Anyone else had the glitch with Aurora Skies and Seasons where the sky doesn't show up correctly? Apparently it's some type of .ini file glitch where clouds don't load in a world but it's more obvious in Aurora Skies due to the importance of the cloud coverage at night, according to SimsVIP: If you are not seeing clouds in your game, save and exit to the main menu and then reload the game again. I had it the first time I loaded up the world thought it was just another epic fail on EA's behalf tbh.

If you want to go the cutlass route try games4theworld have arr'd a couple of games from there and they tend to make sure they have a solid working copy, I can say everything from Katy Perry up to Supernatural for the sims 3 from there works fine.

If the decrapified Sims 3 pack method won't work for you, why don't you try to use the package way of adding them? Seems simple enough to try the various methods offered on adding the store items until you find the one which works for you and adds all the stuff to your game.

I checked all the major CC sites before even asking, even sunk as low to check t$r, so it's not for the lack of searching it's just 300+ sites later and am no where near finding the window or a suitable one to use in conjunction with the Kyles Window. As for making it myself, I know my limits and meshing is not amoungst them, I tried once, I had to buy a new PC afterwards, we still haven't figured out how I killed it. @KT that would be absolutely amazing thank you, but only when you have the time and if it is no trouble for you, I know you are busy updating and fixing all the borked stuff from the Store which must be a full time job for you.

From what I can see and tell of the top of my head, there seems to be a lot of cc from Vitasims, namely the recliner which is part of the Rattan Outdoor set part 1, several of the furniture items are from the Cottage sets on there (which are all donation sets, so will be in the booty.) Many of the plants appear to be from the Flower set from there as well (also donation). The single window Generations curtain is from the TSR, think it's freebie.

The problem with that is there will end up being more money than needed and people could get scammed. I don't think it's such a good idea. It won't be spread out next time because one person will be buying. We already decided that.
well how about we compromise and create a thread for people to say how much they will donate ready for the next set so that we have a record and it can all be sorted out straight away and when the new set is posted they can be removed from the list once their donation has been made, that way people know who to contact, and since no money will be exchanged until it is out no one can be scammed and if we have more promises of money than is need, we can leave them on the list for future sets...

well we can start a donation thread ready for the next rip off they come up with to save the same ones from having to fork out time and again
I would say wait until the next set comes out. No point in people giving money until there is something to buy. Yeah but on the other hand if we set it up so the money is pooled ready for when it comes out then it can be downloaded immediately and the awesome techies can do all the fixes that it will most definantly need and we can get almost straight away and in one lump rather than it getting strung out lke this one has ended up being.

Okay, I mailed to 5 people who are willing to contribute via PayPal. So, hopefully we'll get this done in the next hours! I am really, really sorry - I tried to buy more sim points, but my credit card does not get accepted anymore. So - so sorry, I won't be able to get the missing stuff. But the idea is really cool, someone else, who actually can shop in the store may take this part I am not able to. Of course I send back the money I already received on my PayPal account; sorry for the extra work! Well if we have the money pooled to get the rest of the stuff and can find someone who can get it you can send it to them and they can get the stuff and upload it, not really a problem just a delay, so don;t worry about it

I'd love to contribute too, but I'm not from US or Canada too. This is only a suggestion, but is it not possible to open up a paypal account where all of us who can't but want to contribute could send money too and this account could then be used to buy the store crap? I hope I'm making sense here, I think I just made a very weird sentence Actually that makes a lot of sense, I think! I have a paypal account and I can buy from the store (even I am not in the USA or Canada). I'd be willing to take care of this, if we'd get 20 $ together (I'll take care of the rest then). Who else would like to contribute money instead of files? I'll donate via paypal as well to someone who can get the files to help complete the collection, if they pm me their paypal details will send them money asap.
