I sadly have to say that the U.S. has really regressed down the line toward Socialism. With big spending budgets lately, yeah that is Socialism and yeah oppression. Take from the rich and give to the poor. But take from the middle class and give to rich like they did with that last large spending bill. What was that? Was that some kind form of Capitalism, or something else? That is Kleptocracy. That's not really an -ism. It's not really an economic policy at all. Will when it comes to the sims type of government. Will let's see sims main aim is collecting wealth, main goals reach the highest rank of their career branch. And gossip about who is rich? Will that would be Capitalism. Share food with neighbors freely, a Capitalist would never do that though. Sure they would. Humans have been sharing food before economics were even invented, as a form of pro-economics. Before people invented food preservation, one man could not eat an entire antelope. Today, they more take the form of communal, social events which really have nothing to do with economics. Kleptocracy! Wow learned a new word, thanks for the correction. I learned something new today. I always like learning something new. All these new forms of words today used in politics. Government corruption hum that is even more terrible.

Just want to say a BIG thanks to all who are working on AM's Storymode... as today, it threw me a cool surprise when my celebrity sim, Zac Efron, who is set-up to be one of RV's hottest bachelors with Flirty, Charismatic, Great Kisser, Friendly, and a few other traits but NOT Hopeless Romantic, Family Oriented or Commitment Issues... asked an EAxis woman to "Break Up" with her hubby autonomously... very N.I.C.E. ! And not what I really wanted him to be doing but if he ends up asking every woman he woohoos with to do this everytime, my 'hood should have a lot of broken hearted husbands which could be really funny ! Great job so far everyone and can't wait to see what will happen in the future of the game w/more development and elements added... Brava ! That's kind of strange that your Flirty sim flirts are being accepted by other sims who have partners. Ever since taking out Indie Stone Story Progression Mod and turning on awesomemod story mod my Flirty sims have had no success in partner stealing even at 100% friendship. And this is a new hood, that I have never used Indie Stone on. The only success they have had in partner stealing is with sims that have the flirty trait, and before turning on awesomemod story mod my flirty sims where able to partner steal any sim they had at 100% friendship. I was very disappointed with this, because it took all the fun and drama away. And it was fun to breakup sims and see who story mod would pair them up with. Plus it would mess up the gene pool a bit. Sims born in the game with the same parents look so much alike.

As the history books have shown both true Capitalism and Communism have been both detrimental to their societies. Since it is only part of human nature to fight against the oppressors, both governments eventual crumble into some sort of government that lies between true Capitalism and Socialism as can be shown by two big nations of our days, Russia and the United States of America. What is the best form of government? Only future history has the answers for that.

Will that would be Capitalism. Share food with neighbors freely, a Capitalist would never do that though. So I would say a medieval sort of government. Where do anything you can to acquire wealth, but show off that wealth by giving big feast and parties and inviting the neighbors.

I have noticed since taking out Indie story mode and using awesome story mod that the little bit of drama that was in the game has disappeared. My flirty sims flirts are not accepted anymore from sims with partners, even if they are at 100% friendship. They just throw up their hands and that is it. All the fun is gone for my flirty sims steeling other sims partners. No more fun in my flirty sims getting caught partner stealing and getting snubs from sims offend by it. No more the option to say I feel sorry for so and so. I just loved it with Indie mode when I got a popup that said who ever just cheated on who ever I feel sorry for them, and then they gave the cheating sim the cold shoulder.
It just is not fair that flirty townie sims can flirt with sims with partners in the rabbit holes. But my playable flirty sims are left out in the cold.
One other thing this would really mess up game play for those sims having the life time wish of having 10 boy friends.
I don't want to put Indie mod back in. Can't stand all those babies being born and opportunities being broken each time I changed households. And the opportunities would play really havoc with the game, if they were associated to any rabbit hole. If I forgot to cancel them out before changing households. Sims would loose options like taking a class of some kind with what ever rabbit hole the opportunity was associated with.

