Inge, Would you be willing to elaborate on your conversation with Thomas? No matter how I look at it I cannot come up with a logically justified reason for him to spread around that information, especially since it is not his information to spread around. It was not public and no one on that list gave permission for him nor anyone else on TSR to see it.
Yes, the situation arose from ... That right there is some good shit! I don't even care about this bit of drama one way or the other and I was fascinated. Forget MOAR fight, I want MOAR double secret agent action.

Honestly, Joragnaza, there really isn't anything to critique. I think your gardens fit perfectly with the homey, cottage style house; especially the yard you used the terrain with the flower petals. There's a nice mix of plants and deco objects and nothing is rigidly lined up or over done.
Maybe a hint of a thin line of lighter grass around the planters would add some realism? The solid green grass maybe looks a little too solid on the one side. Not very helpful, I know, but I think the landscaping compliments the house beautifully.

Prosthetics - Nice job comming up with a roof, or six, for your house and I like the color as well. Since chobeegal asked, the grass is a bit too patchy for my tastes but the palm tree was a nice touch. lizbeth - I really like the exterior of your house. The red windows and doors look great with the neutral siding and brick. I like the floor plan as well. chobeegal - Wow! That's crazy good! I thought I'd try a house this month because the Cozy Co-Op was small and didn't look to intimidating. Four or five hours later I managed to come up with an unfurmished starter. My hat's off to all of you who do this every month! Comfortable Co-Op$17,459 (depreciated) 2 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Phone & Alarms All Expansion & Stuff Packs There's easily enough open floor space to add a third bathroom or bedroom. And the kitchen and stairs can be walled off if coraling guests is your thing. ExteriorInteriorLayoutLot BinDownload: http://www.mediafire.com/?janjef0jjzz

chobeegal - + 10 for color and creativity. - 15 for choking that poor house with plants, shrubs and trees. OK, Honeywell, so I guess you don't like plants/flowers/shrubs/trees. Are you like those people who go and buy a beautiful wooded lot (which because of the trees costs a lot more than the barren lot next to it) and then bulldoze them all out? If I had my way, those kind of people would be prosecuted for stupidity. If you want a "naked" lot then buy the one that already is. Don't pay extra money to get the one with trees and then murder them. Personally I love to have lots of trees and greenery surrounding me and where I live. Rather than "choking" anything, they add a sense of freshness, "breathability", and yet privacy to a home. My one great complaint w/ Sims2 is that if I actually put as much "landscaping" into a Sims lot as I would like to have in RL, it makes the house totally unplayable. Oops. I didn't realize you were crazy. I meant to say +15 for wrapping that house in the loving embrace of plants, shrubs and trees.

I love seeing what everyone comes up with each month. If this was the BBS I'd hand out benes and stars but it's not so all you get is my opinion. Sorry. Jorganza - Awesome. Minena - I love the beach colors and the simple, uncluttered furnishings. ciane - Cute! vibble - I'm not crazy over the boxy, symmetrical look and your pictures don't show enough detail for me to find something I do like. Sipu von Sapu - Cute! I like the stucco and siding combination. But why did you put the refrigerator and stove in that closet? Liveangel - Cheesy! I really like the covered patio area and probably something else but I can't get past the color. chobeegal - + 10 for color and creativity. - 15 for choking that poor house with plants, shrubs and trees.

If you want a crisp, clean looking white use a pattern without any texture. Under the Misc. tab there's one lonely swatch that's white. Try that.
I already did that. The problem is that the alpha for the shadows for the said objects is too dark. My guess is they made it so it shows on dark colours as well. But for the light colours it is too dark. Also, the clean white does not look clean and white, it's more like a mix of pixelated white, cream, pink, grey and green. I repeat, I tried this without a texture. All white objects show this issue, including the fridge and the oven. Are you sure that's the problem? Because when I use that swatch in my game things actually look white. *shrugs*

I also have an issue with the dark shadows on the objects. I tried to make *white* towels but the result was more like dirty white towels. And the same thing happened with the curtains, the bedsheets, the leather couch that's also in sims2.
Just wanted to say that I have the same card and the same problem with grey textures that should be white... dunno if it's the game or the card though that does it... but I guess on the game. If you want a crisp, clean looking white use a pattern without any texture. Under the Misc. tab there's one lonely swatch that's white. Try that.

Did anyone else notice an inventory wipe after switching house holds?
Same just happened to me, for the first time in about 10 switches. And it only happened to one sim out of a family of 4. But her guitar and song books were gone. <snip> Ok, so I guess it's a bug instead of a feature. Do you think if EA tried really hard they could come up with a bug that would piss off people more? I was just checking the game out so I wasn't really invested in my progress but if I was playing "for real" and actually paid money for the game I'd be screaming pretty loud about now.

I was trying to figure out how to get a "romantic interest" to move in, get married, engaged... anything really besides fuck buddy. I switched the active family to see if I'd have better luck playing that side, I didn't of course. But when I switched back to the original family, as expected, the wants were all gone but so was their entire inventory. I'd think that losing actual possessions (all that collectible crap they're so keen on) would merit a warning too.

I'm in the process of building an apartment lot and somehow I have invisible cabinets, appliances and closets. Re-zoning the lot from apartment to residential and back hasn't made the objects reappear in build mode or when renting. Can I use the Stuck Object Remover to delete the invisible objects?
