Kissing Toast: Well it is not the biggest, basassed gaming PC, but I played the sims 3 just fine up to Seasons. No lag, no stutters unless I sent someone on vaction. Even then it was only when there were alot of sims. Since seasons I have a CTD problem I was hoping the patch would fix. This little PC of mine also plays Skyrim with over 70 mods with the setting on high. Though it can not handle ultra high I admit. So it should be able to handle one little super patch. As far as your questions, yes to everyone of them.

Well I have tried rebooting. Unfortunately not a solution. I should also mention my OS is Vista 32bit, I have 4gigs of ram only 3gigs recognized, also an AMD atholon(tm) II X 2 processor 3ghz, and a Nvida GeForce GTS 250. Not sure if that info helps or not. Anyways still looking for a solution.

Ok, I downloaded the super patch. Vista threw a fit about where it came from. I instructed it to run anyways. However, it will not install. Just happily hangs there with nothing more then a vista spinner at the mouse pointer. I end up having to shut down, because, it doesn't even show up as running in the task manager. I have tried shutting off my anti-virus, as well as telling vista to allow it. Even tried running it as administrator. Anyone have any ideas of why it may not be running?

I am searching for a medieval saddle accessory for the Sime 3 pets to fit in with my medieval neighborhood. I have tried searching for one, and have come up empty. If someone would be willing to create one for me, or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I did find objects of some for the sims 2 at Plumb Bob Keep. they are a Skrim conversion. I do not know if they can be used to create a saddle for the sims 3. However, I have a picture of them as well as a link to thier download. It also includes horse armor, it would be nice if that could be converted as well, though I am not certain it would be possible. Link to downloads: (It's at the bottom of the page) http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=2525&start=160Edited to add additional picture.

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread

Just some feed back. I believe your still working with the new Pets Ep, so I just wanted to state a problem I discovered. Twice now I have had a cat go off the grid, and am unable to get them home. They are stuck out in an area they can not return from. They are slowly starving to death, and nothing I have tried has set them on the path home. I just installed Awsome Mod today, and until it was installed I had not encountered this problem before. I am attempted to reload the game now, and hoping it resets my cat.
Edit: Restarting the game didn't seem to help. Poor kitty is still stuck. Any ideas?

I am actually requesting two different objects in this post. The first is a mod of the Mullet Fence in game without the extra post. Does anyone know if it has already been modded without the post, or would someone be willing to make this fence without all the extra posts? I am aware it may leave a gap in its place, but I am trying to build the home I grew up in, and this is the closest I have come to the correct porch railing on the house. The second request is for a column that is a clone of the Mullet fence post. The columns on the porch were simillar to them as well. So far all of my google searching has brought no results, and I read every page of this request thread without seeing any previous request for the Mullet fence. A link to the fence I am requesting the mods for. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h97/realmscat/Screenshot-20.jpg

I have a somewhat stupid question. Hopefully I won't get to razzed for it. However, is it possible to convert this same stuff for TSM for The Sims 2. I still love to play that game and would enjoy these objects in the game.

I always turn off all unnecessary programs running in the background. Compressing the files might work as far as the mods folder goes. If I recall correctly there was also a way to combine package files so there wasn't so many in the folder as well. Though I have not as yet found the tutorial again. Still I'm wondering if there is a way to make the game run more smoothly. Even without mods, if there is a lot of stuff in a large house, or large areas like when you go on vacation. Sometimes the game will even stutter then. Anyways, I appreciate all the help.

Seeing as search has been fruitless for me, I decided to face the firing squad, to ask a question. I'm having some issues with my game studdering, and such. Exspecially if my download folder gets a bit bloated. Which then I am forced to remove stuff I would love to keep. Anyways onwards. Here is part of the issue, this I understand. I am running on 4Gigs of Ram, and a 3ghz dule core. Follow will post system info..Issue is I still have XP because I can't afford a new OS. I was told by someone with more knowledge then I that XP will not reconizes 4gigs. OK get it, what I want to know is. Is there a way I can change something in the game itself..(I have the 2 EPs and 1 SP so far) that would help with the studdering problems. Now please I ask you be gentle, and explain in laymens terms. I'm not stupid, but also not the brightest lightbulb in the pack. Thank you for your time.

Well looks like my name is on the list as well. All the proof I need they nixed the names from the petition seeing as I very seldom post here, and I have nothing to do with TSR. So how else would they even get my name. Personally it really ticks me off they have the nerve to do such a thing, if I had the means I would make certain the went down the tubes so to speak. I wonder if filing a formal complaint would do any good. Anyways I'm not entirely surprised they are idiots on so many levels.

Just for information, the following are my system specs. I'm running the game just fine on high settings. The only thing I have noticed so far is an occasional grey out of the textures that last maybe a second before they appear again.

Not sure if anyone has decided yet..but here is a couple suggestions for Febuary's contest. If I am posting ones already done or concidered then please forgive. Old Silo Farm Veronaville: Perhaps require that everything already there must remain? 73 Road to Nowhere Strangetown: I have always hated this lot. I can't play it without nearly tearing the entire house down and rebuilding it. 10 Oak Street Pleasantview: Just pretty much a useless cabin to me. It dosen't even have room for a shower in the bathroom.

@originalhalf: These are the things I notied when playing the house. It runs a bit slow at times, more then likely due to my machine it is above the requirements yet it is still not high end. The Diagonal couch has its' issues as far as wanky animations when played on, and at times they will walk through it. Other then that the only real fubar was the telescope. I hadn't noticed right way but the great divider is in the way of looking through it. Everything else ran smoothly though I personaly think the AI for using doors is a bit warped. I have always thought that which is why I usually remove any door but the front door. So I did notice they used the side door to often for my likings. @Witch: Oops! I deserve to loose the points, I should read the rules throughly instead of skimming over them. Now I feel truely blonde.
