The content patch I provide is decrapped.
Ah, so that is it. Do you have any plans to upload a non-decrapped version? Also, you might want to change the description to say something other than "Decrap if necessary", as it's quite misleading.

I have various other "blank" icons in CAS that then have missing meshes when put on the sim
I don't know if it has the same cause, but I am having this problem too, as well as duplicate icons where one item works, and the other has a missing mesh. Been messing around with this in a clean mods folder today, and discovered it's caused by the content patch I downloaded here. I don't decrap my stuff, just run it through s3rc and install as packages with Delphy's multi installer and I have all EPs & SPs, patched to 1.50. I've tried installing the content patch in both overrides and the content patch folder and still have the same problem, and the same thing with re-downloading the patch to make sure I had the most recent one. One interesting thing is that running the dashboard tool while the patch is in the packages folder doesn't show a conflict with the store CAS items, even though I opened up both in s3pe and saw that there were CASP files with the same instance number. Is it possible that a decrapped version of the content patch got uploaded on accident? Not sure if that's something that could even cause this, but it's driving me crazy trying to dress sims with this mess in my CAS. I'm really at a loss and am hoping there's not something incredibly obvious that I missed that's causing this.

Are these files still clean/vanilla, or have they been decrappified?
I just tested a file and it wouldn't let me open it with s3pe until I ran it through sr3c, so it looks like they might be clean. Confirmation would be nice, though.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Master Suite Stuff Bay Window Fix on: 2012 March 15, 05:07:29
Really? I've seen mods that add slots to other bay windows in the game, which I don't believe originally had any.

Does anyone have the unmodified sims3packs for the counters in the Steampunk and Edwardian kitchen sets they would be willing to upload? The file uploaded by jeromycraig in the downloads thread that had them is no longer available.

Is anyone else having an issue with the deco window not letting light through?  I am using radiance lighting, which I suppose might be affecting it, but Maxis has failed at windows in the past, so I thought I'd ask here first.

I appreciate the update trudy.  As convenient as walking to comm lots might be, I'd much rather have this mod.  Wink

Duh... found it this time, thanks. Smiley

Link on page 10.
Only links I found on page 10 were for BV and Seasons neighborhoods, I'm looking for the originals.

There doesn't seem to be anything to download in the link for the Clean and Fixed Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville.  Is there anywhere else available to download them, or would they need to be reuploaded?

Someone posted a harder relationships hack at MTS2 here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=241232

It's probably less awesome than most, but it might be worth looking at to see how it works if anyone's still interested in making something like this. *shrugs*

So is this mod compatible with the inteen now?  It only says it's not required and you suggest it as an option for getting teens to woohoo.  Basically, if I install this mod along with the inteen, will I be able to have the autonomous version of adults going steady (assuming your mod loads first) without exploding anything?
13  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Correcting the DNA of Strangetown premade characters on: 2006 August 27, 19:50:05
So, for the new versions of SimPE, would this be correct?

Dominant Gene:
- Skintone = 6 (dtString) (Skin tone passed on, Dominant and Expressed)
- Skintone Range = 2 (dtString) (Parent 1)

Recessive Gene:
- Skintone = 268435462 (dtString) (Skin tone passed on, Recessive)
- Skintone Range = 268435458 (dtString) (Parent 2)

I'm not sure if that's entirely right based on what people have said, but I'm kind of confused as to what else it could be? Also, I think I read that only the expressed skin tones are passed down now, so what's the point of any of the recessive or parental values?
14  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Sims wear normal clothing on community lots (No work clothes) Version 4 on: 2005 December 02, 19:37:06
Note the reference to me when everything else is referenced by stack object

99.99% of the time they are the same thing. But not always.

EDIT: They could be different sims and the code would still work. Although i doubt the turn on/off system would work as intended.
Yeah, I hit this one with InTeen and ended up plugging this bug there.  In my case, Me was referencing the pregnancy controller - blah.  I filed a report with Maxis several weeks ago, and had hoped it would make the NL patch - but alas.  Maybe next time.

Does this mean that if we already have the InTeen installed that we don't need the fix, or does the InTeen just fix the part that involves pregnancy?

Also, when it says that they'll only wear normal, formal or SS clothes, does that mean they won't wear athletic clothes if they're jogging by the house? Some of my sims would look awfully akward running by in mini skirts and high heels. Wink It's a great hack either way, though, I always hate the NPCs showing up to parties in work clothes and it'll go great with christianlov's new clothing rack at MTS2. Smiley
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: This new furious state on: 2005 October 02, 16:39:22
I had an interesting experience with the Pleasants and their furiousness. Mary-Sue caught Daniel making out with the maid (surprise, surprise) and became furious with them. She proceded to slap Daniel, thus making him furious with her, and all was as it should be. Then the next day Mary-Sue came home from work while the two lovers were woohooing in bed, but she didn't seem to notice. I thought that maybe they had changed it in NL so that sims couldn't automatically tell whenever anyone was going at it on a lot, so I had her walk into the room while they were making out and still nothing. It was like once she was furious at her husband she didn't care enough about him (both scores were in the negative) to give a darn whether or not he went around sleeping with other people. Seemed kind of weird to me, but I had them break up just the same. Tongue
16  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Ghost Buster - Anti Ghost Device (07/21/05) on: 2005 July 25, 20:04:02
I just wanted to let you know that this hack shows up as having a corrupt OBJD with DatGen's File Maid plugin: "OBJD File name corrupt (via SimPE);" I don't know what the effect of that is, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention in case you can or want to fix it. Your clothingtool shows up with this error as well, but the rest of the million hacks of yours I have don't. And while I'm here, thank you for all your mods that make this game playable.  Kiss
