Teens are young, impulsive, have poor sense of consequences, and often have been fed very faulty information about sex and contraception. And a 12 year old getting knocked up isn't because she's got some perverse desires - it is either because her family failed her or her family has outright victimized her or someone else victimized her. She's 12, she is not capable of informed consent. Frankly most "desires" aren't "perverse" so much as personal. I know very few people - male or female - who've reached an age of glorious acceptance of self and understanding of the world who "fear" what's in their spank bank. There are, however, a lot of people out there with an invested need to see that women in particular are as non-sexual as possible while also being only sex objects - the whole madonna and whore false dichotomy. Only people afraid to examine - and if needed, walk away from - the suffocating patriarchy we're all raised in don't "get" women (because we're not "other") or assume we're somehow crazier than men. Women are better socializers, socially bred and trained to be the normalizers. The patriarchy is real, and studiable, and well researched, and it hurts men as well as women. Entire generations of men were raised (and are still being raised) to view women as mysterious and frightening and not quite "us". This kind of man is often a very poor partner, and will miss out on true friendship with women, as well. We have lived in a strictly patriarchal society for thousands of years, thinking it disappeared overnight just because women can vote now or something is seriously short sighted.
Read up on the invisible backpack of privilege. And do some real research into what the patriarchy is before you snidely dismiss it.

I use Claeric's Paradise Lite as the abandoned military-ish installation. You have to pick and choose which rabbitholes you use (via rugs) but that's half the fun for me. You want to be an astronaut, little Sim? Aww, too bad. Everyone's in close proximity and interacts a lot, and since a lot of people are unemployed and feed off the garden, they tend to have time to hang out. I like the no roads, I don't understand why people make tiny islands with roads.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Recovering my key after Windows died, now using Ubuntu Karmic Koala.

I have my disk. I cannot find my manual because I'm an idiot and recently moved. At some point after the move, my Windows installation died and died hard. I suspect it was the hard drive because we also can't install Ubuntu on that machine. (Windows disk is also missing.) I can see some of my files when I run that machine with Ubuntu from the disk drive. Can I find my Sims 3 registry key that way somehow, and if so, how? Because I will be a little peeved if I have to pay the $10 stupid tax to get a replacement number. We have this second machine of parts given by various friends. There's no driver for the ATI graphics card, and there was no OS, but Ubuntu runs fine on this and Sims 3 was installing through PlayOnLinux just fine until it asked for my key, and I opened my case... and the manual wasn't there. I hate bothering anyone over silly things like this, but after exhausting my googlebone and coming up with nothing useful, I figured if anyone could help, it would be the people here.

MTS2 judged my George Raft Sim unworthy the same week they accepted pretty much the scariest Hugh Laurie I've ever seen. *shrugs* I love the Spock brows. That child's scary as heck with them, and that's what my neighborhood needs, more creepy children. (They're also perfect for my Elves.)

Yes, I'm sorry, I should have been more clear, I was referring to the one at Oepu's link. The creator is trying to fix that now. However, if yours is non replacement, I would snap that up in a heartbeat.
