 05.03.2012) on: 2012 May 05, 05:51:41
Okay so, the Vintage Phone doesn't get fixed for me. I uninstalled it, grabbed it again from my vanilla folders, decrapped it as I do with all my store items, and installed it again (I install store stuff using sims3packs, CC is always package) but it still doesn't get fixed. Do you have any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

The fix in this thread doesn't work for me either, but with the Tablet. I did the same as you: deleted my original .package, re-downloaded a Sims3Pack, extracted again, decrapped the package, added it to Mods/Packages, then re-downloaded the fixes in this thread and my Sim still can't listen to a Tabcast, but the other features work.

Apparently, all taken care of.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 April 01, 00:24:10
I got the game guide today and there is a code in it for 2 bonus outfits - Mercantile  Garb and Mercantile Corset (one for the guys and one for the ladies).  If anybody is interested and doesn't have it, the code is BGDT-Z65P-8AEQ-A3MA.
Bad code, but thanks fo your efforts.

Both of those codes work fine. I've applied them 2 separate times and they worked both times.

Oh and if some were looking for some other code that supposedly unlocked 10 additional outfits, there was a PR fuck up and those people who paid for the Collector's Edition didn't get their extra goodies.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 25, 22:00:09
I have a crudimentary AwesomeMod prototype available for it

Do you think you could find it in you to throw something together, even if it only has the most basic functions?
Let's say Autosave, no CD and no Tantrum. That would already make all the difference.
...and let's not forget aging, genetics, height sliders, endlessly redoable quests, death by old age, and story mode.

If you want to finish all quests/give yourself more QP, type "setQP #" and you'll be able to keep questing. Debug tools need to be enabled for that to work. Also, I just tried the cheat, "RerollQuests" which works so it looks like you can keep questing indefinitely. You'll also never be able to unlock other ambitions this way, but you can keep your kingdom.

Hooray! More crappy EA hairstyles! Looks like my Neighborhood of Bad Haircuts and Poorly Tailored Clothings will be welcoming some new additions soon...

That Men's style is supposed to be "bedhead", right? Am I right in assuming that?
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 October 28, 01:09:00
Sparks - have you tried removing the CC including mods? I think your issues are Tight Pants.

I played for a bit without Mods until my game was stable enough to save (I forgot about changing my EXE in DEP so I had about 10 crashes); once it was stable and I setup DEP, everything is fine now. I've never had a problem with sleep Z's before so I'm attributing that to LN. I don't have any Skill mods or Need mods so, although I know something I have can still affect it, I can't help but think this new expansion is to blame. This isn't really complaining; more just facts and observations.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 October 28, 00:46:59
I'm playing one of the pre-made Sims. A vampire doctor named Elvira.

- My Sims sleep Z's are not Z's...they are a custom painting I just recently created and added to my game. But it's not just the picture of the painting, it is the entire DDS photo (picture, frame, back of the image).

- I didn't read much about Vampires before installing this EP: are their Needs supposed to continuously and erratically change every few seconds? I can't have my Sim sleep because by the time she gets to bed, her bar is filled again, but then her Thirst is low. If I drag it up manually, it will just drop again. I don't know what will happen if I try Shift-Clicking on the mailbox to Make Needs Static so I didn't try.

- I have Twallan's mod that notifies me of other Sims' skilling in my town. I'm getting from 30-72 messages about random Sims' Mixology skill reaching level 7 and 8, when I haven't even played the game for more than a Sim day; also that so-and-so didn't go to work for whatever reason. I clicked on the message icon so the camera zooms and shows me this other Sim and they appear to be standing in their apartment building, doing nothing.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 17:17:33
This is the first Sims torrent I actually had to wait around for. The rest were already seeding at at least 100-200 by the time I got to it. I can admit to being unnaturally excited for this expansion. I'm pretty impressed with it, thus far.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 03:37:57
I decided to cancel my torrent for those links, I wasn't getting anywhere.

Much better now, still taking awhile; but atleast it's going at a constant rate.

Same. I'm spoiled by private communities. Those torrents are absolutely crawling.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2 on: 2010 October 27, 02:05:21
I got an error after trying to install http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/Sims3_1.17.60.009002_from_1.15.34.008002.exe:

Is it because I'm using Windows 7? Never seen this before.

Never mind. Patches are not patched in order.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 October 21, 22:47:35
Those icons appear to be clickable, as if someone who wanted to see all new items, would be able to see them all on one page. Of course, they don't work.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Low-Polygoned and Low-Detailed Lots on: 2010 September 30, 22:26:40
I have this same problem. Even after making significant changes on a regular basis to a particular Sunset Valley lot, said lot will sometimes still preview the original home that was in place of my new one. My Sim' garden has grown a lot from when it first started. I've added landscaping and changed the roof. But every once in a while, when I go to the map, I can see the old house with parts of the new house as well (mainly just the low detail coloring of the terrain paints I've used). I've tried clearing out the Sunset Valley cache files but I still run into this problem often.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Slave Bots on: 2010 September 30, 01:47:46
Can you check the download availability for the http://www.mediafire.com/file/6knn3c9w9bhblc1/Simius_Slavebots.package on MediaFire please?
I keep getting the error "No servers are available with the requested data on them. Please retry your request in a moment."
I've been trying for over 3 hours and nothing so far.

Edit: Still trying an hour later and still the same problem. Does anyone have a copy of the unmodified/undecrapified/updated file that I can get from them?

Edit: Well, it took 24 hours but I have the file.

Can this file be uploaded somewhere else? All the rest of them are fine and I've tried downloading for more than 24 hours and it's still giving me the same error. I even saved it to my own Mediafire folder and I get the same Unavailable error.

Here's a link to my own personal 4shared account. I can't see it taking that long for anyone.

There are three files in the .zip file, you can use the one you need. http://www.4shared.com/file/Ur3v4-EO/Simius_Slavebot_Mods.html
Or just the .package file here: http://www.4shared.com/file/-yRpUB91/Simius_Slavebots.html

I was really looking forward to this but it immediately crashed my game when I entered my household.

22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 09, 03:48:54
I just patched my game manually. I don't know why but the HELS patch refused to install. The other 3 worked fine. I just put all my back ups back into my game (Downloads, Mods/Packages...etc.) and added the test AM. Everything is fine. I read on the official forums that the game doesn't check for in-between patches, only the earliest and latest installs.

Has anyone else experienced this? I still have Fast Lane to install; I just wanted to see if I could get into the game without it throwing errors for a missing patch. As for HELS, I've already tried replacing the original EXE and TSLHost.dll, also trading the entire Game/Bin folder from my original torrent (renaming files where needed). It didn't work for me.

Routing has greatly improved. My family of 4 can actually sit and eat together instead of one of them finishing their meal while all the rest are still tapping their foot and waiting for him to get out of the way, even though he grabbed his plate ages ago.
