TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: buying clothes for non-playables, is there a better way?

I follow Witch's instructions exactly..except I use the Simlogical teleporter to get rid of the townie and speed up the process. Just remember when you are giving them a makeover that the original color of their hair will stay the same as a personality trait. I tried giving some townies blond hair but it turned out that even though they looked blond, their personal trait stayed the original color of black.

Thank you Firefly...
This is the best teleport available for the Sims. I have used it since Monique first put it up...and a big advantage is it does not disable whatever they are teleporting from..example: teleports from chair in kitchen to 2nd floor easel. The chair in the kitchen does not become unusable and show up as alrealdy being in use by the Sim who just teleported. Thank goodness that is not a problem with this teleport.

This is very interesting. Thank you for pointing out the LTW varieties now available through FT when enthusiasm is maxed. When you listed you reduced LTW version I see you have not adjusted the Family Aspiration for having children. I would like to see brought down to a reasonable number so the lots are not so taxing on computers or the computer operator...

I also use her computer on all my home lots. I never use the items you mentioned but always used to "learn to study homework" ....cause boy is that a fast way to learn and then you can do homework on the computer or not but the initial learning is done for every child at once.
I am so is shocked that Monique has not showed up. She has an entire folder of hacks I always use. This makes 3 of my hack suppliers down in the last six months including Jordi, Squiggee and now Monique and one of my favorite sites Sims Mod Board (PC Sims) and Sim Bellas and Christian Luv.
I did tell them what great ideas they came up with, but it would have been better to have a "going away Sims Friend" party that the alternative which is to delete their folders forever.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Making a 2nd Desiderata Valley to play
|
on: 2008 March 07, 17:53:40

Got my game all installed, except I was so anxious I see if my game would run on the computer I didn't install my normal looking face templates before running the game. Now everyone is "fugly" in the valley.
Neighborhood 1 is newly installed FT Desiderata Valley and neighborhood 2 is Season's Riverbloosom I have been playing. I would like to install the Free Time hood again as Neighborhood 3 so I can have normal looking Sims for the first time. I tried copying the neighborhood from c:/EAMaxis/FT/Data/Res/Neighborhood template, F2. My current hood is named F1 and when I tried installing it as hood 3, the game would not let me install the original valley terrain with Sims and houses It said I could only install the Sims.
So, do I need to rename the origjnal hood, or copy the template files from someplace else? I know I installed Pleasantville over and over (with and without houses and Sims) so there should be no reason why I can't do this....please help.
Thanks, Good Simming Twink

I downloaded Squiggee's OFB_Customer Loyalty hack from the discontinued site. It is not listed in any of the working or non-working hacks here. It is a bright yellow picture-like Star that lets's you adjust the customer loyalty of OFB owned business shoppers...you click on the picture to raise their individual satisfaction scores thus making the business more popular in the community and worth more at the time of sale.
I ran hack scanner and it was fine....but it does show up in the game. This is a hack I really like and hope maybe someone with more experience will give it a look-see or might know of a replacement hack I could use....

Thanks, downloaded and looks so good in the game.
Pinky is such a slut..she fell for the first romance Sim that crossed her path and "did it" in the car on the driveway. The outfit was such a good idea since it looks very robotesque...like from an old Jetson cartoon.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / I need fireproof trees...
|
on: 2007 June 26, 11:10:26

I have taken all trees except the fruit trees in greenhouse off of my lots. The flashes of lightening scare me to death and then fire follows on any lot trees. I am from Northern California and I am ready for earthquakes but that blast of lightening and fire is something we don't have here, thank goodness.
If anyone comes across a site with fireproof trees, please post it here.
Thanks. Good Simming, Twink

Sorry, I'm a women, women like to bitch. Would you liek me to show you some nice tricks to recolor? Don't expect much, cuz I'm colorblind... lol j/k.
If there are tricks using bodyshop to recolor hair I would like to hear them all...I don't have any of the good paint programs so the tricks would have to be for bodyshop. Thanks Twink

Has anyone tried multiple occupants because the car blurb says it carries only one passenger at a time? This would make sense since people who had the downloaded the driveway would not necessarily hve downloaded the multiple occupants in each car.