Ok, next time it happens I will try to get pictures, but it will be hard with the game going in and out of long pauses. But untill it happens again I will try to explain the situation better. For I really want a mode to stop landlord and neighbor complaints.
Will for example you know that neighbors in apartments will complain if their is dishes left in the common area or on a balcony, a garbage can knocked over and stinky garbage, an old newspaper left outside. But they useually won't complain unless they fell it is to messy. When their is a toddler or baby in the apartment, it compounds the problem though, since baby bottles, and potty chairs are messy. And a nanny will wait for the baby bottles to start be stinky before picking them up. By that time there is alot of baby bottles thrown around. Though this won't happen with neighbors who babysit, they pick up the bottles right after feeding the toddler or baby.
So when a neighbor feels it is to dirty they will complain, which is really annoying. The neighbor will ring the doorbell and the sim well stop whatever they are doing and drop out everything in their que to answer the door to hear the neighbor's complaint and than walk a long ways back into their apartment and up the stairs if their is a second floor in their apartment. It will cause a brief pause in the game. But before they can clean up the mess another neighbor will ring the doorbell, and the process will start all over again.
Now the landlord will complain for the same reasons as above just after they arrive arround nine o'clock in the monrning when most sims are at work. Now when the landlord complains it will for some reason cause a long pause in the game from about a half a minute to a minute, and they will keep doing this over and over again. They will keep ringing the doorbell over and over again when their is no sim availble to answer the door. So I will get the long game pauses over and over again. And usuallly the game is in fast forward at this time too. And in the process the landlord gets no yard work done.
If their is a sim at home at the time to answer the door, the landlord willl ring the doorbell again before the sim has time to clean up the mess. And like above with the neighbor complaints, the sim will loose everything in their que and answer the door and do the long walk back into the apartment and up the stairs. By the time the sim reaches the top of the staris the landlord has ringed the doorbell again. So the only solution is to use the moveobject on cheat to get rid of all the stinky mess. I like to add someting to the above. I think what is the cause of the long pauses is the landlord is resetting themselves, when their is no sim availble at home to answer the door. The landlord or a neighbor will cause the long pause in the game I found too if I counsel out the neighbor or landlord complaint before the sim answers the door.

I found that putting a garbage shoot in the hallways where your sim's doors are works for the newspapers. He wants to come into your house to throw the paper away but if its out in the hallway, he doesn't have to.
No that is not what is happening in this situation the landlord does not ring the doorbell when they cannot get to the garbage shoot. They only ring the doorbell when they have a complaint. I have had the landlord trying to get to the garbage shoot before picking up the paper and throwing their hands around in the air, and opened the door for them. They did not ring the doorbell and cause the game to go into a long pause though. But thanks for trying to help out.

Not good at rhymes, but I thought I would give it a try.
I would like a some sort of revenge spell. Something like the following:
Dulcis Ultionis (Sweet Revenge) Plaga poke , is sim leviculus pro is mereo mereor is. (Slap, poke, this sim silly for he deserves it.)
All the sims in the vincinity will start poking, slapping, attacking the cursed sim depending on their relationship with cursed sim.

I hate it when the landlord complains, because it slows down the game. Landlords always seem to complain when their is an old newspaper outside, and a toddler in the apartment. They seem to clean up the old newspapers fine with no toddlers around. It's just annoying that they will keep picking up the newspaper and drop it and ring the door bell, while the parents are at work and only the toddler is at home with a nanny. The game stops with a long pause over and over again. The only way to get the landlord to stop complaining is to click on buy mode and wait for it to popup. Use the moveobject on cheat and delete the old newspaper, all the baby bottles and dirty dishes.
I was wondering if a stop landlord compliant mod exist? And if there is not a mod for this, it would be nice if someone could make a stop landlord compliant mod. Thanks.

I had the antiredundancy hack in my download folder while testing. Sorry I did not mention that the antiredundancy hack was in my download folder, and it was the updated version for AL. So there is a need for a social sim hack.
Other individuals at the main sims 2 board have claimed that the notownieregen in their download folder is not stopping the spawning of social townies whenever you visit a community lot.

It would be nice if a no spawning social townies hack is made available. I know the notownieregen updated AL version is suppose to stop the spawning of the new social townies sims after visiting community lots. I have tested the notownieregen hack and social townies are still be spawned after visting community lots.
I made a new neighborhool created a whole bunch of sims in CAS and made them social townies with the npc & townie gun about 90 of them. Put the notownieregen updated for AL in the download folder. Made a couple of apartment buildings and stuck a couple of family's in each building. Now you would think the game wouldn't make any more social sims, but it does every time I visted a community lot. After playing the game for a long time I started seeing new faces showing up, social townies I did not create. I than put the ijTeleporterApartments into the download folder, and then checked to make sure these where social townies. And yes the new game generated sims show up in the social sims families on the teleporter.
So I would really really appreciate if a no spawing social townies hack could be created. Thanks.

Hi, I started a new hood. Made all the usual townies, downtowines, etc.... in CAS. It all went fine with putting the CAS sims into their groups, townies, downtowines, social groups, locals. I used argon towniebrick to accomplish it all, except for the social group sims I had to use the npc & townie gun.
But when it came to making the tourist I made in CAS into tourist it was a no go. Argon towniebrick does not have the make into tourist option, so I tried using the npc & townie gun. But for some reason turning CAS made sims into tourist is missing on the npc & townie gun that comes with AL. It has generate a vacation tourist 1, tourist 2, ect... But their is no make into tourist 1, tourist 2, ect. under make into vacation sim on the npc & townie gun. Though make into local tourist is their on the npc & townie gun. It was a very disappointing after making all those tourist, in CAS and not being able to make them into tourist.
