1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 December 27, 01:46:02
Received for Wintermas holiday all expansions and stuffs released after Late Night.  Installed everything in correct order, patched, updated AM just to be on the safe side.  Game crashes every time I try to race horses.  Only mods in place are AM and nointro.  Removed everything, game works.  Replace nointro, game works.  Remove nointro, replace AM, crash.  Suggestions?
I have no idea why you would be crashing there, since I have raced plenty of horses without issue. Anything special about those horses?

Not to my knowledge.  It's just a horse I adopted from the shelter (via phone) and have been training for a bit.  And as I said, it works fine when I take AM out.  :/

Searched for this but don't find it anywhere. Possible search-fail, possible something else.

Have you tried playing an unpatched game? Are you using any mods? No one else seems to have this problem.

I have no mods at all, but I haven't tried an unpatched game. That honestly did not occur to me.  I'll give that a shot and see what happens.  Thank you for the suggestion.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 June 14, 04:44:00
From memory, it won't save until you finish the tutorial. Have you finished the tutorial before you tried to save the game?

I did, yes.  Yesterday I got all the way through the first quest with the Monarch and into the first quest with the Knight.  Nothing saved.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 June 13, 18:15:17
So, against my better judgment, I bought TSM.  Installed, patched, everything works fine... but it won't save.  If I click "save," I get the "wait" icon for about a second, then it goes away.  "Save As," it asks me for a file name, same thing.  Save and Quit won't do a thing - in fact, when I tried to do that, I ended up having to shut the game down via the task manager.

Does anyone have any suggestions (other than "kill it with fire")?
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE MUNICIPALITY NEEDS YOU! SUPPORT THE MUNICIPALITY! on: 2010 November 12, 19:37:04
I know $30 isn't much but it's all I could afford.

Thanks for all your hard work, Pescado.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Saving worlds which were edited in-game? on: 2010 June 19, 16:48:38
I was afraid that was what I would have to do.  Thanks, Claeric.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Saving worlds which were edited in-game? on: 2010 June 19, 15:35:33
Does anyone know if there is a way to save a world which I have edited in-game as an actual world rather than as a save-game?  The reason why I am asking this is because I have severely borked something and am not awesome enough to figure out how to fix it, so I'm trying to be creative and work around it.  Something is badly wrong with my Riverview - a lot of the rabbit hole lots are just no longer in existence - and I can't get CAW to run at all.  So I cobbled together a nice, working version of a neighborhood that looks a lot like Riverview, only using Sunset Valley and Twinbrook buildings.  I'd like to save this as a new world (Lakeview, perhaps?), but I can't work out if there's a way to do this from within TS3 itself.  I'm running a full game, all EPs and SPs.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent on: 2010 May 30, 14:59:41
To those having trouble with RiverView, try the instructions here:
http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,18408.msg535029.html#msg535029
After you install Riverview, you will find a new .dbc file in DCCache. You can rename that file to RiverView.dbc. I believe that the lack of this file has been where everyone trouble came from. I am assuming that the people having trouble didn't grab the first torrent, which had that information already in it.

I actually have two new DBC files:  dcdb0 and dcdb1.  dcdb0 is 494,584KB and dcdb1 is 59,899KB.  Do you happen to know which of these is the one I should rename?
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Game crashing when I try to build a basement on: 2010 April 30, 01:05:11
Aha.  Yes, this house did come from the bin and yes, it does have a pool.  That answers that question.  Thank you very much.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Game crashing when I try to build a basement on: 2010 April 29, 23:03:58
To my knowledge I do not have any default replacement anythings.  I'll double check though.  Thanks for the suggestion.  Smiley

Edit: It is definitely not CC.  I removed all my CC except the mods noted above and am still having the same problem.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Game crashing when I try to build a basement on: 2010 April 29, 22:40:33
I absolutely can not figure out what the problem is.  For CC, I have AM, NRaas's career and school mods, one custom career and one that makes the martial arts and nectar-making skill books available for purchase.

I haven't played in awhile, so when I loaded up today, I upgraded AM and also my patches.  I know the patches are right (finally) because I'm not getting the core mismatch error any more.

The problem is, I'm trying to build a basement onto the house I'm playing.  I go to Build Mode, I click the Basements icon, and the game crashes to desktop.  Every single time.

I can't find any information about this and I have no idea what the problem may be.  Can anyone help?

Thanks.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesome Mod Lag on: 2010 January 09, 23:56:11
I was wondering if anyone else gets lag after playing with the Awesome Mod. I have a feeling its the story, when I remove the awesome mod all of my lag goes away. The lag starts to show up after three or four days of playing a new game. Ive already tried reducing my graphic settings but this does nothing, this is why I think its the story driver; wouldn't that create more processes? Does anyone have any ideas? I already cleared out my cache folder as well.
My specs are:
AMD 2.2 GHz  dual core
4 gb ram
geforce gtx 275

ITS:  Possessive pronoun: belonging to the thing referred to.  The boat came loose from its mooring.

IT'S: Contraction of "it is."  It's time for all these tards to get off the freaking Internet.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 18:13:26
I am amazed at the pleasure people get in using abusive & insulting language. What is surprising for me is that this comes from a group of players who play Sims, a game, which I consider a game of love.
And whats a DIAF?

NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR FUCKING OPINION.  SHUT UP AND DIAF.
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 17:56:51
Grimma, As you have correctly mentioned, "sporking and insulting are medalling sports ", I am also not arguing but also having some fun & pulling a few legs. The test, which I have happened to hyperlink, is also taken from MATY. Seriously, midnight on Saturday is not the right time to argue, is it?  Grin

Rainne, Now you can't blame me for the wrong grammar, I have done a spell check in Word. I guess you have to get Gates, or suggest a better spellchecker.

