TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Male fit skintone not working

I am not sure where it is pulling it from. Maybe another age? I only have my custom defaults and then the same textures on the slim body builder mesh.
Resetting the skintone using simpe's sim surgery didn't fix anything, so I guess I'll try the 3IDR resource. It affects most of my male sims, so if anyone knows a possibly easier method I am game for that too.

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Male fit skintone not working

Hi everyone, I used Inky-Fish's male body hair changer (from Sexy Sims 2) and it has put this weird overlay on all of my fit, male sims. It only happens to the sims using my custom defaults, and only when they are naked. I removed the overlays from my sims, removed the files from my game, and the overlay (or whatever it is) will not go away. Has anyone seen this? It happens even with all CC removed.....I can't get it to go away. Custom body meshes do not have this problem. I've also extracted the skin using bodyshop just to check that all of the textures were there, and they are. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Well, I managed to get my neighborhood back. I figured I'd post how here in case anyone else sees this problem. Two of my three custom neighborhoods had disappeared but they're all back now. I removed the entire Sims folder from My Docs/EA Games and let the game regenerate a new one. Then I pasted in my neighborhood folders (N004, N007, and N010), didn't delete the NeighborhoodManager file, and deleted Groups.cache. I also put back in my downloads and saved sims folders and a few others. When I loaded the game my neighborhoods were all there and when I went into a lot everything seemed to check out fine.
I'm not sure what went wrong, and I suspect that it happening at the same time I used the Compressorizor was more a coincidence than anything else, because my new compressed download folder works well. Oh well, I hope that this can help someone who might have my same problem. It was much easier than reinstalling my game (especially since my disks are four states away).

So yesterday after I compressorized my downloads, my favorite neighborhood disappeared. I put my old, uncompressed dl folder back in, but the neighborhood is still gone and none of my backups will load, either. Is there some way I can trick the game into seeing it again? I've tried deleting groups.cache and the neighborhood manager file. I've also tried pasting my backup into a neighborhood folder that will load (it's the N004 neighborhood so I've been making the game create another N004 and pasting old files in).
There was an old post on this but is was not very helpful.
Thanks!

Thanks, Sara. That worked out really well, actually-- I found an invisible bed on MTS2 and set it all up. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out: (Sarah Tilney and her daughter, Margaret) (Margaret again, and Henry, Sarah's son.)

I am trying to do a funeral in one of my neighborhoods and I can't set it up how I want it. I have the NL coffin set up in the church and I want it to look like my sim is laying in it, but when she sleeps in the coffin she closes the lid and if I use moveobjects (moving her from another bed to the coffin) she doesn't line up properly with the pillow. Has anyone seen anything that would keep the lid open, or anything else that might work?

Also, are there any mods/hacked objects that help develop pets relationships with each other? I had two cats I wanted to breed, but they hate each other. I could edit their relationship in SimPE, but I was just curious if there was another way about it.
To alter pets' relationships, you can just use testingcheats and move the sliders. I do this for my sims' pets.

Well, the file table in SimPe is confusing to me, so the dummy sims were a necessity. I just make them townies after. Can you point me towards a method of deleting the dummies?
And it's not really any creator's fault; I combined two creators' skintones, because I really liked the males in one set and the females in another. I was checking the scalp colors in bodyshop before importing them into the game, but I guess I missed some.

A few days ago I created new skintones for my neighborhood and applied them to all residents. Now, on some of them it looks like I forgot to change the color of the scalp from the brown (is it supposed to be hair?) to flesh color; is there any way I can edit the currently installed skintone itself or do I need to go through the whole create in bodyshop/add dummy sims to hold skintone/change in SimPe ordeal?

is there a way to get sims to pose with their arms round each other for the art camera? Thatdoesnt involve hacks? I can't figure it out.
Using Squinge's Hula and More hack you can pose the sims in all the family screen poses, including the two-person one. Then you can take the picture with the camera. I haven't seen any other way to achieve this.
