1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2013 January 03, 07:25:29
I tried giving the aliens a ship using Master Controller and Buy debug.  They appear to be keeping the ship now and no new aliens have spawned. But I haven't seen any abductions at this point.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Generations: What Sucks, What's Fucked, and What Did EA Get Right by Utter Luck on: 2011 June 13, 04:14:35
It turns out if you have any of Buzzler's mods (http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?u=432522&showType=1&gs=0), remove em. I've removed his "Moar Interactions" and haven't seen a meteor since.

I have Buzzler's Moar Interactions and the test awesome mod. I have never had a meteor shower since I began playing The Sims 3. So I don't think it's that mod.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: CAS detail in live-mode? on: 2011 March 08, 07:10:26
I find it depends on the lighting you have in your homes. Also that day time lighting  is more harsh. If you properly light your home then you will have almost perfect CAS lighting,

Doesn't the bloom effect get in the way, though? I often have to set my Sims' lighting to dim just because of the annoying glowing.

The glow doesn't really bother me. I only really notice it when I'm zoomed all the way out to birds eye view most of the time.

My computer is just a run of the mill rig from 2007 and I find I have pretty good pics even with running sim detail on high  and tree/background on low/medium.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 December 27, 23:31:52
I am getting the wish from my Sims to buy a hot tub. While I am up to the latest patch with the current updated mods and current updated awesome mod I do not actually have Late Night. Of course I cancel the wishes but it's kind of stupid for them to wish for something we don't have and they should not be aware of considering I do not actually have late night yet.
6  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: J. M. PESCADO WILL YOU MARRY ME? on: 2010 August 02, 16:28:42
Without a doubt creepy. But this whole forum is creepily endearing anyway. Not to mention this thread turned to be beneficial as I didn't know we didn't need Rez Delnava's CAS UI  5x10 Double Slider with the Awesome Sauce. With that  I will now go back into my cave. Carry on!

Legal and the only problems I had were my own Brain Cheese getting the better of me. I had forgotten I had a camera hack in. Once I had the new version of awesome mod things went swimmingly
8  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Story Mode on: 2009 July 26, 20:33:31
Your mods have worked for me in the past. I am sure that once the new awesome storymode is ready I'll be going back to just awesome. Besides I'm terribly lazy and I really only want to come here to update my game. I think most of us are just biding our time with Indiestone till yours comes out.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Why does slutty slacker grandma get to bring the baby to the cake? on: 2009 July 24, 02:43:53
Hrmm I have a male and female sim couple where the Male sim is the oldest in the family by a couple days. Mom dropped baby on the floor so dad could cake the baby.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WooHoo and Baby wishes - meh on: 2009 July 19, 03:21:56
I've experienced the wish rolling right after that type action is performed as well. I've not played many couples but the one couple that I married off rolled one want to have a child. Since then they roll the want to woohoo nearly every night but so far no more baby wishes. They also generally want to have romantic actions towards each other. One has the "great kisser" trait and the other is "Flirty" so that might be part of what is causing it.

12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Spa/Work exploit? on: 2009 July 17, 00:52:54
I just noticed a bizarre little nuance to the game. I sent my female Sim to the spa a few hours prior to going to work. The Spa treatment was set to end after my sim should have already hauled ass to work.  When it came time for her to be at work the car came to her home even though she was at the spa. It honked for a few minutes .

Amusingly the work tones queued up in her orders. For all appearances it appeared  that she was at work and at the spa at the same time. Once her time at the spa ended a taxi came and took her to work. She finished her shift and appeared to be paid for the whole shift.  She even received her raise fro completing the opportunity and other things that I had been working toward with her.  I would have expected some sort of penalty for being a hour late but apparently this does not occur.  I wonder if this would happen again if I sent a sim to a class or something either prior to going to work.

I don't normally spam my Sims here however the macro about not having a pony made me think of this shot.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch released. on: 2009 June 25, 23:55:15
I patched my game with awesomemodnstalled. I did get the mysterious start up crash of doom! on first load up but now it's working properly. My speed three problems seem to be corrected as well which is nice.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Playing The Horror with a dual core processor on: 2009 June 20, 04:36:23
My Geforce Graphics card is a 7100 model  which I presume is lower than yours model wise. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to run it but I haven't had any problems. I have even set a couple of the graphic settings set to high. Not all of them mostly Sim Details and such. Once in a great the window goes black for a moment. (not my entire monitor but the windowed sims3 session. But it's not often enough to even be annoying. I'd post my specs but that would be redundant as I have a thread kicking round here somehwhere.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: System Requirements Help on: 2009 June 09, 06:08:16
I am going to get the Sims 3 retail version on Friday. Pirate Cat I am not. Tongue Bit of a wuss here.  From what I've read it looks like I"ll be ok. I fine my system specs by going to my control panel in vista.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: System Requirements Help on: 2009 June 04, 05:21:27
The difference between the dual and a regular processor has been rather confusing for me.  I think I may give it a go after all then. I just didn't want to buy the silly thing and then for it to not run a all. I don't care if I have to have it on low settings for a while. I'm rather attached to my Sims 2 hood so I don't really plan to pack up Sims 2 for a while yet anyway. I still would like to not wait 4 years to play the Sims 3 like I did with Sims 2.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: System Requirements Help on: 2009 June 04, 04:50:33
That really bites. I wish I had waited until the specifications had come out. Well, Thanks anyway.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / System Requirements Help on: 2009 June 04, 04:23:41
I bet everyone is sick of this question. However I'm going to ask anyway Nyah Tongue. I used to be better at this systems requirements crap but it appears since I joined the working world. Retail has rotted my brain. If anyone could help this silly cow out and look over my system specs I'd appreciate it.

My hope is that  Sims 3 would run on my crap-tastic  computer if I update the graphics card. I'm disappointed because I just bought this bloody thing a year ago. I know the graphic card needs to be updated but I'm still worried. I'm OK with the graphics not being perfect I just want to be able to play it without crashing.

I've been trying to "read moar" as far as the requirements go. I used to be up on this stuff when I was in highs school. I know my graphics card is sub-par and I plan to get a new one. However I wonder about the rest of it. It's the 1.80GHz  processor speed that concerns me the most. I did read in the specifications thoguh that 1.80 is ok for a integrated graphics card. The pathetic thing is I don't know the difference between a non intergrated and intergrated. I would imagine that integrated means it goes onto the mother board. I guess it's back to google for me.

20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vista and downloads on: 2009 February 24, 04:37:33
I've not had any problems with Vista and my downloads folder. It is a peculiar operating system, of course I consider anything other than ME a step up. ME was completely rubbish. I can't really comment on XP versus Vista only because I struggled along on Windows ME for 7 years. Now, I shall back away slowly before the gasps of horror begin. Generally my body shop takes FOREVER to load. But I'd imagine that has something to do with my scary downloads folder that I'm currently trying to organize.  The M&G Body Shop is the one I use, I keep a short cut to it on my desk top so I don't accidentally chose the wrong one.