Midnight on a Saturday, huh?  Guess you think everyone at MATY is on the same time zone as you.  For me, it's only noon on Saturday and it's a great time to stomp the shit out of a tardly 12 n00b like yourself.

Also, fuck your spell check in Word.  Word spell checks for shit, and doesn't grammar check at all.  I guess you have to get a fucking brain and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Also, FUCK YOU.  DIAF.
16  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 17:10:42
Grimma, I am not missing the point,; I know my English is bad, but it is better than your & Rainne's choice of words. Also, please let me know which forum rules tell us not to post if we don't know proper language. I thing think pride lies more in good usage of words rather than pointing out silly mistakes. Like I said, the post where the trouble started was copied from Pescado's post. and We all know it's the matter in his post, which is more important.

You are missing the point!  You keep making comments about Grimma's choice of words and mine, and I am telling you that this is MATY, we aren't fucking NICE here.  We eat retards like you for snacks.  This isn't the nicey-nice no-swearing bene-giving BBS; this is MATY, and our motto is MOAR FIGHT.  As long as you hang out here with your retarded little comments and your refusal to use proper grammar, you're going to get sporked to all fuck every time you post, no one is going to take you seriously, and everyone is going to assume you are a tard or an idiot 12.

In short, READ THE FAQ and
.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 14:33:52
Hi, welcome to MATY, now fuck off.
This is grammatically incorrect.
Secondly there is no word called "stickied".
 Grin

1) Your little smilies aren't going to magically make me like you more.  In fact, seeing them fills me with a burning hatred of you.

2) Hi, welcome to MATY; now, fuck off and die.  (Better?)

3) There most certainly is a word called "stickied," you ignorant fuckstick.  It means the thread has been made a sticky, and should be found (amazingly enough) near the top of the thread list.  That's why threads get stickied; so they stick at the top.  Try correcting someone else next time; you should have better luck if you pick someone that's as fucking stupid as you are.  I assure you that I am not.

4) Go read the fucking FAQ and STOP POSTING until you have done so.
18  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 14:10:09
Rainne, Now you are showing your true colors.

You say that like this is some kind of surprise.  Did you expect MATY to be some kind of warm and fuzzy forum you could come to and everyone would stroke your head and tell you how awesome you are?  IT'S NOT.  MATY is a cesspool of seething hatred and you just walked right into the middle of it.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Asherton, a neighborhood you can play with: The unpopulated version on: 2010 January 09, 14:00:40
I like it!  I'm downloading it as we speak.  Personally, I am impressed with anyone who can build a locale with that stupid CAW tool; it is apparently far more awesome than I, for I cannot work out how to do anything with it besides accidentally create gigantic mountains.

Edit: Question - after installing and poking at the hood a bit, I am curious where the "huge ass" lots are - the version I have got seems to be comprised entirely of tiny lots.  Not that this is a bad thing, as space constraints will definitely force me to get creative; I'm just curious.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Delete All Characters booboo redux on: 2010 January 09, 13:55:24
Since you're talking about an EAxis neighborhood, if you want it again you can retrieve it from the Program Files folder.

The directory to copy is Program Files\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSData\res\UserData\Neighborhoods\E001. Copy that to your Neighborhoods folder.

Won't it regenerate anyway, even if I do nothing, the next time I load the game? I quite like some of the families, but not enough to put up with all of them, and I realise it's all-or-none.

No, it won't.  Once you do something to a hood in TS2, it's permanent unless you delete the modified hood and replace it with a clean copy of the original.
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 13:48:30
3.   Where are the forum rules?

They're stickied.  It's called FAQ.  Read them, asshole.

any civilized forum.

Hi, welcome to MATY, now fuck off.

Still you can post me the link of the forum rules so I can go through them.

Or you can go fucking find them like everyone else, and not be a lazy bitch.  What am I, your fucking mother?
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 09, 02:31:23
I means the sims whom I have sent to China, do not show their control panel in the bottom of the screen . The various panels at the bottom of the screen appear but are blank. My sims are selectable & can do the commands that I tell them to do but the action queue is no longer visible.
Please don't worry too much about the error , this is just for feedback ,. I don't play much & can always start a new game.
Thanks for the attention.

& Rainne , I don't understand one word of what you are saying.

Clearly you do not, as you repeatedly make the same errors in grammar over and over, despite the fact that I have pointed them out to you in my correction of your previous post.  You need to examine the corrections I have made, both here and in my last comment, and you need to stop talking until you learn how to do it properly.  Had you read the forum rules before vomiting your idiocy all over them, you would have known that correct grammar is not just a suggestion here, it is a requirement.

Furthermore, you need to be aware that although I did not correct them here, spaces do not belong between words and commas or periods.  Please observe that, at no point, have I spaced before typing a comma or a period.

Stop posting until you are able to do so without being a complete moron.
23  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Registered Offender on: 2010 January 08, 19:36:12
The criminal avoided going to China so that he should no longer find himself suddenly married to a random, usually-deceased vacationlander and the parent of random children with people with whom they never had sex with. When this was fixed in AM, I took him to China. Now the Sims' icons don't appear in China.
If my data files are messed up, then do I re-install my game, or start a new game, or can I repair my datafiles.?

Your speaking privileges really need to be revoked until you've been beaten about the head and shoulders with a grammar text.

Hi, If your looking for the SuperComputer by NRaas Industries you can find it here (1.8 & 2.3): http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=1300.0
For older versions (1.4 & Below): http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?board=107.0

Your is possessive - something that belongs to you.

You're is a contraction meaning "you are."

Really, this is second grade grammar shit, people.

Ahhh I didn't know the debug abduct was borked.  I need to go find some faster-abduction hacks, methinks.

Thank you.
