You're implying that all yourother sims do not have problem with these slopes? I can't say I've seen slopes where some sims don't like and others do.. they're all very universal for me.

Well, I can edit it for you if you like and send you the re-done file?

Not that I know what an XP64 is....

That would be great, thanks!

I meant Windows XP 64-bit Edition, u kno, suppsoedly the future of computers cuz of all the 64-bitsy stuff but you really don't see anything different other than the fact u can't run any 16-bit programs and many programs that dig deep into the system or what not.

SimPE.  I checked it out, it's pretty cool.

Can't run SimPE on XP64 =(

That was fast, thanks! I do have the no buskers, but while performance for tips has gone down I find my own sims using PRACTICE for eternity. Any chance a timer to the practice action can be added for No Buskers? bubbles too tho that would deviate from the original mod.

EDIT: Automated Practices are the ones thats undesired, of course. Just in case that wasn't obvoius.

You can customize the load messages by editing UIText.package (in $OFB install directory\TSData\Res\Text\). Look for "EP3 - Startup Strings". Make sure to make a backup before trying this.

Thanks, but that file doesn't appear to be in text format. What should I be editing it with?

I seem to remember there was a hack that stops sims from being so easily addicted to playing instruments or play the bubble tower until they're about to die, but can't seem to find it again. I've upgraded my comp since then and only started playing again cuz of OFB so if I had it it is gone now. Greatly appreciate it if someone can point me to it.

There probably is a mod that allows you to change your iris (contacts!) so I'll just ask if anyone knows where I might find it?

As for the stupid request: Do the load screen messages of the past 2 expansions annoy the heck out of anyone besides me? They've gotten a lot less witty to the point of retarded and I SO MUCH prefer those of original/Uni's. Could there be a hack that randomizes which edition it loads from or, just let us choose which edition we like? I mean sometimes these messages are so dumb that when I got nohting else to do to kill that couple minutes I wind up reading them and start my game off in a bad mood =(

I see. Thanks anyway.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Marriage, Post-Mortem for PRE-mod sims on: 2006 April 24, 05:41:21
I actually posted this at MTS2 a week ago but I decided this place is more awesome:

----------------------

Okay I admit this isn't a mod request but a program request, but I don't know where else to ask.

I'm sure SimPE can do this, but unfortunately that doesn't run on WinXP64. Would someone be willing to write a patch that would search through all deceased sims and reassociate the latest marriage in their memory, if their spouse is not currently married to someone else?

To avoid problems, if both members are deceased, run check both for their latest marriage memory and see if they agree, if not then associate only the one with a more recent memory to his/her proper spouse.

Since it only check memory for each dead sim and modify marriage bonding, I don't imagine this would be too difficult? I'm sure there's other players who would be deeply grateful for this as well.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Disease Contagious? + Angry Employees on: 2006 April 24, 05:34:28
Ya.. i figured this might be the case. Until today I figured if i always remember to not leave the lots with sick people I should be fine, but then i found out people can get sick from food or being in the hot tub too long and this time my sim got sick while I was having a full party......
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Disease Contagious? + Angry Employees on: 2006 April 24, 03:07:46
Disease:

Does anyone feel/notice that sickness seems contagious? Everytime one sim gets sick nearly everyone else starts to get sick too!

I had a lot of sick sims then played another lot, seems like my sims will get sickeverytime the sick people visit, and i start seeing other visiting sims (playable but not currenlty controlled) coughing. After I quarenteened affected lots off in a room w/o doors and waited 'til they're better and play normal again everyone seems to be fine once more.

If there isn't one already (i looked through the hacks directories and googled the site, couldn't find any) is it possible for a mod to:
1) Make non-active sims immune to sickness.
2) Remove the spread of disease from one person to another.

----------
OFB Employees:

Is it possible for a mod to make sure Managers/Employees avoid severely fighting/irritating their enemies at all costs during work? I mean seriously, no matter how much you hate the person you just don't do anything while you're on the job.. at worst you'd give them bad/non-service, not poking and attacking. If they come to bug ya then just duck outta the way or something.
