1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AM Story Progression and Supernaturals on: 2012 December 30, 21:50:00
Thank you Pescado. I asked because when you uncheck the EA Story Progression option it also greys out the options for Population Control (for obvious reasons) so I wasn't sure how AM SP would handle Supernaturals. Now I know, thank you  Grin

I have AwesomeMod installed but I don't currently use the Story Progression feature. I have unchecked all the Supernaturals from being created in my game and I would like to know if AM honors these selections or if it ignores them. I read through the Bug Report thread but saw no reference to it and Googled it, but had no joy. Would anyone be able to tell me if they are spawned with AM SP enabled?

Haha, thank you! I will do.

I have had someone send me a PM regarding the items I uploaded in this post:

http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15100.msg593854.html#msg593854

Apparently they have decrapped it and it installs, but when they go into the game, it has a button saying to buy it or something. I've never heard of this happening before. Is this happening to anyone else? Or has anyone been able to get them to work OK?

I'm currently uploading some of the items I've purchased. Sorry it's later than I said, the engineer didn't come when he said he would. I'm new to uploading and sharing files, so I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me if I have done something wrong. All items are Sim3Packs and nothing has been done to them.

The items I'm uploading (I'll edit them with links when the upload is complete) are:

Thank you. I purchased them from the store, so they haven't been decrapped. I will upload them next week.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 August 03, 20:52:09
I have the individual downloads of the chocolate fountain, the fryer, ice cream maker, wishing well, climbing wall, tablet, uber-toilet, that toddler swing thing, poker table and slot machine. I had to purge the store stuff I had because the Create A Sim was very slow loading everything, so I got the items I was wanting from these sets. I also have the set that the vibrating chair comes with too, and a few others.

Anyway, I'd like to share these with everyone, because I made use of the items people kindly shared here. What site is ideal for uploading these items?

I won't be able to upload them all until the middle of next week when my broadband gets installed. Do I need to do anything to the items before I upload them so others can use them? Or can I just upload them as they are?

Is anyone actually wanting these items on their own?

I was able to find a working link to the casino and several other Store things. This is the link to the page:

Hope that helps someone  Smiley

Neither of the links are working for me. The 4Shared one is asking me to log in and the Media Fire one doesn't do anything. I click on the download button, it tells me that my download is starting, then nothing happens other than the button going back to the original way.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How far, is too far? on: 2012 April 17, 21:12:09
All of you are overlooking one important thing: The "Tutti-Frutti"-ness of an item is DIRECTLY DEPENDANT ON THE COLOR SCHEME. Most objects and uniforms in TS3 do not have an intrinsic color that you are obliged to accept. This isn't TS2. Those same items can very well come in entirely normal, non-fruity colors if you so wish it. TS3 is actually mostly in black-and-white and the color is added afterwards.

That's what I have been thinking too. Some of the outfits would be really nice if it weren't for the silly pattern patches on them. But most, if not all, of the clothes that have the silly looking symbols on them also come with a plain option too. While I have no desire for the furniture, the outfits could be workable for some of my singer Sims.

Is there any chance you could upload the CAW files too, please?

This question was answered when I asked it.
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 April 02, 06:28:04
Just an update on the maxmotives problem. I was playing today and I stuck with one family. I went to use the cheat again and it had stopped working again. I'm now wondering if it could be something to do with the Live Venues for Showtime. It's a bit of a confusion though because I had a few shows in the same place during this playthrough and it only stopped working at the end of my session. On the last occasion the cheat went back to normal after I reloaded the game. I imagine that it will do the same thing again this time.

