1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Traits Cheat Sheet - Work in Progress on: 2009 July 05, 23:31:10
In simple terms, no. Awesomemod will give you a... a "meh!" or a "bah!" or some such message upon trying to addtrait the incompatible second trait.

Good to know.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Traits Cheat Sheet - Work in Progress on: 2009 July 05, 01:13:48
Is it possible via addtrait to give a sim two conflicting traits, such as good and evil both? Or is this something that would lead to VBTs?
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Official Site Downloads included with each expansion - looking for a list on: 2007 March 03, 17:15:32
I know I used to have a list somewhere of which downloads from The Official Site were included with which EP's/SP's. My question here is twofold:

1. Does anyone know where I might be able to find such a list (So I know what I can pull from my Downloads folder)?
2. Are any Official Site downloads included in Seasons? If so, and if they are not listed on the answer to #1 above, does anyone have a list of them?

The more stuff I can pull off my hard drive, the better.
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons: What mods are you already begging for? on: 2007 March 03, 17:04:13
My most wanted hack is one to give our NPC friends (enemies?) some sort of a rational desire to wear outerwear when appropriate. I don't know about you, but my mailman doesn't come trudging through knee-deep snow in a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Odd things I noticed about Seasons on: 2007 March 03, 16:42:06
I can't believe that no one has mentioned the oddest thing about Seasons I have seen so far (or if someone HAS mentioned, I must have missed it). That being that the NPC's Maid, Mailman, etc. don't have outerwear for when it's cold. And for some of them (the mailman comes immediately to mind), their outfits are NOT cold-weather friendly. What is the chance that a hack could be written to remedy this situation?
6  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Custom Content Not Showing Up In Seasons on: 2007 March 03, 06:02:49
Try turning on the custom content dialog, then restart the game, make sure custom content is enabled, and then restart the game once more. I had to turn on the custom content dialog before CC showed up. Other people have just had to restart their game several times before it started working.

Yep, that's what I did. I had left the CC disabled and then turned off the CC dialog. Fixed now. Have to remember that for next time.
7  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Custom Content Not Showing Up In Seasons on: 2007 March 03, 04:44:10
Help! I just recently installed Seasons and I can't get custom content to show up in my game. I have followed all the instructions in the article here: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=192907 but to no avail. The only custom content I have installed is as follows:

The FFS Stuff that has been approved/updated for Seasons, in a FFS Subfolder
Numenor's Tanning Bed Donation Gift, in a Numenor Subfolder
Simsbaby's Hidden Clothes unhiders and Outerwear conversions, in a Simsbaby Subfolder
All the official downloads from the Sims 2 home page, as well as the bonus items from previous expansions and the swingset from Target for Seasons, in a Maxis Subfolder
The CEP, in the root downloads folder
The RLS Shaders installed by Scriptorium, also in the root downloads folder

Does anyone have any suggestions (OTHER than those mentioned in the article referenced above) that might help me get my custom content showing up agaiin?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the Necro here, but I was wondering if it would be possible to set up a similar system for Twojeffs' stuff now that he has a directory system in place.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Editing DMA NPC's on: 2006 December 28, 13:19:30
I did, but they so far seem to have the opinion that the common end user doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground and will only muck things up if they try to do something as simple as to change one text string.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Editing DMA NPC's on: 2006 December 28, 13:06:25
Ok, I have been play-testing the DMA NPC's (Live-in maid, etc.), but I really don't like how they are listed in the Services dialog. Anyone out there more awesome than me able to point me in the right direction as to which Resource to edit in SimPE to change.

Example:
Instead of the Service Dialog listing "dmaNPC: Bettie Tidwell, Housekeeper", I would like to just have it say "Live-in Housekeeper (Bettie)" so it would be shorter and wouldn't automatically come before all the Maxis services.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Lot Debugger and Macrotastics box - recolorable? on: 2006 November 20, 17:20:33
Are the FFS Lot Debugger and the Macrotastics box recolorable? If so, has anybody made any recolors of them? It would be nice if someone could make a couple of recolors so that they wouldn't look odd if we left them out in the open (like maybe recoloring them to look like an air conditioner).
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Destroying furniture bug (a fix request maybe?) on: 2006 November 18, 15:10:01
If it was possible to make a hack where scratching/chewing just lowered the environment score (even going negative, as you said), that would be great. I know I'd use it.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Mayday! on: 2006 November 16, 17:40:39
There is a program mentioned on Simprograms.com which will not only look up your serial numbers in the registry for you, it will also let you print them. I believe it was made by Aussie Topenders.

They are. Thanks for that.
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Contact Help on: 2006 November 16, 12:51:46
Thanks so much. Talk about a quick response!
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Contact Help on: 2006 November 16, 12:06:56
Ok, I know this is kind of a stretch, but I know how Awesome the people here are, so I am hoping someone can help me. I am looking for a way to contact Paladin of SimWardrobe.com and jfade of DJS Sims, but neither of them has a method on their site to contact them (at least not that I could find).

Thanks in advance.
17  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Pinstar's new Apocalypse challenge on: 2006 November 16, 09:32:19
Anybody know where to get the safehouses mentioned in the rules?
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Womrats NOT waking up sims? on: 2006 November 15, 13:44:01
Now that's creative.
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Womrats NOT waking up sims? on: 2006 November 15, 10:55:55
That's the definition of insanity: doing the same thing and expecting different results.  Cheesy
20  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Maxis downloads not as custom content (Bins) on: 2006 November 11, 09:03:33
Ah, I see. I thought they were left out for some other reason, like the clothes that don't work right.

Keep up the good work!
21  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Maxis downloads not as custom content (Bins) on: 2006 November 11, 06:24:16
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd personally love to see any and all future downloads, preorder promotional or not, added to this project.

Question, though... Why weren't the Alienware PC, HotRod car, or Fiat car included? And what Lycos collar?
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Hack Compatibility Question on: 2006 October 28, 06:50:57
Is there any of your More Awesome than Me folks out there who would be willing to check Dolphin26's mods at MTS2 and let me know which (if any) are compatible with Pets?

I'll even give ya a link to all of them:
http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?f=38&showType=1&gameOrig=1&gameUni=1&gameNL=1&gameOFB=1&gamePets=1&filter=0&username=dolphin26&csort=0&go=Filter+Downloads

Thank you in advance.
23  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Maxis downloads not as custom content (Bins) on: 2006 October 27, 06:19:50
Ah, I hadn't realized that the bunny bear was in the HPP. That clears it up for me. This is a great project you have undertaken, and I plan to keep an eye on it. Using it now in Pets, myself. No problems whatsoever so far.
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Recreate The Sims 1 in The Sims 2? on: 2006 October 27, 06:16:58
If you ever manage to finish this project, I'd be interested in obtaining the completed, populated neighborhood.
25  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Maxis downloads not as custom content (Bins) on: 2006 October 26, 16:43:29
Is the Li'l Chimera's Plush Bunny-Bear included? I didn't see it in your list.