Also, and I don't know if this is AM related, but I've noticed that Sims become stuck on the same lot for days on end. One of my Sims graduated and there was a crowd (about 27 Sims) on the same lot. I went by it a few Simdays later and the crowd was still there outside the town hall. This is happening in a few other lots where the same Sims will remain there for days at a time. For the 20-odd Sims at the town hall, I ended up using the ResetSim * to get them all away.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 April 01, 03:36:32
The 'maxmotives' cheat no longer works after switching households using the CTRL + Click interaction. Switching households also seems to disable the right clicking centering of a sim when right clicking on the portrait in the relationship panel. I have all EPs and SPs and I'm up to date.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 March 31, 16:28:03
Would it be possible to make an addition that prevents/seriously decreases the number of vampires within a town? It's annoying that every other Sim I see in my town is a vampire now. Also, and I don't know if this is possible, but can custom traits be made? The one I was wanting is something that removes the relationship requirement for Woo Hoo. Like a town bicycle.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Premium Content Fix (updated 03.14.2012) on: 2012 March 21, 03:48:22
Thank you for these fixes. I am assuming that the overides folder would apply to all Store content mods which are in the package file format? I thought that it was you over at MTS who had made a few tweaks to the wall climbing item and was going to ask you there (I don't think it is you now though), but I don't know MTS's stance on Arr'd store content.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 March 14, 22:56:13
I did, but I started running out of drive space on my laptop. I do have an external hard drive, but I've let my dad borrow that for a while so he can watch movies while he's in Afghanistan.

EDIT: I'm redownloading January and February's torrent's and I'll just download the March one.

EDIT again: Kissing Toast, I didn't combine the package files, there were a couple of combined packages within a torrent I downloaded.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 March 14, 22:39:59
I don't know how to seperate packages. I don't even know if it is possible. If I did, then I would.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 March 14, 20:01:23
Panama Crew's seeing stars was a separate package from the March 2012 compilation.
no is a updated version of march..(whit seeing stars aggregate) is a combined package

Is there any chance that you would be able to upload a version of it on its own please? I'll give you a cookie for it Smiley
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 March 14, 00:13:34
Does anyone have a version of Seeing Stars which isn't part of the March 2012 package file? I have a combined package file of (I think) January - March already. If I were to put the new March 2012 in, would that not result in duplicates?
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2012 March 13, 20:45:01
Yes, exactly. I downloaded Create-a-world but i'm to dumb for it. I know that there were some previously created for pets, but I'm having difficulty finding them now. My original idea was to lurk the creators of those previously made do-it-yourself worlds and see if they update to showtime, but like I said, i'm having difficulty finding them.

Oh, you poor unfortunate soul. Did you never think to search one of the threads here in this very section? I was able to find a few worlds which have extra lots made that can be plopped into the town.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2012 March 12, 01:12:28
I'm looking for basically a large flat, empty world (well except for roads etc), that's already set up with all the spawners and other hidden stuff  for all the expansion packs (base to showtime). I'd like to just place all the necessary lots (late night clubs, ambitions businesses, pets stuff and show time venues, plus people to fill them) myself. Is there any such thing available out there?

Showtime has been out for less than a week. I doubt that anyone has made something yet. It seems pretty straight forward what you are after though, so why don't you just make it yourself?
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Newbie needs help on: 2012 March 11, 22:51:52
Awesomemod can be rather difficult to set up properly.  There's an excellent guide available here.

That's the guide I used too. I found it really helpful too.

Why, oh why did I click that link?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 February 18, 07:51:37
Would anyone know where I could get the January compilation set uploaded here:

http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15100.msg586605.html#msg586605

I go to get it and it seems the FBI have stuck their noses in on that site.
24  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 December 23, 14:07:28
Despair, do you have any other items in your mods folder? If so, have you tried taking them all out and putting them back in one at a time to see which one is causing the crashing? Also, have you checked to make sure that everything is compatible with your game version. I assume that since you said you have got the latest version of AM, that it is 1.29.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The "Where Can I Find This CC?" Thread - Because you fail at Google on: 2011 December 20, 19:19:48
Yeah, that was the last thing I looked at before I posted. I checked through the archives too and I'm not seeing anything. I just double checked to be sure I didn't miss it and I'm still not seeing it. I remember seeing something a few months ago, but for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it.
